Opis:: The article presents knowledge about the modified e-learning on-line synchronous teaching of digital systems, which took place in the period of widespread closure of schools during almost the entire school year 2020/2021 at a secondary school with an IT focus. The importance of teaching digital systems in computer science and the integration of teaching into available lessons is briefly clarified. Furthermore, the content of teaching is presented, including its modification by elements of programming by DCBLP discourse and links to existing knowledge about this use from previous years. The subject of research interest will be the specific effects of changes on students’ opinions regarding the content of the subject. For this purpose, a qualitative investigation based on the design of the grounded theory will be used. The work brings partial knowledge that can serve as additional material for the determination of other research questions, hypotheses and identification of potential problems in teaching. The results show the pupils’ interest in the digital systems enriched by the programming discourse reveals the possible perception of a long time distance learning in this area.

Opis:: This paper presents an overview of the latest developments in electronic learning and teaching methods and tools brought about by digital transformations aimed at making education more efficient and effective. A set of general and specific research methods was used to conduct the study, in particular bibliographical and descriptive, chronological, specification, analysis, systematisation and classification, observation, survey and expert interviews, abstraction, analogy and comparison, comparative, modelling, forecasting and argumentation, and logical generalisation. The authors describe their approach to structural organisation of the novel e-learning ecosystem and single out its key components, including technology, learning contexts, and learning outcomes, as well as a set of secondary external factors that determine the quality and effectiveness of education when digitalised. This paper explores characteristics and features of e-learning such as customisation, autonomy, and interactivity with a focus on micro-learning, and presents the findings of an analysis of the most popular open educational resources (OERs), massive open online courses (MOOCs), and online learning platforms, highlighting their major advantages and disadvantages.

Opis:: We present a report from our preliminary research, which focused on the possibilities of implementing game elements into e-learning at university. We were interested in the attitudes and preferences of the students on the introductory course for the study of culture, where a questionnaire survey was conducted. We asked students what potential they see in the application of digital technologies in e-learning, what motivates them to study online and what advantages and limits of the educational principles of games they see in e-learning. Here we offer a description of the preliminary results that led to our next research steps. The questionnaire was distributed among students of two runs of the Introduction to the Study of Culture course at the Faculty of Social Studies of Masaryk University, who completed it after the final test. A total of 188 students submitted a completed form. These were bachelor students, usually in the first year of study, mostly women. We chose a freely available online tool for the analysis, our approach to data processing was non-mathematical at this stage. Nevertheless, we believe that it has enabled us to gain a direct and unmediated insight into the subject of our research. Mixed methods pragmatic rationalization of the research process traditionally refers to the complementarity of datasets and greater validity. Based on the findings, we recommend to educators and developers of the online learning environment how they could improve the design of e-learning in accordance with the needs and different learning styles of students.

Opis:: Ograniczenie możliwości spotykania się w obliczu pandemii COVID-19 spowodowało, że uczelnie wyższe zostały zmuszone do zawieszenia zajęć dydaktycznych w tradycyjnej formie, jednak zgodnie z zaleceniami powinny kontynuować działania dydaktyczne w formie online. W artykule podjęto próbę wyjaśnienia zjawiska transformacji cyfrowej uczelni wyższej obejmującej swoim zakresem zmianę systemu zarządzania, sposobu prowadzenia zajęć oraz nadania nowego kierunku organizacji przy jednoczesnym zaspokojeniu potrzeb wszystkich interesariuszy. Zjawisko zostało wyjaśnione na przykładzie Akademii Leona Koźmińskiego (ALK), której działania mogą stanowić modelowy wzór wykorzystywany przez inne uczelnie w procesie cyfryzacji, a także otwierać przed ośrodkami akademickimi nowe, globalne możliwości
The COVID-19 pandemic has limited the ability to meet. Colleges and universities have been forced to suspend all activities in the traditional form. However, they should continue their teaching activities online. The article attempts to explain the phenomenon of digital transformation of a university. This transformation involved changing the management system, the way classes are conducted and giving a new direction to the organization, while meeting the needs of all stakeholders. The phenomenon was explained on the example of Kozminski University (KU). KU activities can be a model used by other universities in the process of digitization, and also - open new, global opportunities for academic centers.

Opis:: The purpose of this article is to explain the principle behind practice tests based on authentic short stories in English, describe their construction, and outline their application which aims to increase student knowledge and skills in a foreign language. The methodology employs digital practice tests created following a set of criteria for test development based on Bloom’s taxonomy. The results of the study indicate certain benefits of the practice tests: short stories introduce new vocabulary and the tests provide reinforcement, which both facilitates and motivates the students.

Opis:: The paper presents a synopsis of the evolution of methods and techniques up to the digital age and characterises the main aspects of behaviourist and constructivist models in order to study the development of new advanced pedagogical tools and methods in education science in constructivist environment. For the purpose of the study, an analysis of the technological evolution during the last decades and its impact on education science was made, with a special focus on virtual teaching and learning. The practical outcome of the study was a series of online seminars and workshops, prepared by the international team of the IRNet project. The keynotes and workshops were held during DLCC2017 Conference (Theoretical and Practical Aspects of Distance Learning, subtitle: Effective Development of Teachers’ Skills in the Area of ICT and E-learning) at the University of Silesia in Katowice, Poland. Artykuł przedstawia przegląd ewolucji metod i technik nauczania aż do ery cyfrowej. Podaje charakterystykę głównych aspektów modeli behawiorystycznych oraz konstruktywistycznych w celu zbadania rozwoju nowych zaawansowanych narzędzi i metod pedagogicznych stosowanych w naukach o edukacji w środowisku konstruktywistycznym. Dla potrzeb badań dokonano analizy ewolucji technologicznej, jaka zaszła w ciągu ostatnich dekad, oraz jej wpływu na edukację, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem wirtualnego uczenia się i nauczania. Praktycznym rezultatem badańbyła seria seminariów i warsztatów przeprowadzonych online, które przygotował zespół projektu IRNet. Wystąpienia i warsztaty odbyły się w ramach przeprowadzonej w 2017 roku konferencji DLCC(Teoretyczne i praktyczne aspekty nauczania na odległość: efektywne kształtowanie umiejętności nauczycieli w obszarach ICT oraz e-learningu).

Opis:: The article examines the possible forms of self-management of the teacher professional growth of the management departments in the universities of the Republic of Poland. The following forms of enhancement of the teacher professional level are analyzed as courses, studies, trainings and portfolio. Distance and open education are characterized as alternative forms of self-management of the teacher professional growth in Polish universities. It was established that teachers of management departments use information systems LMS, LCMS; digital platforms Moodle, ELIAS and USOS in the system of higher education of the Republic of Poland. The types of e-learning are described, its possibilities and influence on the teacher professional growth are characterized within the management departments in the Polish universities. The questionnaires and interviews data are analysed for teachers of management departments in the universities of the Republic of Poland, in which the ways and forms are indicated for self-management of professional growth preferred by the teachers of the management departments of Polish universities. The role of digital technologies is analysed as an integral part in self-management of teacher professional growth in the modern conditions of globalization and European integration of Polish society.
W artykule rozważono możliwe formy samorozwoju nauczycieli katedr zarządzania uniwersytetów Polski. Przeanalizowano następujące formy podwyższenia kwalifikacji nauczycieli akademickich z wykorzystaniem technologii cyfrowych: kursy, szkolenia, seminaria, treningi, kształcenie podyplomowe. Została scharakteryzowana edukacja na odległość i edukacja otwarta jako alternatywne formy wsparcia procesu samozarządzania rozwojem zawodowym nauczycieli akademickich uczelni polskich. Ustalono, że w systemie szkolnictwa wyższego w Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej nauczyciele katedr zarządzania najczęściej korzystają z systemów informatycznych LMS, LCMS; platform cyfrowych Moodle, ELIAS i USOS. Scharakteryzowano rodzaje e-learningu, opisano jego możliwości i wpływ na rozwój zawodowy nauczycieli katedr zarządzania uczelni polskich. Przeanalizowano dane kwestionariuszy i wywiadów wspomnianych nauczycieli akademickich, podano wskazane przez osoby ankietowane sposoby i formy samorozwoju zawodowego, preferowane przez nich. Przeanalizowano rolę technologii cyfrowych jako integralnej części samodoskonalenia się nauczycieli w nowoczesnych warunkach globalizacji i integracji europejskiej polskiego społeczeństwa.

Opis:: Stan zagrożenia epidemicznego COVID-19 spowodował ograniczenia bieżącej działalności uczelni i sprawił, że zmianie uległo prawo i jego stosowanie. Praca uczelni w czasie pandemii nie została zawieszona, stopniowo były znoszone kolejne ograniczenia i przywracano bieżącą działalność. Uczelnie zmuszone zostały do szybkiego wypracowania nowych rozwiązań, które umożliwiały prowadzenie kształcenia i bieżącą pracę uczelni w zdalnej formie przy zachowaniu wymagań wynikających z rozporządzeń MNiSW i wymagań sanitarnych. Celem opracowania jest przedstawienie wprowadzonych w roku akademickim 2019-2020 rozwiązań ustawowych i wykonawczych oraz ocena ich realizacji i skuteczności w kontekście transformacji cyfrowej. W tekście, weryfikowana jest teza, że przepisy prawne umożliwiają realizację statutowych celów uczelni, a ich ewolucja i stosowanie są adekwatne do sytuacji i zagrożeń. W artykule wykazano ponadto, że funkcjonowanie uczelni wymagało jednocześnie gruntownej zmiany w organizacji pracy, w zakresie: procesu kształcenia, weryfikacji efektów kształcenia i prowadzenia dokumentacji przebiegu studiów w postaci elektronicznej. Uczelnie musiały dokonać transformacji cyfrowej. Rozwiązania elektroniczne wymagały zabezpieczenia odpowiedniego sprzętu komputerowego oraz infrastruktury telekomunikacyjnej. Wymagało to zarówno od studentów jak i pracowników uczelni nabycia nowych kompetencji cyfrowych. Czas ten z całą pewnością nie jest stracony a część rozwiązań wprowadzonych w czasie pandemii będzie prawdopodobnie wykorzystywana również po jej ustaniu. Zmiany jakie zaistniały w czasie pandemii ukazały zapotrzebowanie na nowe kompetencje. Szansą i zadaniem dla uczelni jest bowiem rozwijanie dalszych kompetencji cyfrowych pracowników uczelni i studentów.
The COVID-19 epidemic threats caused significant restrictions on current activities of the Universities and other academical institutions. The consequences of these resulted in changes of legal provisions and their application. The functioning of Universities during the pandemic was not suspended; successive restrictions were gradually lifted, until the current activity was restored. Universities were forced to develop new solutions that made conducting education possible as well as ongoing work of institution in a remote form. The above-mentioned activities were in compliance with regulations of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education as well as sanitary requirements. The aim of this article is to present the statutory and regulatory solutions and to assess their implementation and effectiveness in the context of digital transformation. The Author verifies the thesis, that “COVID-19 legal regulations” enable the achievement of statutory goals of Universities, and furthermore, that their evolution and application is adequate to the situation and hazards caused by pandemic situation. The article also showed that the functioning of the Universities required a thorough change in the organization of their work in the fields of, the education process, verification of learning outcomes and keeping the studies documentation in the electronic form. Universities were forced to go through a digital transformation. Electronic solutions required appropriate protection of computers and telecommunications infrastructure. It required both students and university staff to acquire new digital competences. This period was certainly not wasted and some of the solutions introduced during the pandemic will probably be also used after it has ceased. The changes that took place during the pandemic showed the need for new competences. The opportunity and task for universities is to develop further digital competences of university employees and students.

Opis:: This article is an analysis of the use of digital education in Polish philological education, both at schools and at public universities. The author presents how Polish lessons and classes are fulfilled using technology, which electronic resources are worth using in education, and identifies the needs of schoolteachers and lecturers. She also answers the question whether the Polish-language virtual landscape is a natural extension of the social-communication environment to which the young generation is accustomed, and whether education platforms are eagerly used in Polish education.
Niniejszy artykuł jest próbą analizy udziału dydaktyki cyfrowej w kształceniu polonistycznym, zarówno w szkołach (oświacie), jak i na uczelniach publicznych. Autorka prezentuje, w jaki sposób realizuje się zajęcia polonistyczne z użyciem technologii, jakie zasoby elektroniczne warto wykorzystywać do kształcenia, jakie są potrzeby nauczycieli uczących w szkołach i na uczelniach wyższych. Odpowiada także na pytanie, czy polskojęzyczna przestrzeń wirtualna jest naturalnym przedłużeniem środowiska społeczno-komunikacyjnego, do którego przyzwyczajone jest młode pokolenie oraz czy platformy edukacyjne są chętnie wykorzystywane do kształcenia polonistycznego.

Opis:: The Covid-19 pandemic has caused an exponential change in the educational environment. The impact of epidemiological situation has been so powerful, that it can be considered that a new paradigm has been born based on semi-presence as new didactic normality. We witness the new and accelerated context where Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) have acquired a greater role than they used to ever have. Under this new perspective, which also involves a strong reflection on the teaching-learning processes, a review of existing technological resources and their functionality at present is proposed. Taking all of this into consideration, during the beginning of the 21st century the technological advances in the field of education have been significant. Management platforms, resources on the Internet, or other media and simultaneous interaction are some of the key tools in a world immersed in a rethinking that goes far beyond a classroom.
Pandemia Covid-19 spowodowała ogromną zmianę w środowisku edukacyjnym. Wpływ sytuacji epidemiologicznej był tak silny, że można uznać, iż powstał nowy paradygmat oparty na „półobecności” jako nowej normie dydaktycznej. Jesteśmy świadkami nowego kontekstu, w którym technologie informacyjne i komunikacyjne (ICT) zyskały większą rolę niż kiedykolwiek. W tej nowej perspektywie, która obejmuje również silną refleksję nad procesami nauczania i uczenia się, proponuje się przegląd istniejących zasobów technologicznych i ich aktualnej funkcjonalności. Biorąc pod uwagę powyższe, na początku XXI wieku postęp technologiczny w dziedzinie edukacji był bardzo znaczący. Platformy zarządzania, zasoby Internetowe lub inne media i interakcja symultaniczna to tylko niektóre z kluczowych narzędzi w świecie objętym rewolucyjnym podejściem do nauczania, które wykraczają daleko poza salę lekcyjną.
