The Authors present the path for theoretical framework towards leadership adopted due to emerging technologies in organization’s environment. Web 2.0 challenge the way organizations are managed in the era of social revolution. If companies are to stay efficient and competitive, leaders must adopt behaviors, new ICT tools and develop new strategies/solutions to appeal to Z/Millennium Generation and incoming Web 3.0 challenges.

Opis:
Od początku istnienia idei Web 2.0 w bibliotekach, tj. od pierwszych lat XXI wieku, rozwój techniczny i technologiczny służył poprawie komunikacji bibliotekarzy i czytelników. Dzięki Web 2.0 czytelnicy wpływają na jakość i formę proponowanych im usług bibliotecznych i dlatego ważna jest obserwacja, ocena oraz dostosowanie potrzeb użytkowników do współczesnego modelu biblioteki. Autorka artykułu poddała analizie stan badań Web 2.0 w bibliotekach, w tym przede wszystkim sfery blogów, serwisów społecznościowych i innych aplikacji internetowych. Na podstawie analizy zagranicznej literatury fachowej autorka wskazała istotne tendencje, metody i wyniki badań zaobserwowane w bibliotekach różnych krajów świata, Europy i Polski.
From the moment the idea of Web 2.0 entered libraries, i.e. from the first years of the 21th century, technical and technological development has been used to improve the communication between librarians and readers. Owing to the idea of 2.0 Web, readers can influence the quality and the form of library services offered to them. Therefore, observation, evaluation and adaptation of users' needs to the contemporary model of libraries are important. The author of the article has analyzed the state of the research on Web 2.0 at libraries, mainly the sphere of blogs, social networking and other web applications. On the basis of the analysis of foreign specialist literature, the author presents some essential tendencies, methods and research conclusions observed in libraries of different countries of the world, Europe, and also Poland.

Opis:
In the article the author presented the current state of the phenomenon of Library 2.0 and possibilities of using its components by libraries. The author concentrated on selected issues and network services that determine an important part of the activity of libraries (school, public, academic and special) in a social Internet and traditional activities of these institutions. The author paid particular attention to the interactivity library services, mobility, using Web 2.0 tools by readers and librarians, but also new forms of mobile access to digital documents. The main aim of the analysis was to show how the phenomenon of Web 2.0 ( defined by Tim O'Reillego in 2004) influenced and influences on the functioning of various types of libraries. Should we speak about the end or crisis of Library 2.0, or rather about the evolution and development of this phenomenon in the context of new ways of cooperation and communication? The characteristic has been prepared mainly on the basis of the analysis and critique of the literature, as well as the observations (including participatory observation) of the network of library, information services and information behavior of librarians and the Internet users which use the library virtual offer.

Opis:
Meeting the educational needs of students currently requires moving toward collaborative electronic and mobile learning systems that parallel the vision of Web 2.0. However, factors such as data freedom, brokerage, interconnectivity and the Internet of Things add to a vision for Web 3.0 that will require consideration in the development of future campus-based, distance and vocational study. So, education can, in future, be expected to require deeper technological connections between students and learning environments, based on significant use of sensors, mobile devices, cloud computing and rich-media visualization. Therefore, we discuss challenges associated with such a futuristic campus context, including how learning materials and environments may be enriched by it. As an additional novel element the potential for much of that enrichment to be realized through development by students, within the curriculum, is also considered. We will conclude that much of the technology required to embrace the vision of Web 3.0 in education already exists, but that further research in key areas is required for the concept to achieve its full potential.

Th e article analyzes media accountability instruments in Austria and how far they are designed to allow transparent, pro-active and participative operations. Firstly, the authors will have a look at traditional media accountability instruments and examine how they act, what their defi cits are and to what extent they include audiences. Secondly, web-based accountability processes will be ana- lyzed, focusing on their participation possibilities and on the problem of reactivity. Th irdly, the state of the art and the chances of online transparency of news production will be discussed. Next to a practice check, the implementation of such tools will be discussed. Th e authors argue that transparency on all these levels is an important, yet undervalued principle to media accountability. Th e analysis will be completed with recent data from the Austrian part of a comparative study on media accountability done in the context of the EU-funded RP7-framework research project MediaAcT.

Opis:
This article examines the functioning of the cross-media system during wartime by comparing the strategy of two Ukrainian newspaper websites, one attached to the daily Vysoky Zamok, published in Lviv, and the other to the English-language weekly from the capital, the Kyiv Post. For the interpretation of data this study relies on content analysis as well as a combination of comparative and systematizing strategies. Both newspapers, as we have found, are adept at using various communication channels to push their cross-media information production and distribution. This strategy has a lot of advantages for the operator. He can get information from consumers who retain their privacy, and he can induce individual consumers to interact regularly online with media outlets offering the latest blogs, films, photos, commentaries, opinion polls, product rankings, etc. Moreover, the use of multiple media channels by the consumer may result in content being placed and reproduced in a widening circle of platforms and social media chats. Finally, it can be observed that since 2022 each platform has developed its own activity pattern (whereby the frequency of new uploads is the most important indicator of its health).
