Opis:: The notion of a method is not identical with the notion of model of social work, although different models assume different methods of work. Many models of social work have been created. One can mention, for example, the psychosocial model (based on the assumption that the cause of the problems of an individual are unconscious, unrealized conflicts and unfulfilled, subconscious needs; the solution of the problems is sought through an analysis of events and experiences from the past), problemic, structural, model of modification of behaviours; group therapy, resocialization model, crisis model etc. Thus, in the functional model, one puts the emphasis on building the relation with the ward, maximal use of the time given and avoiding diagnostic categories as useless in social work. The problem-oriented model bases on the assumption that problems are an inevitable element of life, their solution is sought through analysing present factors, the main emphasis is put on the ward's involvement in the solving of the problem, the task of the social worker is determining the ward's subjective attitude to the problem and motivating him to action. The structural model is based on the assuption that the individual's problems are the effect of a definite social structure and they do not result from personal neglect, and the basis of help is support for the client and his immediate social environment. The model of behaviour modification, based on psychological behaviourism, assumes that through employing knowledge about the mechanisms of learning one can change attitudes and the way the individual reacts49. It is worth mentioning also models which integrate social work with individuals, groups and communities. An example of such a model is the systemic model, in the frames of which one can differentiate several variants, e. g. ecological, life model, competence model). In the systemic model one emphasizes the improvement of relations between the ward and his or her social environment through seeking a system of social support, rejecting the view that the ward's situation can be improved through actions directed exclusively onto him or her or their environment methods.

Opis:: Degree of deacetylation (DD) is one of the main parameters characterizing chitosan. The most precise measurements of DD require sophisticated equipment (NMR spectrometer), not available at many laboratories worldwide working on chitosan. There is a need for low-cost, simple, yet sturdy and reliable methods and procedures for DD determination. The aim of this work was to test and compare – on the same set of chitosan samples - a few of the existing analytical techniques and provide recommendation for selecting DD determination methods. Tests were performed on four chitosans of nominal DD in the range 70 - 95%. Three different methods of titration, two different methods of spectroscopy UV / Vis and infrared spectroscopy using various calculation approaches were used. The results are summarized and compared with values obtained by 1H NMR, considered as the reference method. Moreover, evaluation of the ease of performance and availability of reagents in the given methods was performed. On that basis, recommendations for selection of DD determination methods were formulated.

Opis:: From a methodological point of view, the need to consider, in the synthetic methods, the assessment of enterprise’s financial standing, the criterion of the industrial specific features of the analyzed company and the changing economic conditions of its operation seems to be important . In this paper, an attempt has been made to present assumptions of few discriminatory, logit and banking methods to assess the financial standing of companies belonging to the building sector, taking into account the specifics of the industry. Critical reference has been made to numerous cases of simplifications and methodological errors that occur in the national literature on the subject.

Opis:: This article examines how the UNESCO International Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage (2003) is appropriated by the political and scientific bodies, which are responsible for organizing this inventory in their country with their own methodology (as UNESCO gives the liberty to choose the methodology for inventorying their intangible heritage). This reflection is based on the example of the inventorization of intangible cultural heritage coordinated in Aquitaine (France) since 2010, which highlights issues regarding researcher commitment, ethics, and the systemic view of cultural practices. In addition, the new digital collection tools are emphasized as „transcription of reality” and allow the recording, dissemination and valorisation of this heritage. Thus the modeling of intangible heritage inventorisation deserves to be explored in order to understand the heuristic issues surrounding these inventories, which are not only a simple application of a UNESCO legal instrument.

Opis:: The aim of the present study was to analyse the adequacy of hearing protection devices (HPDs) by applying and comparing different methods for the estimation of effective exposure levels. This comparison involved the attenuation data of 50 HPDs (ear muffs and ear plugs), as well as 11 types of noise spectra and 4 methods. The application of the several methods considered and the comparison of the obtained estimations seem to demonstrate that there are significant differences between effective exposure levels estimated with the different methods analysed.

Opis:: The main goal of this paper was to indicate the possible use of a specific model of e-learning for computer science teachers in Serbia. Taking this aim into account, the authors accurately indicated the subject of the proposed research: development of a model system for the implementation of e-learning for the level of higher education in Serbia for teachers, with a special emphasis on informatics education. This e-learning model indicates equal participation of major areas of information technology and pedagogy and teaching methodology, pedagogy, ICT and media. The proposed research subject is of high importance in the development of the education system in Serbia and as such is adapted to the needs of a knowledge society and to realize the scientific contribution to the subject area. This work represents a good starting point for further work and continuing research presented, referring to the concrete results of research by the author.
