Opis:: The article focuses on the topic of psychomotor development of children attending forest kindergartens. Other authors’ research findings, showing the influence of nature on the functioning of children, were presented as a background and a reference point to the results of my own research. The research carried out in the Czech Republic and Germany, whose results indicate the development of children from local forest kindergartens, are presented in greater detail. The central part of the article is the presentation of the resultsof own research concerning the psychomotor development of children attending forest kindergartens in Poland. The research demonstrates that children who attend the said forest kindergartens vary in terms of their psychomotor development, however, in most cases their development does not deviate from the indicative norm. Therefore, forest kindergartens create conditions for children’s proper psychomotor development.
Artykuł koncentruje się wokół tematu rozwoju psychoruchowego dzieci uczęszczających do leśnych przedszkoli. Jako tło i punkt odniesienia do wyników badań własnych zostały zaprezentowane wyniki badań innych autorów, ukazujące wpływ przyrody na funkcjonowanie dzieci. Szerzej przedstawiono wyniki badań przeprowadzonych w Czechach i Niemczech, ukazujących rozwój dzieci z tamtejszych leśnych przedszkoli. Centralną część tekstu stanowi prezentacja wyników badań własnych, dotyczących rozwoju psychoruchowego dzieci uczęszczających do leśnych przedszkoli w Polsce. Z badań wynika, że dzieci uczęszczające do leśnych przedszkoli w Polsce, które zostały objęte badaniem, są zróżnicowane pod względem rozwoju psychoruchowego, jednak w większości przypadków ich rozwój nie odbiega od orientacyjnej normy. Leśne przedszkola stwarzają warunki do prawidłowego rozwoju psychoruchowego dzieci.

Opis:: The aim of the following study is to analyze the composition of the main directions of public intervention in relation to rural areas. In the following work, the author tried to answer the following research questions: How is rural development defined? What are the most important paradigms of rural development and what are their characteristics? How have the directions of public intervention changed in relation to the countryside? What is the importance of agriculture for rural development? What are the functions of rural areas? What are the assumptions of the nascent paradigm of smart rural development? Literature review allowed to indicate the main concepts of rural development, which are: agricultural development, multifunctional development of agriculture, multifunctional rural development, sustainable rural development, integrated rural development and smart rural development. In the articles the main assumptions of the indicated concept were indicated. The new concept of rural development – smart rural development – is based in many parts on old concepts but figured that implementation of new technologies and ICT in economic, social and environmental sphere is necessary if the rural area want to develop.

Opis:: The article looks into the process of the creation of development discourse in Turkey and its consequences on the field. In the first section of the article, amusing anectodes are given from 1990s during which this process unfolded and gave way to a “project industry” with the EU accession period in Turkey. The focus of the second part is on the evaluation of paradigm shift towards “human development”. Evaulation methods of development projects, numbers, statistics, indexes in this paradigm are critically interpreted. In the last part, field cases from Kavar Region, east of Turkey, are given in order to find answers to questions like what development means for Kavar and the relationship between happiness, dignity and development.

Opis:: Perspective of socio-economic development depends on many factors, mainly the the respective structural and systemic changes, and the proper use of resources. Opis:: Subject and purpose of work: This paper discusses the essence and main areas of conditions of local development in the context of the political transformations which have occurred in Poland over the last thirty years. Against this background, an attempt was made to differentiate between the conditions and factors of local development. The purpose of this work is to seek, considering different ways of defining local development and as part of different developmental models, a distinction and consistency between the essence of the concept of “conditions of development” and the concept of “factors of development” and to indicate the universality of general conditions for development at all levels of a country’s territorial division. Materials and methods: This paper draws on the author’s own thoughts and a critical analysis of the literature on the subject, as well as documents relating to the practical shaping of the strategy and development policy in Poland. It presents the basic ways of defining local development and the model approach to development processes and characterises the main conditions of Poland’s socio-economic development over the last thirty years. Results: It was determined that in the literature conditions of development are often identified with factors of development, which is not justified. It was determined that conditions constitute a certain potential which determines the possibilities for the progress of developmental processes, whereas granting a driving force to these possibilities transforms them into developmental factors for a given area. The general conditions of a country’s development also define the conditions of development at the lower levels of territorial division. Conclusions: In the context of the growing role of local development programming and planning, it is important to differentiate between the concepts of “conditions” and “factors” of local development. Local development is shaped by both the overall conditions and factors of development of a country, and the specific local conditions and factors. The effective implementation of local development programmes and strategies requires the skill to convert development conditions into factors.
Przedmiot i cel pracy: Przedmiotem pracy jest przedstawienie istoty i głównych obszarów uwarunkowań rozwoju lokalnego w kontekście przemian systemowych ostatniego trzydziestolecia w Polsce. Na tym tle podjęto próbę rozróżnienia między warunkami i czynnikami rozwoju lokalnego. Celem pracy jest poszukiwanie, przy różnym sposobie definiowania rozwoju lokalnego i w ramach rożnych modeli rozwojowych, rozgraniczenia i spójności między istotą pojęcia „uwarunkowania rozwoju” i pojęcia „czynniki rozwoju” oraz wskazanie na uniwersalność uwarunkowań ogólnych dla rozwoju na wszystkich szczeblach podziału terytorialnego kraju. Materiały i metody: W pracy wykorzystano własne przemyślenia oraz krytyczną analizę literatury problemu badań oraz dokumentów odnoszących się do praktycznego kształtowania strategii i polityki rozwoju w Polsce. Zaprezentowano podstawowe sposoby definiowania rozwoju lokalnego i modelowego ujęcia procesów rozwojowych oraz scharakteryzowano główne uwarunkowania rozwoju społeczno-gospodarczego Polski w ostatnim trzydziestoleciu. Wyniki: Stwierdzono, że w literaturze uwarunkowania są często utożsamiane z czynnikami rozwoju co jest praktyką nieuzasadnioną. Ustalono, że istotą pojęcia uwarunkowanie jest potencjał określający możliwości dla przebiegu procesów rozwojowych, natomiast nadanie siły sprawczej tym możliwościom przekształca je w czynniki rozwoju dla danego obszaru. Ogólne uwarunkowania rozwoju kraju określają jednocześnie warunki rozwoju na niższych szczeblach podziału terytorialnego. Wnioski: W warunkach zwiększania się roli programowania i planowania rozwoju lokalnego ważne znaczenie ma rozróżnienie istoty między pojęciami „uwarunkowania” i „czynniki” rozwoju lokalnego. Dla rozwoju lokalnego istotne znaczenie mają zarówno ogólne uwarunkowania i czynniki rozwoju kraju jak też specyficzne uwarunkowania i czynniki lokalne. Skuteczne realizowanie programów i strategii rozwoju lokalnego wymaga umiejętności przekształcania uwarunkowań w czynniki rozwoju.

Opis:: Disproportions of economic, social and environmental in the development of rural areas occur at every level of an administrative division of a country. These disproportions are applicable to the actions which are and should be taken not only to better the economic situation of rural areas, but to increase the standard of living for the villagers as well. The aim of this article is both to identify and to evaluate the infl uence of factors which characterize the level of socio-economic development of environmental sustainability of rural communes in Małopolska Province. Analyses are based on multiple regression model which represents the approach used by Classical Statistics Analysis (enables the observation of the correlation between multi dimensional structures). Research embraces 125 rural communes, with the exception of urban and urban-rural communes, in Małopolska Province. The conducted researches demonstrate that factors of economic nature, particularly the size of own incomes of a commune and means of EU project fi nancing, exert the most powerful infl uence on the level of environmental sustainability of the researched rural communes.
Dysproporcje poziomu rozwoju obszarów wiejskich w ujęciu jego trzech wymiarów, tj. gospodarczego, społecznego i środowiskowego występują na każdym szczeblu podziału administracyjnego kraju. Dotyczą one m.in. zakresu działań jakie są i powinny być podejmowane w celu poprawy sytuacji gospodarczej obszarów wiejskich oraz jakości życia mieszkańców wsi, przy zachowaniu racjonalności wykorzystania zasobów środowiska przyrodniczego. Celem opracowania jest więc próba identyfi kacji oraz oceny wpływu czynników charakteryzujących poziom rozwoju społeczno-gospodarczego na zrównoważenie środowiskowe gmin wiejskich województwa małopolskiego. Do przeprowadzenia analiz posłużyła metoda regresji wielorakiej reprezentująca podejście oparte na metodzie klasycznej analizy statystycznej (z ang. Classical Statistics Analysis), pozwalającej na obserwację zależności struktur wielowymiarowych. Badaniami objęto 125 gmin województwa małopolskiego o statusie wiejskim. Uzyskane wyniki wykazały, że największy wpływ na poziom zrównoważenia rozwoju badanych gmin wiejskich w wymiarze środowiskowym mają głównie czynniki natury ekonomicznej, w tym szczególnie wielkość ich dochodów własnych oraz rozmiar środków pozyskanych na fi nansowanie projektów UE.

Opis:: Depopulation, deruralization and deagrarization have greatly contributed to the reduction of economic resources of the agricultural areas Montenegro, which has resulted in significant impact on rural areas. It is particularly important in less developed rural area of that changes have an important role in agricultural and rural development, since the possibilities for development are not used in the right way. Family agricultural holdings and business entities in „ 2010 have 221.297.6 ha of total utilized land. There is a rather low number of holdings whose size varies between 100 ha or more, only 425 of them or 0.87 % in comparison to the total available land. At family agricultural holdings, 23.198 working persons are 65 or older, which comprises 23.5 % of the total labor force, while the share of people under 24 years is declining, comprising 6.83 % rural areas in Montenegro “have significant development potentials owing to its geographical, climatic, and natural features. This is a necessary but not a sufficient condition. Integral development of rural areas Montenegro should be based on the following elements: multifunctional agriculture, diversification of economic activities in rural environment, rural and eco tourism, organic food production, small and medium - sized enterprises, and cooperation between small and medium producers. Conclusion the text confirms the hypothesis and suggests a need of many changes in the structure and organization of the agricultural and rural sector in Montenegro, as well as the necessity of establishing the legal, institutional and budgetary framework.

Opis:: Large scale timber construction has been on the upswing for some time in many European countries. Besides the building cluster, also regions and cities have taken advantage of the ongoing timber boom in their economic and spatial development. In this article the focus is on the South Ostrobothnia region and the city of Seinäjoki in Western Finland, where the potential of the business is quite weakly exploited regardless of favourable preconditions. By studying the key actors of the innovation network we are able to better understand the premises of the local development platform that should aim at boosting timber construction.
