Opis:: The paper is an attempt to determine the assumptions for the development of working conditions including the needs of people with disabilities and the elderly. The basis for the development of assumptions were the experiences in the field of analysis of working conditions, mainly in health units and shaping of public space through innovative non-discriminatory solutions. Three main areas have been presented in the article, in which the transfer of knowledge may be acquired during the study: the area of ergonomics (ERG), the area of accessibility of work space with the relation of freedom in mobility and safety (SPA), and the area of information availability (INF). The considerations included in the article apply in the concept of Design for All (DFA), which is the one of the pillars of European Union directives, entitled European act on the availability, being a respond to the demographic challenge by increasing participation in the labour market and society for all.

Opis:: The dynamically developing global IT infrastructure and the increasing importance of modern information technologies represent a huge challenge in the process of socialization and education of children and young people. Undoubtedly, it is extremely important to prepare current and future generations for a skillful use of modern technologies. Therefore, it is essential to implement new technologies in the teaching process at all levels of education as well as during preventive and therapeutic activities. This study analyzes the functioning of three institutions that use modern information technology within educational, preventive and therapeutic interventions. These institutions have been selected to be environmentally diverse, show the international context and demonstrate a different potential for ICT use. The main objective of the research was to identify innovative ways of using modern technologies in supporting educational and compensatory activities undertaken by selected institutions.

Opis:: The dynamism of changes occurring in the social-economic space determines need for the systematic development, understood as seeking innovative solutions. Given that 46% of the world population uses the Internet and the 31% declares that they are active users of social media, no rationally formulated corporate strategy can omit the potential of computer technologies. One of the advanced solutions which are successively adapted in the sector of banking services is virtual reality. It seems that every industry from video games developers to healthcare is looking for innovative ways to integrate some sort of virtual reality platform into their day-to-day systems. The aim of the article is the presentation of the concept of virtual reality in the context of banking. The article proves the implementation of VR in banking generates competitive advantage. Additionally, it presents various aspects of applications, market trends and forecasts of the subsequent development of this phenomenon. Moreover, there is an attempt to answer a question, whether virtual reality improves the effectiveness of the banking activity

Opis:: Modern technologies are an inseparable structure of modern human life. Nowadays, it is impossible to imagine existence without a phone, smartphone or computer. They are ubiquitous in work, play, social life and school education. Children are starting to use modern technologies more and more actively. This publication attempts to present the importance of modern technologies in remote work with students. Referring to the literature on the subject and relying on their own observations and experiences in working with students at a younger school age, an attempt was made to make the reader aware that modern methods and technological measures have a significant impact on the development and behavior of students from an early age of education. The significant role of the teacher in the entire didactic process was also indicated. The advantages and disadvantages of distance learning were also highlighted.

Tytuł:: Does students use the Polish university repositories for educational purposes : survey
Czy studenci korzystają z polskich repozytoriów uczelnianych w celach edukacyjnych : badania ankietowe

Opis:: This article presents the results of the survey on use the repositories by the polish students. The purpose was considered to look for answers to the questions whether the students use the repositories, if yes why and how, and if not, what is the reason of this. For this purpose the questionnaire consisting of the twelve questions was conducted. The results show that the most of the students does not use the repositories, or do not know about their existence. In the course of study, no one is talking about this, that they can use repositories. On the other hand, students who use repositories for educational purposes, generally well know how to use them. Through this research, it was discovered the educational gap that the students do not use a repositories because no one showed the students how to use them.

Opis:: Dokonano oceny zakresu korzystania przez rolników z Internetu, specjalistycznych programów komputerowych oraz technologii GPS. Większość badanych gospodarstw rolnych zlokalizowanych na terenie województwa zachodniopomorskiego wyposażonych jest w komputer (66,9%), a blisko co trzecie (28,3%) ma dostęp do Internet. Z systemu GPS korzysta 41,3% rolników. Rolnicy w niewielkim stopniu wykorzystują technologie informacyjne w praktyce rolniczej. Nie korzystają z programów komputerowych wspomagających podejmowanie decyzji przy produkcji rolniczej, wykorzystują Internet na ogół wyłącznie do śledzenia informacji rynkowych, a system GPS do pomiaru powierzchni pól.
The research allowed to assess the scope, in which farmers use the Internet, specialist computer applications, and GPS technology. Most of examined farms located within Zachodniopomorskie (West Pomeranian) Voivodship possess a computer (66.9%), and nearly one in three (28.3%) has access to the Internet. 41.3% of farmers use the GPS system. Farmers use information technologies in their farming practice to a small extent. They do not use computer applications supporting farm production decision-making process, and in general they use the Internet only to follow market information, and the GPS system to measure the area of their own fields.

Opis:: The rapid development of the IT industry is a fact. Digitalization co- vers practically all areas of enterprises and the full spectrum of their processes. IT systems are usually treated as a tool to achieve a specific goal, relatively rarely is there any talk of implementing IT systems as an element of strategic management. However, it should be borne in mind that, given the key impact on organisations, the implementation of an IT system should be treated as an important element of strategic planning. The literature on this subject is relatively modest, and the author target of this science work and publication has aimed to analyse to what extent the implementation of an IT system (and why) should be treated as part of strategic ma- nagement. The research problem presented in the paper was solved, among others, by a critical analysis of the literature concerning the area in question, in selected elements supported by an analysis of available statistical data.

Discussion Th e development of the world economy is greatly infl uenced by the dynamic development of the world market of information systems and technologies, as the introduction of new information systems and technologies makes it possible to increase the effi ciency of using enterprise resources, optimize business processes of production, facilitate the exchange of information, and much more. Th e use of information systems and technologies by enterprises in their work allows solving tasks from operational management to improving the eff ectiveness of making managerial decisions.
