Nowoczesne technologie informatyczne są bronią obusieczną, bo z jednej strony dają ogromną przewagę taktyczną, ale z drugiej są źródłem wielu niebezpieczeństw. Dlatego projektując najbardziej skuteczne rozwiązania w zakresie bezpieczeństwa informatycznego, należy badać współczesne trendy oraz przewidywać możliwe scenariusze przyszłości Internetu i narzędzi internetowych, bo rozwiązania przystosowane do obecnych warunków mogą być nieskuteczne w przyszłości. Mają na to wpływ m.in. czynniki technologiczne związane z rozwojem sprzętu komputerowego czy oprogramowania, a także decyzje, współdziałanie oraz współzawodnictwo. Wyznaczonym w artykule celem badawczym jest wskazanie możliwych kierunków rozwoju dwóch technologii internetowych - Internetu Rzeczy i Rzeczywistości Rozszerzonej - oraz błędów popełnianych przy prognozowaniu ich przyszłości. Drugim celem badawczym jest rozpoznanie zagrożeń będących konsekwencją coraz częstszego i szerszego stosowania obu technologii.
Modern information technologies are double-edged weapons, because on the one hand, they provide a huge tactical advantage, but on the other, they are a source of many dangers. Therefore, when designing the most effective solutions in the field of IT security, one should examine contemporary trends and anticipate possible scenarios concerning the future of the Internet and online tools, because solutions suited to the current conditions may be ineffective in the future. This is due not only to technological factors related to the development of computer hardware or software, but also to decisions, cooperation and competition. It is impossible to specify all the factors that will determine the future of the Internet. Therefore, the author's intention is to pay attention to only a few, subjectively selected tendencies. The aim of the article is indicating the possible directions of development of two Internet technologies - the Internet of Things and Augmented Reality, and analysing possible mistakes that could be made in the process. The second research goal is to identify threats that are a consequence of the more frequent and wider use of both technologies.

The purpose of this article is to determine the influence of the internet on human memory. The author tries to answer the question of how the extensive use of the Internet can determine the process of remembering. The author treats the dominant medium of the digital age as an external database, which frees us from the process of remembering, because we rely on an external resource, which can be reached at any time. At the same time it is pointed out that the perception of the process of lowering the efficiency and effectiveness of our mind, is not a precedent, because in the past these concerns were articulated about each new medium.
Celem artykułu jest określenie wpływu Internetu na procesy pamięciowe. Autorka stara się udzielić odpowiedzi na pytanie, jak intensywne korzystanie z Internetu może determinować proces zapamiętywania. Dominujące medium epoki cyfrowej traktuje autorka jak zewnętrzny bank danych, który zwalnia nas z procesu zapamiętywania, gdyż polegamy na zewnętrznym zasobie, do którego w dowolnej chwili można sięgnąć. Jednocześnie zwraca uwagę, iż dostrzeganie procesu obniżania się sprawności i efektywności naszego umysłu nie ma charakteru precedensowego, gdyż w przeszłości tego typu obawy były artykułowane wobec każdego nowego medium.

Po pierwsze ekonomiczna: jak ochronić ich przeżycie, które zależy od finansów? Etyczna: jak zagwarantować w sieci sprawdzoną, wartościową informację? Polityczna: jak zapewnić równy dostęp do pełnej, wiarygodnej i pluralistycznej informacji, będącej głównym filarem demokracji? Prezentowany artykuł poddaje analizie odpowiedzi na postawione w nim pytania zawarte w dziennikach zachodnich demokracji, głównie amerykańskich.
Since 1995, along with the rise of the Internet, traditional daily papers have been experiencing a real revolution. There are three stakes in this game. The first is economic: how to ensure their survival, which is dependent on finances? The second is ethical: how to guarantee proven valuable information in the net? The third is political: how to ensure equal access to complete, reliable, and pluralistic information, which is the main pillar of democracy? This article offers an analysis of answers to those questions, contained in the newspapers of the Western democracies, particularly the American press.

Affective-emotional profiles of students who abuse the Internet vs sporadically use the Internet
Profile afektywno-emocjonalne uczniów nadużywających vs sporadycznie używających internetu

The Internet Addiction Test (IAD) by K. Young, Internet Attitudes Survey by E. Weiser along with K. Mudyńs Feelings Reality Inventory were administered to 151 students at age 15-19. According to IAD results three groups of the Internet users were distinguished: sporadic, moderate, and overusing. It was established that girls who are overusing the Internet gained lower scores than girls identified as sporadic users in two factors grouping specific positive feelings. In turn, boys overusing the Internet scored higher in the factor „It was not Ok". The group of the over-users also had lower results in a case of non-specific, positive emotions such as enthusiasm, satisfaction or internal calmness in comparison with the sporadic users. In addition, among the female participants, positive correlations between the intensity of using the Internet and number of siblings (r=0,37; p<0,001) and birth order (r=0,30; p<0,01) were noticed.
