Opis:: The article discusses a multi-criteria comparative analysis of GIS class computer systems using the Pareto method . Referring to this problem, to find a GIS system (a compromise solution) that would be acceptable for each decision criterion, to make a Pareto optimal decision, multi-criteria optimization was obligatory. To find the mentioned optimum (the Pareto optimum), it is necessary for the decision maker to make a choice concerning the set of admissible decision solutions. Here, a matrix of criteria constructed by the authors is available, filled in with appropriate weights by field experts. This structure is very useful when evaluating the admissible solutions of the resulting algorithm. The space of acceptable solutions in the considered problem task is a set of systems, limited to their eighteen instances, which meet the criterion of completeness of all data required in the conducted research. The selected criteria are the most widely used and most accepted in the environments that systems of this class use daily.

Opis:: W pracy przedstawiono ogólną procedurę tworzenia rankingów zbioru obiektów przy relacji preferencji bazującej na dowolnej funkcji rankingowej. Analizę możliwych do wykorzystania funkcji rankingowych rozpoczęto od pokazania fundamentalnych wad powszechnie stosowanych funkcji w postaci sumy ważonej. Jako szczególny przypadek procedury rankingowej w przestrzeni z relacją zaproponowano procedurę bazującą na pojęciu elementu idealnego i uogólnionej odległości Minkowskiego od tego elementu. Procedura ta przedstawiona w postaci uniwersalnego algorytmu rankingowego eliminuje większość wad funkcji rankingowej w postaci sumy ważonej.
The paper presents a general procedure for creating the rankings of a set of objects, while the relation of preference based on any ranking function. The analysis was possible to use the ranking functions began by showing the fundamental drawbacks of commonly used functions in the form of a weighted sum. As a special case of the ranking procedure in the space of a relation, the procedure based on the notion of an ideal element and generalized Minkowski distance from the element was proposed. This procedure, presented as universal ranking algorithm, eliminates most of the disadvantages of ranking functions in the form of a weighted sum.

Opis:: Counterfactuals are widely used to explain ML model predictions by providing alternative scenarios for obtaining more desired predictions. They can be generated by a variety of methods that optimize various, sometimes conflicting, quality measures and produce quite different solutions. However, choosing the most appropriate explanation method and one of the generated counterfactuals is not an easy task. Instead of forcing the user to test many different explanation methods and analysing conflicting solutions, in this paper we propose to use a multi-stage ensemble approach that will select a single counterfactual based on the multiple-criteria analysis. It offers a compromise solution that scores well on several popular quality measures. This approach exploits the dominance relation and the ideal point decision aid method, which selects one counterfactual from the Pareto front. The conducted experiments demonstrate that the proposed approach generates fully actionable counterfactuals with attractive compromise values of the quality measures considered.

Opis:: W pracy przedstawiono ogólną procedurę tworzenia rankingów jakościowych elementów ustalonego zbioru obiektów. Procedura polega na rekurencyjnym wyznaczaniu elementów ekstremalnych zbioru na podstawie przyjętej relacji preferencji. Efektem jej działania jest podział zbioru na klastry rankingowe (kategorie). Przedstawione metody podziału zbioru na klastry mogą być wykorzystywane w analizie jakościowej obiektów w wielu praktycznych zastosowaniach.
The paper presents a general procedure for creating quality rankings of objects. Ranking procedure fixed set of elements by recurrent determining the extreme elements of the set on the basis of its preference relation. The result of the procedure is to divide the set into ranking clusters (categories). The method splits the set of the clusters can be used in qualitative analysis of objects in many practical applications.

Opis:: Głównym rezultatem pracy jest model informatycznego modułu wspomagania decyzji w zakresie ustalania wstępnej diagnozy medycznej. Moduł ten na podstawie danych medycznych, symptomów chorobowych oraz czynników ryzyka pozwala generować zbiór jednostek chorobowych, od których nie ma bardziej prawdopodobnych (zbiór Pareto). Dodatkowo umożliwia dokonanie rankingu jednostek chorobowych ze względu na odległość od tzw. punktu idealnego w przestrzeni chorób uwzględnionych w repozytorium.
The main result of the work is a model of an information module for decision support in determining the initial medical diagnosis. This module is based on medical data, symptoms of disease and risk factors that generale a set of diseases from which there is no morę probable (Pareto set). In addition, allows a ranking of diseases due to the distance from the so-called ideał point in the space of diseases included in the repository.

Pochodzą one z różnych obszarów badawczych, jak na przykład krzewiący pogłębioną znajomość antycznej tradycji w Polsce lwowski „Filomata”, „Pedagogium” – „czasopismo poświęcone psychologii nauczyciela i sposobom jego kształcenia”, „Pełnia Życia” – kwartalnik dla osób zakonnych czy wreszcie „Parametr” – specjalistyczny periodyk traktujący o nauczaniu matematyki, w którym także można odnaleźć refleksje ogólniejszej natury, związane z wymaganiami, jakie stawiano wówczas nauczycielom. Klamrą wiążącą ten wybór jest rok 1939, w którym ukazały się wszystkie przywołane tutaj teksty, oraz ich bezpośredni lub pośredni związek z wydarzeniami, które miały wkrótce radykalnie odmienić kulturowy obraz Europy i świata.
The subject of the article is the content of selected Polish magazines depicting the views on the educational ideals, the part of tradition in their development, as well as new trends in pedagogy dominating in those times. They originate in various research areas, such as ‘Filomata’ of Lviv, disseminating the deepened knowledge of the classical tradition in Poland, ‘Pedagogium,’ ‘the magazine devoted to the psychology of a teacher and methods of educating’, ‘Pełnia życia’ (‘The Fullness of Life’), a quarterly for monks, or ‘Parametr,’ a specialist journal on teaching mathematics, including more general reflections can be found on the obligations imposed on teachers in that time. The key of the selection is 1939, the time of the edition of all the texts mentioned above and the connection, mediate or immediate, with the events which were soon to change radically the picture of Europe and of the world.

Opis:: For a wide class of weights we find the approximative point spectrum and the essential spectrum of the pointwise multiplication operator $M_φ$, $M_φ(f)=φf$, on the weighted Banach spaces of analytic functions on the disc with the sup-norm. Thus we characterize when $M'_φ$ is Fredholm or is an into isomorphism. We also study cyclic phenomena for the adjoint map $M'_φ$.

Opis:: In this paper, by using the notion of fuzzy points and equality algebras, the notions of fuzzy point equality algebra, equality-subalgebra, and ideal were established. Some characterizations of fuzzy subalgebras were provided by using such concepts. We defined the concepts of $(\in, \in)$ and $(\in, \in\! \vee \, {q})$-fuzzy ideals of equality algebras, discussed some properties, and found some equivalent definitions of them. In addition, we investigated the relation between different kinds of $(\alpha,\beta)$-fuzzy subalgebras and $(\alpha,\beta)$-fuzzy ideals on equality algebras. Also, by using the notion of $(\in, \in)$-fuzzy ideal, we defined two equivalence relations on equality algebras and we introduced an order on classes of $X$, and we proved that the set of all classes of $X$ by these order is a poset.
