Knowledge of basic principles concerning rational farm machinery and equipment use leaves a lot to be desired. In practice, farmers carry out servicing recommended by manufacturers to a limited extent. In this article the issue is demonstrated using the example of farms located in Żabno Borough.

Opis:: Niniejsza publikacja porusza aspekty zdalnej diagnostyki maszyn górniczych oraz korzyści, jakie daje wprowadzenie tego typu rozwiązań. Szczególny nacisk został położony na wozy wiercące i kotwiące pracujące w kopalniach, w których nie ma rozwiniętej infrastruktury sieci wewnątrzkopalnianej. Takich kopalni na świecie jest bardzo dużo. Co za tym idzie, trzeba zaspokajać potrzeby klientów przy uwzględnieniu jak najniższych kosztów serwisowania oraz utrzymania maszyn w ruchu.
The publication features the aspects of remote diagnostics of mining machines and the benefits resulting from such solutions. Special focus was put on drill rigs and roof bolt setters operating in the mines where there is not developed infrastructure of internal network. There are many such mines in the world. As a result of that, it is necessary to meet the clients' needs with consideration of the lowest possible costs of machines servicing and maintenance.

Opis:: W logistyce lotniczej jednym z kluczowych problemów jest stworzenie warunków do przygotowania statku powietrznego do lotu. Dotyczy to głównie realizacji procesu obsługiwania. Intensywność użytkowania wojskowych statków powietrznych ma wpływ na wielkość ich potrzeb logistycznych, a tym samym na możliwości personelu technicznego w realizacji procesu obsługiwania. W artykule w oparciu o opis matematyczny struktur działania zaprezentowano analizę procesu obsługiwania wojskowych statków powietrznych. Kryterium oceny jest czas trwania czynności obsługowych przy zmieniających się środkach logistycznych.
In the air logistics, one of important problems is preparation of an aircraft to the flight. This concerns mainly realization of servicing process. The usage intensity of military aircrafts affects their logistic requirements, and possibility of technical personnel in servicing process. In the paper, there has been presented a mathematical model of the analysis of military aircrafts servicing process based on their operational structures. The estimation criterion is the time of a servicing process by changes of the logistic requirements.

Opis:: The current article presents the problems of agricultural production, including the sustainable system of farming, related to servicing agricultural vehicles and machines. It discusses solutions which ensure support for sustainable development. Moreover, it presents research into maintenance of agricultural vehicles and machines conducted by an authorised service in the aspect of the distance between the site where the works are performed and the premises of the company. It also presents the structure of service orders for four radii measuring r = 0 km, 0 km < r ≤ 50 km, 50 km < r ≤ 100 km and r > 100 km. The study was conducted in the years 2003-2013 in an enterprise which offers authorised servicing. The structure of 17,402 service orders executed in the company’s garage (r=0) and those executed on farms or under field conditions (r>0) were represented graphically and analysed statistically with the use of the R programme.

Opis:: The article describes the organizational and legal foundation of the principle of budget transparency in Poland. The study considers the legal basis for access to information about the activities of public authorities and the legal foundation of the principle of transparency of the budgetary process in the Republic of Poland. The main instruments for achievement of transparency of all operations with public funds such as budget classification, the cash servicing of budget implementation, budget accounting and reporting are analysed. While attempting to describe the aforementioned matters, the author proposes a definition of the term “budget transparency”.

Opis:: Since 2014, each local self-government unit is obliged to comply with the individual limit of allowed budget burden related to payments on deficit servicing, set out in Article 243 (1) of the Act on Public Finance. Many self-governments have already reached the threshold of the allowed indebtedness set by this indicator. As a result, local authorities of some self-governments decide to use financial operations that allow for circumventing this limit in order to use the EU funds from the new financial perspective for 2014-2020. Leaseback is one of these instruments.

Opis:: Hydraulic actuators that commonly used in machine work systems are not equipped with protection features preventing the autonomous insertion and extension of a piston rod because of the influence of external forces. Consequently, a spontaneous fall of working circuits in the event of the loss of tightness of supply lines of an actuator may occur. Currently applied safety features that are sometimes mounted directly on hydraulic cylinders as in the case of mining machinery intended for exploitation in black coal mines protect working systems from uncontrolled lowering. However, their design forces the drive to be started to make it safe to leave the work system. If, for any reason, the drive system of a machine cannot be started and the work system is raised, its lowering can take place only by unsealing the hydraulic system, which is unforeseeable for constructors and carries the danger of crushing a person or persons involved. The paper presents a new solution for hydraulic cylinders, which enables, among other things, the controlled and safe insertion of a piston rod under load without the need for having the drive system started.

Opis:: Recent challenges in space access include cost optimization and space debris reduction. The European Space Agency has envisioned the evolution of in-orbit transportation involving re-usable service vehicles, moving payloads from high parking orbits to their target orbits. This concept for orbital infrastructure requires de-risking activities and the development of building blocks, such as standardized interfaces and communication. Mastery of close-proximity operations and docking is essential for the new transportation system. This new branch of space operations represents a good opportunity to introduce more sustainable propulsion solutions, especially given the high costs and uncertain future of hydrazine and its derivatives. IOSHEX, a service spacecraft to be equipped with a green propulsion system utilizing 98% hydrogen peroxide, serves as a reference. This paper presents a design concept for this propulsion system, including trade-off analyses, calculations, and a three-dimensional model integrated with IOSHEX.

The article presents main guidelines and determinants for functioning of such a system within repair support for agriculture, and focuses on its organisational efficiency.
