Subjective assessment of the student’s preparation for the profession of physiotherapy.

Opis:: Background: The studies of physiotherapy in recent years have become increasingly popular both in Poland and in Europe. Acknowledgment of this is not only a large number of candidates for this kind of study, but also the growing number of schools educating physiotherapists. Training in physiotherapy is performed in the two staged and universities with different learning profiles.Aim: Aim of this study was to investigate the extent to which students feel prepared to practice as a physiotherapist.Material and methods: The diagnostic poll method was used in order to collect the research material and as a research technique. The inquiry form constructed by the author was used as a diagnostic tool. The study included a total of 180 people, who are students of five Polish universities.Results: Physiotherapy is a female-dominated profession. Development courses are very popular among student’s, according to the respondents helps to increase the skills. Students claim that the practices that take place in a student well prepared for their future careers.Conclusions: Opinion of the surveyed students about the possible work independently is not clear. The shares of those who think they are ready for that, and those with the opposite view are comparable. In the opinion of the preparations for the occupation there is a difference between student’s first and second-degree studies.
Wstęp: Kierunek fizjoterapia w ostatnich latach staje się coraz bardziej popularny zarówno w Polsce jak i w Europie. Poświadczeniem tego jest nie tylko duża liczba kandydatów na ten kierunek studiów, ale również rosnąca liczba szkół kształcąca przyszłych fizjoterapeutów. Kształcenie na kierunku fizjoterapia odbywa się w systemie dwu stopniowym i na uczelniach o różnych profilach kształcenia. Cel: Celem pracy było poznanie, w jakim stopniu studenci czują się przygotowani do wykonywania zawodu fizjoterapeuty.Materiał i metody: Do zgromadzenia materiału badawczego posłużono się metodą sondażu diagnostycznego, jako technikę zastosowano ankietę, za narzędzie badawcze posłużył autorski kwestionariusz ankiety. Badaniem ankietyzacyjnym objęto łącznie 180 osób, będących studentami pięciu polskich uczelni wyższych.Wyniki: Fizjoterapia jest zawodem sfeminizowanym. Wśród studentów duża popularnością cieszą się dodatkowe kursy doszkalające, wg. ankietowanych uczestnictwo w takich kursach podnosi kwalifikacje zawodowe. Studenci twierdzą, że praktyki odbywające się w czasie studiów dobrze przygotowują do przyszłej pracy.Wnioski: Opinia przebadanych studentów w kwestii ewentualnego samodzielnego wykonywania pracy nie jest jednoznaczna. Udziały tych, którzy uważają, że są do tego gotowi oraz tych mających przeciwne zdanie są porównywalne. W ocenie przygotowania do wykonywanego zawodu istnieje różnica pomiędzy studentami stopni I i II studiów.

Opis:: The subject of this master is a communication competence as a key qualification. The aim is the detailed research and analysis of communication competence in study programs and its realization in exam tasks with expectations of employers.The work is divided into three parts. The first part describes the way to the theory of communication competence in three disciplines: linguistic, sociology and foreign language teaching. The second part gives a detailed description of guidelines in the learning standards and study programs. In the last part was conducted an analysis of the guidelines of subject “language practice” and job requirements with regard to communicative competence.
Der Gegenstand vorliegender Arbeit ist die kommunikative Kompetenz, als eine Schlüsselqualifikation. Das Ziel ist es, die kommunikative Kompetenz in den Studienprogrammen und Ausbildungsstandards, sowie ihre Realisierung in Prüfungsaufgaben mit den Anforderungen der Arbeitgeber zusammenzusetzen und zu analysieren. Die Arbeit gliedert sich in drei Teilen. Der erste Teil präsentiert den Weg zur Theorie der Kommunikationskompetenz in drei Disziplinen, nämlich Linguistik, Soziologie und Fremdsprachendidaktik. Im zweiten Teil werden die theoretischen Annahmen in Ausbildungsstandards und Studienprogrammen unter die Lupe genommen. Der letzte Teil veranschaulicht die Analyse der Annahmen und Anforderungen des Fachs Sprachpraxis, sowie seiner Prüfungsaufgaben und stellt eine Analyse der Erwartungen des Arbeitsmarktes hinsichtlich der kommunikativen Fähigkeiten dar, die aufgrund der Stellenanzeigen rekonstruiert wurden.
Przedmiotem pracy jest kompetencja komunikacyjna będąca kwalifikacją kluczową, zaś jej celem zestawienie i analiza kompetencji komunikacyjnej w teoretycznych założeniach standardów wymagań i jej realizacji w zadaniach egzaminacyjnych z wymaganiami pracodawcy. Praca składa się z trzech części. Część pierwsza prezentuje drogę do teorii kompetencji komunikacyjnej w trzech dziedzinach nauki: lingwistyce, socjologii i dydaktyce języków obcych. Część druga poświęcona jest standardom wymagań i założeniom programowym dla kierunku filologia germańska. W części trzeciej natomiast przedstawiona została analiza założeń programowych i wymagań egzaminacyjnych przedmiotu „Praktyczna Nauka Języka Niemieckiego” jak również analiza oczekiwań pracodawcy odnośnie kompetencji komunikacyjnej, zrekonstruowanych na podstawie ofert pracy.

Diagnoza politologii na Uniwersytecie Jagiellońskim w kontekście politologii polskiej i światowej od 1989 roku

Opis:: The paper presents an attempt to diagnose political science as a field of study. It includes a theoretical introduction to the discipline of political science.A condition of political science in the United States and Spain is considered, including curriculum and employment opportunities. Based on the results of the available graduates’ research, public statistical data and scientific literature, paper describes the state of political science in Poland - the interest in studying, educational offer available in the major centers of political science, and the opportunities of graduates in the labor market.A crucial part of the paper is diagnosis of political science at UJ, using data analysis tools, according to selected criteria: thematic specialization of professors, academic publications and educational offer. The paper contains results of the qualitative research on a sample of experts, conducted for this study. In addition, an analysis of the career opportunities of political science graduates’ from UJ is included, as well as their skills and competences.
Praca przedstawia próbę diagnozy politologii jako kierunku studiów. Zawarte jest teoretyczne wprowadzenie na temat dyscypliny nauk politycznych i kierunku studiów, jakim jest politologia. Rozpatrywana jest kondycja politologii w USA i Hiszpanii, w tym program nauczania i możliwości zatrudnienia. Opierając się o wyniki dostępnych badań absolwentów politologii, publiczne dane statystyczne oraz literaturę naukową, opisano stan politologii w Polsce – zainteresowanie studiami ze strony kandydatów, ofertę dydaktyczną dostępną w największych ośrodkach politologicznych, a także szanse absolwentów na rynku pracy.Kluczową część pracy stanowi diagnoza politologii na UJ za pomocą narzędzi analizy danych, wedle wybranych kryteriów: specjalizacji tematycznej kadry naukowej, publikacji naukowych oraz oferty dydaktycznej. Zawarte są także wyniki badania jakościowego na próbie eksperckiej, przeprowadzonego na potrzeby niniejszej pracy. Ponadto, przedstawiona została analiza losów absolwentów nauk politycznych UJ na rynku pracy, ich umiejętności i kompetencji.

Zawiera szczegółowy opis programów grantowych, procedury składania wniosków o dofinansowanie z Funduszu Wyszehradzkiego oraz nowo powstałego Wyszehradzkiego Programu Partnerstwa Wschodniego. W ostatnim rozdziale znajdują się informacje na temat programów dofinansowanych z Funduszu wspierających mobilność obywateli. Rozdział obejmuje charakterystykę Wyszehradzkich Programów Stypendialnych oraz Programów Rezydencji dla Artystów. This Master's thesis describes the functioning of the International Visegrad Fund, the only institution operating within the frame of the Visegrad Group. The aim of this study is to present the Visegrad Fund, its organizational structure, activities and checking its operation in practice. Thesis is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is concerned with the evolution of the Visegrad Group, describes the origins of its activities, the period of stagnating cooperation and the chance to restore cooperation, which at that time represented the Central European Free Trade Agreement (CEFTA). The second chapter covers the rebirth of Visegrad cooperation, the process of its integration into the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and the European Union. In the third chapter is presented a new way of the Visegrad Group after the entry into the European and Euro-Atlantic structures. The fourth chapter deals with the analysis of the International Visegrad Fund, describes the circumstances in which it was founded and the organizational structure of the institution. It contains a detailed description of the grant programs, procedures for submitting applications for funding from the Visegrad Fund and the newly established Visegrad Eastern Partnership Program. The last chapter contains information about the programs which were financed by the Fund to support the mobility of citizens. This chapter includes the characteristics of the Visegrad Scholarship Programs and Visegrad Artists Residency Programs. It presents some initiatives which have specific contribution to the region of Central - Eastern Europe. It explains the importance and success which the International Visegrad Fund brings.
