Niniejsza praca magisterska, posiadająca dwuczłonową strukturę, poświęcona jest analizie obrazu przestrzeni saraceńskiej w „Pieśni o Antiochii”, „Pieśnie o Jerozolimie” oraz w „Opowieści o Florze i Blanchefleur”. Jej celem jest pokazanie w jaki sposób człowiek średniowiecza postrzegał i przedstawiał przestrzeń orientalną oraz oddzielenie owej przestrzeni od jej wyobrażenia. Pierwsza część pracy składa się z trzech rozdziałów i skupia się wokół obrazu miasta. Każdy z rozdziałów jest poświęcony jednemu z elementów przestrzeni miejskiej: jej okolicom, jej fortyfikacjom i opisowi jej wnętrza. Druga część zawiera pogłębioną analizę obrazu orientalnego ogrodu w odniesieniu do toposu locus amoenus i locus terribilis. Całość pracy została opatrzona wstępem, konkluzjami i bibliografią.
Le présent mémoire de maîtrise est centré sur l’analyse de l’imaginaire de l’espace sarrasin dans la "Chanson d’Antioche", la "Chanson de Jérusalem" et le "Conte de Floire et Blanchefleur" et il a une structure bipartite. Le but de ce travail est de montrer comment l’homme médiéval percevait et représentait l’espace oriental et de distinguer l’espace de son imaginaire. La première partie se compose de trois chapitres et elle est focalisée autour de l’image de la ville. Chacun des chapitres est dédié à l’un des éléments du paysage urbain : d’abord à ses alentours, puis à ses fortifications et finalement à son intérieur. La seconde partie propose une analyse approfondie de l’image du jardin oriental associée au topos de locus amoenus et de locus terribilis. L’ensemble du présent mémoire est complété par l’introduction, les conclusions et la bibliographie.
The following thesis is dedicated to the analysis of the imagery of the Saracen space in the "Chanson d’Antioche", "Chanson de Jérusalem" and in the "Floris and Blanchefleur". The work consists of two parts and its purpose is to show how the medieval man perceived and represented oriental space and to distinguish this space from its imaginery. The first part of the thesis consists of three chapters and focuses on the image of the city. Each of the chapters is devoted to one of the elements of urban space: its surroundings, its fortifications and the description of its interior. The second part contains a deepened analysis of the image of the oriental garden with respect to the topos of locus amoenus and locus terribilis.
