Opis:: Przedstawiono budowę i zasadę działania systemu monitorowania składu wieloskładnikowych mrożonek warzywnych i owocowych przemieszczających się na przemysłowej linii produkcyjnej. System składa się z układu kamer cyfrowych, rejestratora obrazu oraz komputera z algorytmem do analizy obrazu, który określa przybliżony skład mrożonek w oparciu o zawartość poszczególnych barw w zarejestrowanym obrazie. Przedstawiony system umożliwia monitorowanie prawidłowego funkcjonowania linii produkcyjnej oraz identyfikację możliwych przyczyn występowania niejednorodności składu mrożonek.
The structure and operation principle of the system for monitoring the composition of multicomponent frozen vegetables and fruit transported in the industry-scale production line are presented. The system consists of a set-up of digital cameras, an image recording device and a computer with an algorithm for image analysis that determines the estimated frozen food composition based on the content of specific colors in the recorded images. The presented system enables monitoring of the proper operation of the production line and identifying possible causes of inhomogeneous composition of the frozen food.

Opis:: Beach sands from the Rosa Marina locality (Adriatic coast, southern Italy) were analysed mainly microscopically in order to trace the source areas of their lithoclastic and bioclastic components. The main cropping out sedimentary units were also studied with the objective to identify the potential source areas of lithoclasts. This allowed to establish how the various rock units contribute to the formation of beach sands. The analysis of the bioclastic components allows to estimate the actual role of organisms regarding the supply of this material to the beach. Identification of taxa that are present in the beach sands as shell fragments or other remains was carried out at the genus or family level. Ecological investigation of the same beach and the recognition of sub-environments (mainly distinguished on the basis of the nature of the substrate and of the water depth) was the key topic that allowed to establish the actual source areas of bioclasts in the Rosa Marina beach sands. The sedimentological analysis (including a physical study of the beach and the calculation of some statistical parameters concerning the grain-size curves) shows that the Rosa Marina beach is nowadays subject to erosion.

Opis:: In the article we were studing the impact of the remelting on transformations in Co-Cr-Mo prosthetics alloy. The TDA curves were analyzed, the microstructure was examined, the analysis of the chemical composition and hardness using the Brinell method was made. It was found that the obtained microstructure of the alloys that we studied do not differ significantly. In all four samples, microscopic images were similar to each other. The volume, size and distribution of the phases remain similar. Analysis of the chemical composition showed that all the samples fall within the compositions provided for the test alloy. Further to this the hardness of the samples, regardless of the number of remeltings did not show any significant fluctuations and remained within the error limit. After analyzing all the results, it can be concluded that the remeltings of the alloys should not have a significant impact on their properties. Secondarily melted alloys can be used for prosthetics works.

Opis:: W niniejszym artykule poruszono problematykę dotyczącą ochrony i planowania krajobrazu stanowiącą istotny element działalności architekta, architekta krajobrazu i planisty. Praca pokazuje przydatność archiwalnych źródeł kartograficznych dla współczesnych badań krajobrazowych (m.in. historii, przekształceń, kompozycji) i projektów rewaloryzacji. Przedmiotem badań są mapy katastralne – część austriackiego katastru gruntowego z połowy XIX w. sporządzonego dla celów podatkowych. Każdy z czterech rodzajów map (1. oryginały, pierworysy; 2. mapy ewidencyjne – litograficzne czystorysy; 3. tzw. „Wiedenki”, kolorowane odbitki map oryginalnych; 4. szkice indykacyjne, na których nanoszono zmiany), daje szereg cennych informacji, wykorzystywanych w badaniach. Treść map jest niesłychanie precyzyjna. Wadą jest brak ukształtowania terenu. Mapy katastralne są doskonałym materiałem źródłowym do badań historycznego krajobrazu.
This article discusses the issues of landscape conservation and planning, which constitutes a significant element of the professional activity of an architect, landscape architect and a planner. The paper highlights the value of archival cartographic sources for contemporary landscape research (including history, transformations and compositions) and revalorization projects. The subject of the study is the principal part of the Austrian land cadaster from mid 19th Century prepared for land tax – cadastral maps. There are four types of maps containing significant information of particular value for research: 1. originals – first drafts; 2. evidence maps; 3 ‘Viennese’ (‘Wiedenki’) – lithographic coloured copies of original maps; 4. indicative sketches to be subsequently amended. The content of the maps is extremely precise. Cadastral maps are an excellent source material for historic landscape research.
