Opis:: In the elaboration, levels of supply voltage at the ends of loaded low-voltage lines were statistically evaluated, describing them using basic statistical measures and examining the frequency distributions. Levels of voltages and time of their occurrence on the background of current regulations were also assessed. It was found out that in spite of the fulfilment of statutory requirements electricity consumers complained about the poor, in their opinion, quality of the voltage.

Opis:: W pracy omówiono podstawowe akty prawne określające warunki przyłączania i pracy mikroźródeł w sieci rozdzielczej niskiego napięcia. Podano kryteria przyłączania mikroźródeł stosowane w Polsce i w innych krajach europejskich oraz wymagania stosownych norm i praktyczne sposoby oceny wpływu mikroźródeł na jakość energii.
Connection of microgenerators to the low voltage network affects the electrical energy quality. In the paper, the basic relationships have been led out to compute voltage deviations and fluctuations. The basic criteria of microgeneration connecting to low voltage network have been given. The valid rules and practices applied in Europe and Poland have been described.

Opis:: In this paper it is presented a balun LNA, with voltage gain control that combines a common-gate and common-source stage, in which transistors biased in triode region replace the resistive loads. This last approach in conjunction with a dynamic threshold reduction technique allows a low supply voltage operation. Furthermore, a signiﬁcant chip area reduction can be exploited by adopting an inductor-less configuration. Simulations results with a 130 nm CMOS technology show that the gain is up to 19.3 dB and the NF is below 2.3 dB. The total dissipation is 4 mW, leading to an FOM of 2.26 for 0.6 V supply.

Opis:: This paper presents a new high performance Bulk-Driven current differencing transconductance amplifier (BD-CDTA), a recently reported active element, especially suitable for analog signal processing applications. The proposed BD-CDTA provides high output impedances at port Z and X, excellent input/output current tracking. The proposed BD-CDTA circuit operates at supply voltages of ± 0.6V. PSPICE simulation results using TSMC 0.18 μm CMOS process model are included to verify the expected values.

Opis:: Operational Transconductance Amplifier (OTA) is one of the most significant building-blocks in integrated continuous-time filters. Here we design Low Power Low Voltage Bulk Driven OTA with a new concept of high-linearity OTA with controllable Transconductance is proposed. The OTA is simulated in a standard TSMC 0.18 mm CMOS process with a 0.6 V supply voltage.

Opis:: Przyłączanie do sieci niskiego napięcia 1- fazowych mikrogeneratorów powoduje wzrost asymetrii napięcia definiowanej jako stosunek wartości skutecznej składowej symetrycznej przeciwnej napięcia do składowej symetrycznej zgodnej. W pracy przedstawiono model matematyczny pozwalający wyznaczać współczynnik asymetrii napięć w oparciu o analityczne rozwiązanie równań węzłowych rozpływu mocy.
Connection of one phase microgenerator to the low voltage network makes the increase of voltage asymmetry. The voltage asymmetry is defined as the quotient of negative and positive voltage components. The mathematical background of exact calculation of the asymmetry quotient are presented in the paper.

Opis:: The decisive source of air pollution emissions in ports is the berthed ships. This is primarily caused by the work of ship’s autonomous generator sets. One way of reducing the air pollution emissions in ports is the supply of ships from electricity inland system. The main problem connected with the power connection of ships to the inland network is caused by different values of levels and frequencies of voltages in these networks (in various countries) in relation to different values of levels and frequencies of voltages present in the ship’s network. It is also important that the source power can range from a few hundred kW up to several MW. In order to realize a universal „Shore to Ship” system that allows the connection of ships to the electricity inland network, the international standardization is necessary. This article presents the current recommendations, standards and regulations for the design of „Shore to Ship” systems.

Opis:: This paper presents and discusses results of analysis and investigations of arc to glow transformation phenomenon at contact opening, under DC inductive loads of low power (≤10 J) and low voltage (≤250 V). The proportion in duration of arcing and glowing is investigated in dependence on current and voltage value, contact material properties. The transition phenomenon is analyzed by means of fast photography and emission spectroscopy to complete the study. On the basis of investigated results the conclusions about the possibility of control of the arc to glow transformation for practical use in DC low voltage and low power electrical grids are formulated.

Opis:: The paper presents quarter-square analog four-quadrant multipliers, based on proprietary architecture using four CMOS inverters. The most important upgrade on already published own circuit implementation is the use of the same inverter "core" of the circuit with completely redesigned auxiliary and steering blocks. Two variants of new driving peripherals are considered: one with differential pair, the second with CMOS inverters. The proposed circuit solutions are suitable for RF applications in communication systems due to simple architecture comprising building blocks with RF CMOS transistors having sufficiently large biasing currents. Postlayout simulation results done on the basis of 180nm CMOS UMC Foundry Design Kit are also presented.
