Opis:
A graph G is locally irregular if every two adjacent vertices of G have different degrees. A locally irregular decomposition of G is a partition E1,.. . , Ek of E(G) such that each G[Ei] is locally irregular. Not all graphs admit locally irregular decompositions, but for those who are decomposable, in that sense, it was conjectured by Baudon, Bensmail, Przybyło and Woźniak that they decompose into at most 3 locally irregular graphs. Towards that conjecture, it was recently proved by Bensmail, Merker and Thomassen that every decomposable graph decomposes into at most 328 locally irregular graphs. We here focus on locally irregular decompositions of subcubic graphs, which form an important family of graphs in this context, as all non-decomposable graphs are subcubic. As a main result, we prove that decomposable subcubic graphs decompose into at most 5 locally irregular graphs, and only at most 4 when the maximum average degree is less than 12/5. We then consider weaker decompositions, where subgraphs can also include regular connected components, and prove the relaxations of the conjecture above for subcubic graphs.

Opis:
Digraphs in which ordered pairs of out- and in-degrees of vertices are mutually distinct are called irregular, see Gargano et al. [3]. Our investigations focus on the problem: what are possible sizes of irregular digraphs (oriented graphs) for a given order n? We show that those sizes in both cases make up integer intervals. The extremal sizes (the endpoints of these intervals) are found in [1,5]. In this paper we construct, with help of Sokoban-type game, n-vertex irregular oriented graphs (irregular digraphs) of all intermediate sizes.

We investigate face irregular labelings of plane graphs and we introduce new graph characteristics, namely face irregularity strength of type (α,β,γ). We obtain some estimation on these parameters and determine the precise values for certain families of plane graphs that prove the sharpness of the lower bounds.

Opis:
The aim of the article is to show the challenges in scholarly attempts to conceptualize the phenomenon of irregular immigration. Although this type of migration has been of interest to scholars for several decades, it still requires in-depth analysis to better explain and understand its causes, scope, and consequences. The article attempts to clarify the nature of irregular immigration, indicating both the general ways of defining this phenomenon and the process of shaping it in socio-political reality since the end of the 19th century. The analysis reveals the internal diversity, dynamism, and ambiguity of this type of migration, which developed in parallel with the control instruments implemented by the states, aimed at enforcing increasingly complex immigration regulations conditioning the entry, stay and work of immigrants. The presented theoretical reflection on the complexity and the heterogeneity of irregular immigration is then confronted with the interpretation of this phenomenon in the EU immigration policy. Another important complement to these studies is to show the terminological challenges that have emerged in previous studies on irregular immigration. They are important both for the objectification of theoretical investigations and for an empirical analysis of this social phenomenon.

Opis:
This paper presents an application of the Hough Transform to the tasks of learning and identifying irregular patterns in a computer vision system. The method presented is based on the Hough Transform with a parameter space defined by translation, rotation and scaling operations. A fundamental element of this method is the generalisation of the Hough Transform for grey-level and colour images. The technique may be used in a robotic system, identification system or for image analysis.

Opis:
An essential feature of irregular warfare is applying special forms of combat activities al-lowing the forces conducting them both survival on the terrain controlled by the enemy and efficient interaction with enemy forces. Forces expected to participate in irregular war-fare can be prepared in the peace time or during the war. They should be able to execute mission in isolation and in conditions of insufficiency of logistic support, without direct sup-port from the supervisor. Due to the facts presented above, nowadays planning and executing irregular warfare seems to be a complicated process.

Opis:
Irregular immigration is a phenomenon with a substantial impact for the majority of the countries. The paper analyses whether there is an adequate human rights framework for protection of irregular immigrants or whether the irregular status exempts the migrants from the protection of international human rights law. If this is the case, then the human rights universality has failed. The paper takes into consideration the developments in the International and EU Law, as well as in the jurisprudence of the international tribunals regarding protection of irregular immigrants. It is divided into three main sections. The first section informs briefly on the dynamics of irregular immigrants; the second section analyses the legislation on irregular immigration from the perspective of the state sovereignty, the third section analyses the human rights law and the protection it affords to irregular immigrants, pursuant to the interpretation of International tribunals.

A digraph in which any two vertices have distinct degree pairs is called irregular. Sets of degree pairs for all irregular oriented graphs (also loopless digraphs and pseudodigraphs) with minimum and maximum size are determined. Moreover, a method of constructing corresponding irregular realizations of those sets is given.

Conflicts in the current world are a global security threat. Conflict resolution is not easy, unless the reason are the political tensions and disputes in the state or between states and the pursuit of resolving these disputes by peaceful or diplomatic forms are unsuccessful. Radicalized non-state actors, who are the other actors of the conflict, do not see the possibility of applying democratic means of solving the problem, and therefore resort to irregular activities with the aim to discredit the government, destabilize the state authority, activate riots, open acts of violence and so on1 . Necessarily this creates conditions for the use of armed force as an instrument of power of the state or peacekeeping force of the international crisis management organizations which are present in conflict resolution
