Opis:: In the paper a Lyapunov matrices approach to the parametric optimization problem of a neutral system with a P-controller is presented. The value of integral quadratic performance index of quality is equal to the value of Lyapunov functional for the initial function of the neutral system. Opis:: In the paper the parametric optimization problem for a linear system with two delays and a PD-controller is presented. In the parametric optimization problem the quadratic performance index is considered. The value of the quadratic index of quality is calculated due to the Lyapunov functional and is equal to the value of that functional for the initial function of the neutral system with two delays. The Lyapunov functional is determined by means of the Lyapunov matrix.

Opis:: The paper presents a method of determining of the Lyapunov functional for a linear neutral system with an interval time-varying delay. The Lyapunov functional is constructed for the system with a time-varying delay with a given time derivative, which is calculated on the trajectory of the system with a time-varying delay. The presented method gives analytical formulas for the coefficients of the Lyapunov functional.

Opis:: In this paper a parametric optimization problem for a linear neutral system with two delays with an integral quadratic performance index is formulated and solved. The method of computing of a performance index value bases on determining of a Lyapunov functional defined on a state space such that its value for an initial state is equal to a performance index value. In the paper a form of a Lyapunov functional is assumed and a method of computing its coefficients is given. An example illustrating the application of discussed theory is presented. It concerns the system with a PD-controller designed to control a plant with two delays both retarded and neutral type. For such system a value of considered performance index is determined.

Opis:: In the paper the problem of parametric optimization of a linear neutral system with two delays accomplished with respect to the integral quadratic performance index is formulated and solved. A method of computing the value of performance index relies on determining such a Lyapunov functional defined on the state space that its value for the initial state is equal to that of performance index. In the paper the form of Lyapunov functional is assumed and a method of computing its coefficients is given. An example illustrating the application of the theory discussed is presented. Opis:: This paper deals with the stability problem for a class of linear neutral delay-differential systems. The time delay is assumed constant and known. Delay-dependent criteria are derived. The criteria are given in the form of linear matrix inequalities which are easy to use when checking the stability of the systems considered. Numerical examples indicate significant improvements over some existing results.

Opis:: For abstract linear systems in Hilbert spaces we revisit the problems of exact controllability and complete stabilizability (stabilizability with an arbitrary decay rate), the latter property being related to exact null controllability. We also consider the case when the feedback is not bounded. We obtain a characterization of complete stabilizability for neutral type systems. Conditions for exact null controllability of neutral type systems are discussed. By duality, we obtain a result about continuous final observability. Illustrative examples are given.

Opis:: The existence of mild solutions and approximate controllability for Riemann-Liouville fractional neutral evolution systems with nonlocal conditions of a fractional order is investigated. The Laplace transform and semigroup theory are the tools used to prove the existence. In turn, approximate controllability is proved on the basis of a Nemytskii operator, a Mittag-Leffler function and certain hypotheses using fixed point theorems, as well as the construction of a Cauchy sequence. An example is provided to highlight the main results.

Opis:: When comparing the performance indicators of electrical networks with different types of neutral grounding, along with the fulfilment of the requirement to ensure reliability of power supply to consumers, serious attention is drawn to the main network parameters influencing the performance of power supply systems. Analysis of research and its results, reported above, on the influence of the neutral ground of power networks on the reliability and electrical safety conditions of the power supply systems as a whole, on the damage of distribution networks and electrical equipment as well as on the working capacity of relay protection devices, provides an opportunity to estimate each specific operation mode of the neutral and to develop recommendations aimed at strengthening the positive indicators of the corresponding modes. Other things being equal, reliability of power supply to electrical receivers or reliability of distribution networks is mainly determined by the damage to network elements and the performance of relay protection devices. The degree of influence of these factors on the reliability of distribution networks depends on the neutral mode, which in turn determines the level of internal overvoltages and the nature of transient processes at earth fault.
