Opis:: Price instruments are useful in achieving market balance conditions in various markets. Those instruments can be also used for control of other composite systems. The formulation and basic properties of the Price Method are reviewed and then the congestion control by price instruments in a computer network is described and tested.

Opis:: In the presentation of this article I want to bring work and the importance of the Police Force to the public and to a small extent, affect the credibility and public opinion, which stems from poor informedness of Police Force and creates misrepresenting facts to police work. This is the main intention of the paper and also a reaction to the negative expression of some of the media to the address of the Police Force.

Opis:: Niepowodzenie strategii lizbońskiej postawiło instytucje UE wobec konieczności nowego podejścia do priorytetów mających uczynić z gospodarki unijnej najbardziej konkurencyjną i dynamiczną gospodarkę na świecie, opartą na wiedzy i zdolną do utrzymania trwałego wzrostu gospodarczego. Zadaniu temu ma sprostać Europa 2020 – strategia na rzecz inteligentnego i zrównoważonego rozwoju sprzyjającego włączeniu społecznemu, ogłoszona w marcu 2010 r. Celem artykułu jest próba oceny, czy w przypadku strategii Europa 2020 udało się uniknąć błędów strategii lizbońskiej, czy też zostały one powielone lub pojawiają się nowe – i czy zagrażają realizacji wyznaczonych celów.
The failure of the Lisbon strategy has set the EU institutions to the need for a new approach to priorities and instruments to make the EU economy the most competitive and dynamic economy in the world, based on knowledge and capable of sustainable economic growth. Europe 2020 – a strategy for smart, sustainable and inclusive growth, announced in March 2010 has to address this task. The aim of the article is an attempt to assess whether the Europe 2020 strategy avoids the mistakes of the Lisbon strategy, duplicates them or adds new ones – and whether they threaten the objectives set.
