Opis:: Images constituting the world of Google Street View most frequently represent order in urban public space. We use this application for directions and trip planning. But we can also look at Street View images differently. The author of the article analyzes creepypasta stories (anonymous short scary online legends posted on various message boards) that are happening in the visual world created by Google. The main objective is to describe elements creating the aesthetics of anxiety and strategies used to construct the experience of the uncanny in the world of Street View.

Opis:: Genetic genealogy is today an area that is significantly exploited in conspiracy narratives. Its results are included in the Christian narrative, acting strongly against this religion, concerning Germans or other nations/ethnic groups enemies, doing so in a moderate or radical form in reference to other para-scientific investigations and conspiracy narratives, or analyzing this issue separately. Due to the absence of sources about the distant past and questions that history or archeology cannot answer, those in need of an answer reach for genetic research, creating narratives more or less different from the official ones. Para-scientific reports and conspiracy theories have gained significant popularity. This manifests, on the one hand, the need for unequivocal answers concerning the past, in this case even the need to create the myth of the Polish nation – the legend about its great beginnings, and reveals the tendencies that become evident along with the development of the information society. The aim of the article is to analyze selected conspiracy threads inspired by the research of the genome of humanity, to present selected interpretations that use these results in para-scientific studies and finally to discuss their further functioning as part of folklore.
Genealogia genetyczna jest dziś dziedziną znacząco eksploatowaną w narracjach spiskowych. Jej wyniki są włączane do narracji chrześcijańskiej, występującej zdecydowanie przeciw tej religii, za wrogów przyjmującej Niemców lub inne narody/grupy etniczne, czynią to zaś w formie umiarkowanej lub też radykalnej, łącząc się z innymi dociekaniami paranaukowymi i narracjami spiskowymi lub analizując tę kwestię odrębnie. Wobec braku źródeł dotyczących odległej przeszłości i pytań, na które historia czy archeologia nie może odpowiedzieć, potrzebujący odpowiedzi sięgają właśnie po badania genetyków, tworząc mniej lub bardziej odmienne od oficjalnych narracje. Doniesienia paranaukowe i teorie spiskowe z nimi związane zyskały znaczącą popularność. Świadczy to z jednej strony o potrzebie jednoznacznych odpowiedzi na temat przeszłości, w tym wypadku wręcz potrzebie stworzenia mitu narodu polskiego – o jego wielkich prapoczątkach, jak i zdradza tendencje unaoczniające się wraz z rozwojem społeczeństwa informacyjnego. Celem artykułu jest analiza wybranych wątków spiskowych inspirowanych badaniami genomu ludzkości, a także prezentacja wybranych interpretacji wykorzystujących te wyniki w dociekaniach paranaukowych oraz dalszego ich funkcjonowania w ramach folkloru.
