Opis:: The exponential growth of technological advancements creates an environment in which the traditionally conceived cognitive enhancement – education – must constantly redefine itself in the face of the invasive presence of A.I., the social media and various biotechnologies that strive to augment the effect-oriented performance. Whereas on the conceptual level there is a visible shift from the static to flow-modelled education, and the rising trend to invest in the skills like flexibility and creativity, not many of emerging technologies are seriously considered as educational tools. The paper looks into the varieties of cognitive enhancement within educational context. Of major concern are the already available technologies of collective intelligence and nootropics, as well as experimental dowloadable learning. I review the problems occasioned by these technologies, as well as the existing solutions, which tend to incorporate rather than exclude the possibilities of radical cognitive enhancement.

Opis:: The purpose of the article is to present Maria Montessori’s pedagogy and her concepts included in contemporary integrated education which uses modern teaching technologies. Methods: The author relies on her own research and takes account of the source literature. She uses the diagnostic survey method. Results: The author analyzes the situation of early school education and the use of new technologies by teachers. Primarly, the report of her research was applied. The data analysis results show that the vast majority of teachers undertook to implement new technologies into education, but unfortunately on a rare basis, and the group that uses these devices in education most frequently and undertakes training is early school and pre-school education teachers. In addition, the author, based on the obtained research results, presented examples of educational solutions that could combine Maria Montessori’s pedagogy and new technologies. Conclusions: The purpose of the article is to present Maria Montessori’s pedagogy and her concepts included in modern integrated education which uses modern teaching technologies. Therefore, efforts were made to diagnose the range of application of modern technologies in integrated education. Determining the involvement of teachers in the organization of the teaching process with the use of new technologies is important because not all teachers have IT education. This issue was mentioned in the quantitative research conducted among teachers in 2021. In addition, the author, based on the obtained research results, presented examples of educational solutions that could combine Maria Montessori’s pedagogy and new technologies. Teachers should update their knowledge on didactic innovations that improve the process of gaining information about the world and follow those aspects which determine the behaviour and needs of students nowadays. I have presented in this article a method to combine educational ideas which are centuries apart.

Opis:: This study comprises an analysis of the school education system in the context of using modern technologies. Its main goal is to present the benefits and limitations associated with the implementation of modern technologies in the school environment. Two fundamental questions will be asked: 1) What are the effects of using new technologies in education, including intercultural education? 2) Can modern technologies pave the way for implementing the ideal of education as an activity aimed primarily at shaping an individual capable of effective and creative adaptation to the social reality in which otherness, including cultural otherness, is common? The authors indicate the types of implemented technologies and assess their impact on adapting students to the extracurricular reality. Referring to the source data and postulates of the contemporary pedagogical and sociological thought, the authors highlight the topicality of the message requiring from the school the activation and development of students’ competencies that will be effectively and creatively implemented in their future professional and social life. It should also be noted that education takes place in cyberspace as well, especially when it is related to the use of modern technologies, which is why great importance should be drawn to cybersecurity.

People of present times are facing a technological revolution, resulting from the intensive development of sciences, which forces rapid changes in the surroundings. In case of people with sight dysfunctions, development of new technologies creates some independence in gathering information, which was impossible before, and makes their participation in social life even more complete. It is an opportunity to avoid a disability or to reduce its consequences in a significant way. The goal of the presentation is to show the latest scientific achievements related to education, diagnosis and rehabilitation of people with sight dysfunctions.

Opis:: In the recent years we have observed the development of devices and visualizations for monitoring the activity of a user (movement and position) in a virtual environment. Along with the growing utilization of personal computers for visualization and rapid development of computer image generation in real time, universities, following the latest trends used in science, are looking for solutions to reach students through the senses of: sight, hearing and touch. We should take into consideration the diversity of students’ styles and strategies of learning, that’s why the use of virtual reality (VR) in education is a response to the characteristics of the current age. Student as a creative maker and not just a passive recipient deliberately looks for new techniques of acquiring information and thanks to them he or she can build many precious skills, among others, independence in planning or carrying out a task, or cooperating in a team. In this context it is necessary to inform students about research, which is an integral part and foundation for understanding the processes taking place in course of team work e.g.: in aviation. The goal of the article is an attempt to assess the influence of virtual reality technology on education in the 21st century.
W ostatnich latach nastąpił rozwój urządzeń do wizualizacji oraz śledzenia czynności użytkownika (ruchów i położenia) w wirtualnym środowisku. Wraz ze wzrostem wykorzystania komputerów osobistych do wizualizacji i szybkim rozwojem technologii komputerowego generowania obrazu w czasie rzeczywistym uczelnie wyższe podążając za nowymi trendami wykorzystywanymi w nauce, tym samym szukając rozwiązań aby dotrzeć do studentów przez zmysły: wzroku, słuchu, dotyku i czucia. Należy uwzględnić różnorodność stylów i strategii uczenia się studentów, dlatego wykorzystanie wirtualnej rzeczywistości (ang. Virtual reality – VR) w edukacji jest odpowiedzią na specyfikę współczesnych czasów. Student jako kreatywny twórca a nie tylko bierny odbiorca świadomie szuka nowoczesnych technik pozyskiwania informacji, dzięki którym może kształcić wiele cennych umiejętności, m.in.: samodzielności w planowaniu i wykonywaniu zadania lub współdziałania w zespole. W tym kontekście niezbędne jest zapoznanie studentów z badaniem będącym integralną częścią i podstawą do zrozumienia procesów jakie zachodzą w czasie pracy zespołowej np.: w lotnictwie. Celem artykułu jest próba oceny wpływu technik wirtualnej rzeczywistości na edukację XXI wieku.
