The article deals with the pressing problem of test evaluation of students. The paper analyzes advantages and disadvantages of students’ knowledge test evaluation. Test evaluation of knowledge allows to create effective models of student assessment, using current approaches and facing challenges of studying foreign languages. Test control is used to set the level of achievement of academic groups and individual students, to analyze various forms and methods of teaching and hold final evaluation.

INTRODUCTION: Digitisation and implementation of IT solutions is contemporarily an intrinsic element while carrying out emergency medical activities. However, the system of education and evaluation of paramedics is conducted in a traditional way in Poland. The aim of the paper was to implement and critically evaluate the project of Emergency Medicine Exam conducted with the use of multimedia computer devices. MATERIAL AND METHODS: The undergraduates took part in a test consisting of fifteen questions concerning medical emergency activities conducted in a traditional (written) and interactive (computer) form. An original tool was developed and it enabled us to apply interactive tasks and centralize statistics. The achieved results underwent parametric tests (T-Student test, T – test for dependent samples with Pearson’s Correlation Coefficient) at significance coefficient of p<0,05. RESULTS: Average percentage results of both forms of the test including all the question categories indicated a statistically significant difference in the test with both samples for averages , where p=0,001 (59,09 % ± 12,16 vs 49,36 % ± 17,61). The number of people who did not succeed in passing the test at 51% passing point was 6 in the traditional test and 10 in the interactive one. Satisfaction analysis indicated the highest mark for detailed feedback (Me=5,95; from 1 to 6 scale). CONCLUSIONS: Multimedia computer devices may be efficiently used while implementing Emergency Medicine Exam. The evaluation of non-technical skills, thanks to the introduction of interactive tasks, enables a more detailed assessment of the competence of candidates for paramedics.
WSTĘP: Cyfryzacja i informatyzacja jest współcześnie nieodłącznym elementem podczas wykonywania medycznych czynności ratunkowych. Jednak system edukacji i ewaluacji ratowników medycznych w Polsce realizowany jest przeważnie w formie tradycyjnej. Celem pracy była implementacja i krytyczna ocena projektu Państwowego Egzaminu Ratownictwa Medycznego, prowadzonego przy użyciu multimedialnych urządzeń komputerowych. Dokonano analizy porównawczej dwóch form egzaminu: tradycyjnej (papierowej) oraz interaktywnej (komputerowej), pod względem satysfakcji uczestników oraz uzyskanych wyników. MATERIAŁ I METODY: TBadani uczestniczyli w teście złożonym z piętnastu zagadnień z zakresu medycznych czynności ratunkowych realizowanym w formie tradycyjnej (pisemnej) oraz interaktywnej (komputerowej). Opracowano autorskie narzędzie umożliwiające aplikację zadań interaktywnych oraz scentralizowaną statystykę. Uzyskane wyniki poddano testom parametrycznym (Test T-Studenta, TEST-T dla prób zależnych ze współczynnikiem Korelacji Pearsona), przy współczynniku istotności p<0,05. WYNIKI: Średnie procentowe wyniki obu form testów wykazały istotną statystycznie różnicę w teście z dwiema próbami dla średnich, gdzie p=0,001 (59,09 % ± 12,16 vs 49,36 % ± 17,61). Liczba osób, które nie zaliczyły egzaminu wg przyjętego progu 51% wyniosła 6 - test tradycyjny, vs. 10 – test interaktywny. W analizie satysfakcji najwyższą notę przyznano za dokładność informacji zwrotnej (Me=5,95; w skali od 1 do 6) WNIOSKI: Multimedialne urządzenia komputerowe mogą być skutecznie zastosowane przy wdrożeniu Państwowego Egzaminu Ratownictwa Medycznego. Ocena umiejętności nietechnicznych, dzięki implementacji zadań interaktywnych, umożliwia bardziej szczegółową ocenę kompetencji kandydatów na ratowników medycznych.

The Most Suitable Research Exception for Technological Progress: A Comparative study on patent regulations in the United States and Germany

The primary objective of the thesis is to analyse how research and experiment is an important exception to patent rights and how it promotes and fosters further research and development. Using a patented product or process for thorough research and experimentation without the patent holder’s permission is one of the critical exceptions limiting patent rights recognized in many states’ laws and jurisprudence. These exemption are a broader measure to ensure that intellectual property laws and practices serve development purposes and public policy goals. Inventors should be allowed to experiment with patented inventions or methods to freely develop better products or processes without fear of infringing the patent. This thesis aims to determine how the patent system can utilise research and experimental exemptions to promote technological and innovative advancement. The research seeks to address two main questions: first, whether the broad nature of research exemption demotivates inventors too patent their inventio,ns and second, whether the research exemption widens the scope for further research and development activities.

The described approach can be widely used especially in the current distance learning. The author assumes that there is also a chance for not only gifted students’ motivation support. Women in local politics. Case study of Strasbourg

In 2000, the introduction of parity disrupted the predominantly male political landscape subsequently forcing assemblies to become more feminised. However, this mass influx of laywomen has been largely instrumentalized as soon as the limits of the law's scope of application were exceeded. Twenty years after the first parity constraints were put in place, and at a time when certain institutions such as municipal councils were renewed four times, this dissertation reopens the question of the effects of the parity law on the local political level. For this reason in particular, a strong political area such as Strasbourg was chosen to be at the centre of this investigation. Furthermore, the fact that it is largely led by women provides great interest and enormous relevance to the purpose of this study. The problem is therefore as follows: to what extent does Strasbourg illustrate the strengths and limitations of the parity law regarding women in local politics? Additionally, what have been the effects on the city of such a legislative change? In order to answer the problematic, two research questions were developed. The first concerns the place given to women on Strasbourg's electoral lists. The second observes the post-election period which the law on parity no longer covers, by questioning the mandates allocated to women in councils. To deal with these issues, the methodological choice of the study focused on the use of prosopography. The creation of a database of over 300 individuals made it possible to approach the questions from different angles, whether in relation to age, experience, socio-professional categories or, for mandates, the treatment of salto and the distribution of portfolios. The analysis of the information thus made it possible to illustrate the situations in which Strasbourg stands as an example and those in which it illustrates the theories of the instrumentalisation of women.

In the proposed paper we have undertaken studies on the effectiveness of the original psychotherapeutic notions called the psychotherapy of capabilities. The aim of this paper is to indicate that the psychotherapy of capabilities brings effects in reducing the neurotic (anxiety) disorders.Methods. In the study, a random selection of a group was made in the number of 36 people (N=36), who were diagnosed, according to the ICD-10 qualification, anxiety type of disorders (a.F40 –anxiety disorders in the form of phobia (N=4); b. F41 –other anxiety disorders (N=19); c.F42 –obsessive-compulsive disorders (N=3); d. F45 –disorders occurring under the somatic form (N=36 including people with F40 and F41, F42 and F48); e. F48 –other neurotic disorders (N=9)). The N=36 group was divided into three N=12 groups, where 24 sessions of group psychotherapy were performed and 4 hours of individual therapy for each person during the study. At the beginning of psychotherapy, the measurement was performed using the OWK questionnaire (the “O” Symptomatic Questionnaire) and KON (Neurotic Personality Questionnaire). After its completion, the program participants were also subjected to the test with the mentioned questionnaires.
