Opis:: Artykuł pokazuje możliwości wykorzystania nowoczesnych technologii informacyjnych i komunikacyjnych w procesie kształcenia na przykładzie moderowania forum dyskusyjnego na platformie zdalnego nauczania. Autorka, korzystając z własnych doświadczeń oraz dokonując pewnego fenomenologicznego wglądu we własną praktykę, konstruuje pewne wskazówki praktyczne, pozwalające na aktywizowanie osób uczących się za pomocą prowadzenia dyskusji w wirtualnej przestrzeni. Poruszona problematyka dotyka zatem kwestii samego rozpoczęcia forum, jego celowości i przydatności, doboru tematu, postawienia pytań, radzenia sobie z pułapkami moderowania forum, aktywizowaniem jego uczestników, wreszcie kwestii zakończenia dyskusji. Taki sposób aktywnego aranżowania przestrzeni uczenia się oraz aktywizowania osób uczących się wpisuje się w paradygmatyczną zmianę dydaktyczną, opisaną formułą the shift from teaching to learning, którą to autorka rozszerza przez dodanie and e-learning.
The article presents the possibilities of using information and communication technologies in the teaching process on the example of moderating a discussion forum on an e-learning platform. The author, using her own experience and a phenomenological in-sight into her own practice, gives practical tips on how to activate persons learning by conducting a discussion in virtual space. The addressed issues comprise tips on the aims and usefulness of a forum; as well as on how to: start a forum, choose the topic, ask questions, deal with the traps of forum moderation, activate its participants, finally, en a discussion. Such a way of active arrangement of learning space and activation of lear ners fits in with the paradigmatic didactic change described by the formula the shift from teaching to learning, which the author of this article expands by adding and e-learning.

Opis:: E-forum is widely recognized to be an effective method of students' learning. Research on processes and phenomena in synchronous (SOD) and asynchronous (AOD) discussion at e-forum date back to the first years of the new Millennium and explore both the role and tasks of the moderator as well as complex preconditions of a productive and satisfying students' participation. The present article focusses on moderation of e-forum discussion and in particular, on two crucial and challenging moments in e-forum moderation: opening and closing. The co-authors of this paper have constructed their perspective on e-forum moderation upon analysis of the role of discussion in the teaching/learning process in face to face, e-learning, and b-learning settings. The final remarks and postulates follow conclusions from the original research study.

Opis:: Distance learning course Media in Education was carried out in the academic year 2012/2013 for full-time 61 students and 25 part-time students Polish Philology teaching specialties. Each student was required to put in the resources Power Point presentation and take one activity. It was treated as two hours of classes. Resources have been available to 17 students Library and Information Science, who were preparing to become teachers. Classes were held in a blended learning system, in addition to 10 hours of exercises for stationary cycle and 6 hours for part-time studies. Most undertaken were such activities as: forum, quiz, glossary of terms, rarely voting and chat. It turned out that the media competences are sufficient for students to participate in the e-course. Probably now some of them were able to conduct e-classes.

Opis:: The value of classes held through distance learning portals is not only determined by the quality of the learning resources that are produced, but also by the efficiency of the specific forms of communication, user interactions, and the diversity of students' and teachers' activities. Without carefully planned and properly used forms of communication, difficulties may emerge in the distance learning process. Participants of e-learning courses, particularly teachers, should become acquainted with the tools available in the given learning portal so as to be able to implement them successfully in the exchange of information, integration and motivation of the learners' community. The purpose of this article is to characterize certain selected, most commonly used synchronous and asynchronous communication tools available on e-learning portals and to identify the methods of employing them in a distance learning course. The authors, who have practical experience in distance learning in an academic context, aimed at directing the readers' attention to the frequently underestimated aspect of selecting the communication tools and methods for e-learning courses.
