Opis:: Artykuł przedstawia analizę staroangielskiej zmiany językowej ‘Breaking’ z punktu widzenia teorii fonologii rządu w ujęciu Scheera (2004). Najistotniejszym elementem przedstawionej analizy jest założenie, że staroangielski ‘Breaking’ to zmiana, która zachodziła w wyniku uniwersalnego osłabiania spółgłosek znajdujących się w wygłosie sylaby (czyli, w przyjętym modelu, bezpośrednio przed nielicencjonowaną i nierządzoną pustą pozycją samogłoskową). W rezultacie tego osłabiania następuje dzielenie elementów melodii pomiędzy spółgłoską i samogłoską, co w rezultacie wpływa na modyfikację samogłoski.

Opis:: A new method based on the measurement of force required to break by bending a vertical column of consolidated powder was elaborated, and its results were compared with the ones obtained from the Jenike shear test. A new apparatus was built based on a vertical cylindrical chamber divided into two cylinders connected with a horizontal hinge. The apparatus was tested with samples of potato, maize and wheat starches with moisture content of 6, 12 and 17% and with the addition of a lubricant. Results of testing revealed significant differences in measured force required to rotate the upper part of the cylinder away from the lower one. The average force varied from 0.138 N for maize starch to 0.143 N for potato starch, while, for various moisture contents, the measured force varied from 0.135 N for 6% to 0.143 N for 17% mc. The results were compared with the results of a direct shear test.

Opis:: This article presents the experience from the first stage of the optimization tests of an automatic machine for breaking oversized lumps. The tests took place between December 2017 and March 2018 at the O/ZG Polkowice-Sieroszowice mine. The URB/ZS-3 automatic machine was developed as part of the second competition of a joint venture financed by NCBR and KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. under the name of CuBR. The adopted methodology of carrying out the operational tests of the URB/ZS-3 machine was discussed, which had to take into account the specific requirements and operating conditions of the mining department in the Polkowice-Sieroszowice mine. The reference point for evaluating the effectiveness of the new solution was the cleaning times of the grate by a machine working in remote mode. The results of clearing the grate of excavated materials by a machine working in automatic mode were presented for various algorithms and scenarios included in the control software. The influence of the degree of ore fragmentation (including the number of oversized lumps) on the time of the grate cleaning was taken into account. The influence of the changes introduced in this software on the obtained grate discharge times was initially evaluated. The article also presents the impact of loading the grate with the use of loaders and haul trucks on the effectiveness of the automatic machine for breaking oversized lumps. Also, the driver elements of the machine were assessed in terms of their reliability, and the directions for possible structural changes were proposed. In conclusion, the directions for further activities aimed at optimizing the machine and increasing its efficiency and reliability were proposed.

Opis:: The purpose of this article is to present the phenomenon of silence in an organization. Silence is understood as a decision not to speak out in the face of irregularities in an organization or a need for improvements in that organization. Two types of silence are considered: silence as an effect of socially shared beliefs and silence as a tactic. In the article I also consider the issue of breaking the silence. The postulate of breaking the silence is consistent with the assignment of value to the involvement of the employee in the decision making process. Silence limits participation, creativity, and the multiplicity of voices and hinders changes in the organization.

Opis:: Strength and elongation have a great effect on slub yarn performance in production and usage. The main aim of this study is to determine the statistically significant descriptive parameters that have an effect on the breaking force and elongation of slub yarn using the full factorial design method. In addition, the effects of the significant parameters on the breaking force and elongation were investigated. Slub yarn samples were produced by using a ring spinning frame on which an original slub attachment was designed and mounted. After the samples were produced, dimensional measurements and image analysis were made. Then quality tests were applied to all samples and the results analysed. As a result, the parameters that have an effect on the breaking force of the slub yarn samples were obtained as the slub length, slub distance and base yarn count. The parameters affecting the breaking elongation of the slub yarn samples were obtained as the slub multiplier, base yarn count and twist coefficient. The relationship between the breaking force and elongation and the parameters selected have been explained by statistically significant regression equations. It is concluded that slub pattern parameters should also be considered for slub yarn performance.
Siła i wydłużenie w dużym stopniu wpływają na przebieg procesu produkcji i zastosowanie przędz fantazyjnych typu flamy. Głównym celem jest określenie wpływu parametrów geometrycznych na siłę zrywania i wydłużenie przędz, które wyprodukowano na przędzarce obrączkowej z dodatkową przystawką umożliwiająca produkcję przędz fantazyjnych. Parametry geometryczne określono za pomocą analizy obrazu, a następnie przeprowadzono testy wytrzymałościowe. Oceniono wpływ poszczególnych parametrów, takich jak: długość części napuszonej, odległość pomiędzy zaburzeniami i masę liniową przędzy podstawowej. Na wydłużenie przy zerwaniu wpływają wszystkie trzy parametry przędzy. Wyniki sprawdzono za pomocą analizy statystycznej.

Opis:: The article analyses the effects of paper moisture content on energy absorbed during its tensile testing in the range of moisture equilibrium obtained during paper air conditioning at a temperature of 23 °C. To predict changes in breaking energy caused by changes in moisture content, two calculation methods were proposed. The methods were verified on the basis of laboratory tests and calculation results, and their practical usefulness was confirmed.
W artykule analizowano wpływ wilgotności papieru na energię pochłanianą podczas jego rozciągania w zakresie wilgotności równowagowych uzyskiwanych podczas klimatyzowania papierów w powietrzu o temperaturze 23 °C. Aby umożliwić przewidywanie zmian wartości pracy zrywania wywołanych zmianami wilgotności zaproponowano dwie metody jej obliczania. Na podstawie wyników pomiarów laboratoryjnych oraz wyników obliczeń dokonano weryfikacji zaproponowanych metod i potwierdzono ich praktyczną przydatność.

Opis:: This paper presents the notion of taboo in the context of a social phenomenon identified with a strong exclusion that simultaneously binds nature and culture. Trying to define it, you can say that taboos are not just what cannot be named, what cannot be done, but also what cannot be thought of. This term is connected with a strong ban and fear. Sexual life, along with all its forms, ranging from debauchery to restraint, from promiscuity to asceticism, from what falls within a norm to pathology, connected with such topics as eroticism and procreation, is an ambiguous, shameful and hidden area of human experience. Sexuality is the source of elementary human shame. It is sometimes impure because it is related to the lower half of the body, it is sometimes violent, it may cause disorder, fighting, jealousy. On the other hand, however, it is perceived in terms of procreation as a lofty act of giving life. All manifestations of sexuality have become a taboo. This paper discusses potential breaking of sexuality taboos in the social context.

Dodatkowo postawy niektórych bohaterów serialu zostały poddane analizie, doszukując się motywów ich działania lub ukrytych słabości. Dla autorki ważna jest również kwestia fenomenu popularności serialu, dlatego też stara się przyjrzeć mu bliżej w niniejszej pracy.

In his scientist work, the author is focusing on the presence of drugs in the tv series: as addiction some characters, and business which the main character earns the money, Also the attitude of some hero in tv series come analysed searching for the motives or hidden weakness. Opis:: Wraz ze wzrostem liczby tramwajów i trolejbusów wyposażonych w hamowanie odzyskowe, wzrasta popularność urządzeń zwiększających efektywność odzysku energii. W artykule przedstawiono koncepcję rozwiązania prostszego, tańszego i łatwiejszego do praktycznej implementacji: wykorzystania energii odzysku dla zasilania potrzeb nietrakcyjnych, takich jak obiekty użyteczności publicznej lub aparatura dodatkowa związana z infrastrukturą komunikacyjną. W takim układzie, wykorzystanie energii rekuperacji może się odbywać wewnątrz przedsiębiorstwa na poziomie niskiego napięcia, co w znaczny sposób upraszcza aspekty prawno-techniczne.
With the increase in the number of trams and trolleybuses equipped with regenerative braking, the popularity of equipment for breaking energy utilization has increased. Mostly they are supercapacitors energy storage systems and inverter stations to return energy to the AC network. However, the high price of these devices and legal and organizational problems constitute a significant barrier to their widespread popularization. The paper presents the concept of a simpler, cheaper and easier to implement implementation: the use of recovery energy for non-traction needs, such as public utilities buildings or non traction transport devices. In this arrangement, the use of recuperative energy can be made inside the enterprise at low voltage level, which significantly simplifies the legal and technical aspects.
