There are electrochemical processes occurring on a metal object surface in seawater. As the result of these processes, one can observe an electric field in the object vicinity. The paper presents the method and measurement system that allows to locate the detected object and to identify parameters of its simplified model in form of a current dipole. The identify method is based on the matrix norm minimization. The matrix contains results of measurements and parameters of the object in request taken as the current dipole. The results of simulation and experimental detection of sea mines are given. The research results confirmed the effectiveness of the developed method.

Opis:
Introduction: Leaving a foreign object (retained surgical item, or RSI) during surgery involving the abdominal cavity and pelvis minor is a relatively frequent, underestimated phenomenon which is dangerous to the health of the patient and the legal security of the medical personnel. These adverse events are easy to avoid through the use of appropriate means of prevention. The aim of the present paper is the collection of epidemiological data and determination of risk factors, symptomatology, health effects, and prevention methods associated with RSIs. Material and methods: Analysis of global scientific publications in the databases PubMed, ClinicalKey, Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, and Scopus related to the subject of RSIs. Results: The frequency of RSI incidents ranges from 1 to 10 in 10,000 surgeries, which results in at least one case in an average multispeciality hospital on a yearly basis. The items most frequently left behind include soft foreign objects, such as swabs and bandages (90%). Risk factors include emergency surgical procedures, high patient BMI, significant loss of blood during surgery, and neglect in counting the material and surgical tools. The postoperative course, although in many cases asymptomatic, may be complicated by inflammation, bleeding, or perforation, leading to the necessity of a second operation and, in 2 to 4% of cases, even ending in death. Imaging tests are effective diagnostic tools. Effective methods of preventing RSIs are based on checklists and systems for counting and monitoring the location of material and tools. Conclusions: The globally occurring problem of RSIs requires education of the operating block personnel regarding risk factors and identification with elimination of adverse events of this type. Diagnostics based on imaging should take into account non-specific complaints resulting from a possible oligosymptomatic course. An RSI should not be regarded as a medical error. Changes in the perception of the phenomenon aim aimed at minimising the legal liability of the staff in the event of leaving a foreign object in a patient’s body.

Opis:
This paper dwells on an interesting contrast between Romance (Romanian, Spanish a.o.) and Germanic languages (English, German a.o.) with respect to the syntax and the interpretation of the direct object (DO). One structural difference between these two groups of languages amounts to the fact that the former clitic double (CD) and differentially object mark (DOM) their direct objects while the latter do not. This leads to important interpretive consequences when it comes to phenomena such as Subject-Object binding dependences: Non-CD languages rely on the c-command configuration and surface word order in resolving binding relations (the antecedent must c-command the element containing the bound pronoun. As a consequence, a natural way for the DO to bind into the Subject is to have it moved to the left, in a preceding, c-commanding position). As will be shown, in CD languages, the word order configuration is not decisive: the direct object may bind the subject without having to precede it at the same time. The paper draws a parametric difference between configurational languages (where binding is closely linked to the c-command configurations and is sensitive to surface word order) and non-configurational languages, where the same semantic properties can be derived from the internal structure of the direct object (through its featural specification).

The second part of the article proposes guideline to create executive model, describes basic interactions to object oriented approach and shows possibilities of creating a core of executable model in Java programming language. Annotations are used for executive model object extension. Reflection concept is used for model execution and synchronization provides extended Petri net formalism defined in [1]. The model has been tested on LFLC software package developed by IRAFM, University of Ostrava to prove the whole concept.

Opis:
Practical engineering education in space technology is a major challenge. TU Berlin has collected many years of experience in educating prospective space system engineers. With its history of developing and operating real space missions and its many ongoing research activities in the field, students are provided the opportunity to experience space technology. The Chair of Space Technology adresses the issue of innovative education constantly. Novel methods in hands-on education that arise through new technologies and trends are embedded into the curricula. A current project envisages the development of the autonomous planetary rover SEAR (Small Explora tion Assistant Rover) with students. With SEAR, TU Berlin will participate in the SpaceBot Cup, a planetary exploration competion aimed to push forward key technologies in space robotics. To comply with the strict development timeline of nine months, educational methods for efficient utilization of student’s ressources and provision of high-level education are applied.

Opis:
In industry and research, big data applications are gaining a lot of traction and space. Surveillance videos contribute significantly to big unlabelled data. The aim of visual surveillance is to understand and determine object behavior. It includes static and moving object detection, as well as video tracking to comprehend scene events. Object detection algorithms may be used to identify items in any video scene. Any video surveillance system faces a significant challenge in detecting moving objects and differentiating between objects with same shapes or features. The primary goal of this work is to provide an integrated framework for quick overview of video analysis utilizing deep learning algorithms to detect suspicious activity. In greater applications, the detection method is utilized to determine the region where items are available and the form of objects in each frame. This video analysis also aids in the attainment of security. Security may be characterized in a variety of ways, such as identifying theft or violation of covid protocols. The obtained results are encouraging and superior to existing solutions with 97% accuracy.

Opis:
Demand of high speed production not only increases the complexity of today's CNC process, but also increases the risks and possibility of collision because of the difference between real (machining) and virtual scenes (CAD/CAM process). Idea here is to make this process more intelligent by processing image taken from the real or virtual machine scenes. Identify objects (already known in the CAD database), obtain safe and efficient trajectories that will modify the previous known trajectories from the CAM systems and will be used finally in real machining environments. This work more focuses to improve trajectory generation, collision avoidance and communication in CAD/CAM systems by image processing technique. Safe and Efficient Trajectory (SET) algorithm for point trajectory is discussed along with its extended version for object trajectory known as Rectangular Enveloped object Safe and Efficient Trajectory (RESET) algorithm that will perfectly generate safe un-functional trajectories [3] for multi-axis machine tool envelop. Meanwhile scene objects are detected and identified by image processing tool while trajectory and setup is optimized and improved accordingly in order to avoid collision. This generated trajectory can be used for setup correction before and after production or for "real times/online" production. Finally work has been validated through real and virtual machine scene images.
