W artykule przedstawiono Al-Kaidę – międzynarodową organizację terrorystyczną, która rozpropagowała ideę terroryzmu samobójczego na całym świecie. Autorka przedstawia oprócz Al-Kaidy inne organizacje terrorystyczne, które współpracu-jąc z nią przejęły sposoby organizowania akcji terrorystycznych. W treści artykułu przedstawiono ideologię samopoświęcenia, którą kieruje się Al-Kaida, jak również postać Bin Ladena, która ma kluczowe znaczenie dla całej organizacji. Ponadto przedstawiono proces pozyskiwania nowych bojowników oraz sposoby szkolenia i przygotowania wybranych członków do przeprowadzenia samobójczego ataku terrorystycznego. W podsumowaniu autorka podkreśla, że dokładne poznanie organizacji i sposobów jej działania jest elementem kluczowym w procesie zwalczania światowego terroryzmu.
The article deals with Al-Kaida which popularized the concept of suicide terrorism all over the world. The author also presents other terrorist organizations that have adopted the ways of organizing terrorist attacks from Al-Kaida. The article explains ideology of self-sacrifi ce which is specifi c to Al-Kaida and presents the fi gure of Bin Laden, which plays a signifi cant role. The author also presents how new fi ghters are recruited and trained and explains the process of preparation of the particular members of the organization to commit suicide terrorist attacks. In the conclusion of the article, the author emphasizes the fact that a thorough understanding of the terrorist organization and its functioning constitutes a fundamental element in the process of combating global terrorism. - Dostawca treści:
