Opis:: The roles of women and men in society are often dependent on gender. The rules of social life are shaped culture, religion, or stereotypes. Clearly noticed the impact of stereotypes on the perception of women and men in society. Schematic perception of men and women is accompanied by mankind ever since. Unfortunately, they have a significant negative impact on the perception of women in society and in the workplace. Women are perceived as being weak, fragile, who can not make important and sometimes risky decisions. Such perception of women means that they have limited access to managerial positions.

Opis:: The article presents the main functionalities and principles for operating a software for multi-robotic mission coordination developed for competitions ERL Emergency Robots 2017, as well as its adaptation during University Rover Challenge. We have started with an overview of similar software used in commercial applications or developed by other research groups. Then, our solution is thoroughly described, with its user interface made in LabVIEW and the communication layer based on ROS software. Two cases of robotic competitions proved our software to be useful both for planning and for managing the mission. The system supports the operator in teleoperation and during partial autonomy of the robots. It offers reporting on the robots’ positions, Points of Interest (POI), tasks status. Reports are generated in KML/KMZ formats, and allow us to replay the mission, and analyze it.

Opis:: The development of IT and its rising usage in economy have influence on changes in enterprises. They influence the functioning of company and make its management easier. IT tools are inevitable in cost, communication, knowledge or human resources management. However, not every company decides to invest in individually designed systems not only because of the excessive financial outlays, but also the cost of service. This paper shows the use of Visual Basic, high level programming language in the process of recruitment and selection of employees at IEG LLC.

Opis:: In his epistles, St. Paul frequently makes use of athletic imagery, both in relation to sport in general and to specific athletic disciplines (running, boxing, wrestling, gymnastics). However, the use of athletic themes is not an aim in and of itself for St. Paul, but rather it is intended to give specific guidelines to his audience. An exegetic analysis shows that the Apostle to the Nations compares his life and that of other Christians to athletic competitions. The field of these competitions is the way of faith in Jesus in which there are numerous difficulties and obstacles. Hence, the Christian as an athlete who wants to experience eternal life should be persistent, ascetic, practice virtues and prayer, and, most important, his or her task is to have a close relationship with God and the community of believers.
Św. Paweł w swoich Listach wielokrotnie używa obrazów sportowych, i to zarówno odnoszących się do sportu w ogólności, jak i do jego poszczególnych dyscyplin (biegi, boks, zapasy, ćwiczenia gimnastyczne). Jednak wykorzystanie tematyki sportowej nie jest dla niego celem samym w sobie, lecz ma za zadanie przekazanie adresatom konkretnych wskazówek. Przeprowadzone analizy egzegetyczne pokazują, że Apostoł Narodów porównuje życie swoje i innych chrześcijan do zmagań sportowych. Terenem tych zawodów jest droga wiary w Jezusa, na której pojawiają się liczne trudności i przeciwności. Dlatego sportowiec-chrześcijanin, chcący zdobyć nagrodę życia wiecznego, powinien się cechować m.in. wytrwałością, ascezą, praktykowaniem cnót i modlitwy, a co najważniejsze, jego zadaniem jest staranie się o jak najlepszą relację z Bogiem i wspólnotą wierzących.

Opis:: Zmienność współczesnego, postmodernistycznego świata jest przyczyną wielu trudności doświadczanych przez dzisiejszych dorosłych studentów. Artykuł jest próbą przyjrzenia się ich aktywności edukacyjnej na przykładzie dorosłych studentów pedagogiki dwóch wyższych uczelni. Changeability of contemporary, postmodern world is a reason of many problems of present adult students. This article is an attempt to look at the educational activity adult education students on the example of students of two high schools. It’s an attempt to identify their expectations related to career prospects and overall understanding of the present situation of teacher on the postmodernity labor market. Finally, indicate the action taken by them in order to increase their competitiveness.

Opis:: This paper examines the properties of the anti-manipulation method in voting. Such a method can be used by committees and similar bodies to ensure that votes reflect genuine preferences. The anti-manipulation method is based on the Borda Count and discourages strategic voting by excluding scores that deviate excessively from the mean. The method does not eliminate strategic voting but diminishes the motivation to apply it. We compare the properties of the Borda Count and the anti-manipulation method. The properties, which are most often found in the literature, were chosen for comparison. Thus, the following properties are examined: consistency, vulnerability to the no-show paradox, vulnerability to the subset choice condition, homogeneity, monotonicity, and vulnerability to the reversal bias paradox as well as the Condorcet winner and loser paradoxes. The anti-manipulation method fails to satisfy most of these properties. A real data example, the voting of a certain jury, is used as a counterexample in most cases.

Opis:: The article focuses on the specificity of memoir competitions in pedeutology. The most important assumptions and ideas of competitions in pedeutology, as well as the use of the biographical method in describing the functioning of teachers in Poland over the last hundred years are described. Six memoir competitions, together with the described and developed scientific categories, were analysed in order to reveal common points of research which makes it possible to portray the teaching profession through the prism of the selected categories, as well as to show the most frequently undertaken studies on the teaching profession. Additionally, some research categories which are undertaken sporadically are presented, as well as categories which are absent but desirable due to the dynamics of changes, are indicated.
W artykule skoncentrowano się na specyfice konkursów pamiętnikarskich w pedeutologii. Omówiono najważniejsze założenia i idee konkursów w pedeutologii oraz zastosowanie metody biograficznej do opisu funkcjonowania nauczyciela w Polsce na przestrzeni ostatnich stu lat. Analizie poddano sześć konkursów pamiętnikarskich oraz opisanych i opracowanych kategorii naukowych w celu ukazania punktów wspólnych badań pozwalających na sportretowanie zawodu nauczyciela przez pryzmat wyłonionych kategorii, a także najczęściej podejmowanych badań nad zawodem nauczyciela. Dodatkowo zaprezentowano kategorie badawcze nad zawodem nauczyciela podejmowane sporadycznie oraz wskazano kategorie nieobecne, a pożądane w badaniach ze względu na dynamikę zmian zarówno w specyfice zawodu nauczyciela, jak i osób wykonujących ten zawód.

Opis:: In order to answer the research questions, the visual and conversation analyzes of a part of the selected work of art (a cartoon) were carried out and presented. The work was submitted by a student of an upper-secondary school to the Polish Nationwide Sociological Competition „Life on the Internet” organized by the Institute of Sociology of the University of Economy in Bydgoszcz. The competition had been inspired by the similar undertakings carried out in Poznań by Florian Znaniecki in the beginnings of the 20th century. The project bases on the assumption that the social reality is a creation of constant, everyday interactions taking place between its members and the objects to which social meanings were given. The Internet, still remaining in the phase of social construction, is such an object, too, and the source of meanings for it are the complex interactions between the Internet-users. Therefore, it has been assumed that the users direct their actions towards the object basing on the meaning they have for it. The aim of the paper is to reply to the question of what meanings are socially given to the Internet within the everyday (habitual) social interactions via the text (language), the social actions and the images.

Opis:: Sports tourism is a widespread phenomenon and it is known from ages. Over the past few decades, the division into passive and active sports tourism has been separated. Due to the growing interest in physical activity in this article will be described a participation in various sports competitions which are available for people practicing amateur sports. The author will bring closer the phenomenon of sport tourism in its active form, both in a closer and further range. The author will present the most popular forms and will describe it on selected examples. Will be indicated the growing popularity of active sports tourism and the general effects of such tourism in various areas. Active sports tourism will also be presented as a modern marketing tool.
