Opis:
W niniejszym artykule odniesiono teorie Ervinga Goffmana do doświadczeń sytuacji społecznych w pracy nauczycieli przedszkoli niepublicznych. Celem badania było poznanie sytuacji społecznych w odniesieniu do osobistych przeżyć nauczycielek, a następnie odniesienie ich do ram teorii dramaturgicznej w ujęciu Goffmana. Badania zostały przeprowadzone w paradygmacie badań jakościowych z wykorzystaniem wywiadu swobodnego. W badaniach starano się uzyskać odpowiedź na pytanie badawcze: Jakie sytuacje społeczne dostarczają źródła satysfakcji, a jakie demotywują w kontekście pracy nauczycieli przedszkola niepublicznego? W artykule ukazano relacje, wartości, organizację pracy oraz autoprezentacje z perspektywy 12 nauczycielek prywatnych przedszkoli. W końcowej części, pomimo fragmentarycznego charakteru badań, sformułowano wnioski dotyczące istoty podejmowania refleksji oraz podnoszenia kompetencji interpersonalnych i komunikacyjnych.
This paper relates Erving Goffman’s theories to the experiences of social situations in the work of non-public kindergarten teachers. The purpose of the study was to explore social situations in relation to the personal experiences of female teachers, and then relate them to the framework of the dramaturgical theory of Goffman. The research was conducted using a qualitative method with the use of a free interview. The research sought to answer the research question: Which social situations provide a source of satisfaction and which demotivate in the context of non-public kindergarten teachers’ work? The article shows relationships, values, work organization and self-presentations from the perspective of 12 female teachers of private kindergartens. In the final part, despite the fragmentary nature of the research, conclusions are formulated on the essence of reflection and improvement of interpersonal and communication competences.

The article explores the redefinition of learning objectives within the context of digital education for older adults, addressing the critical need to enhance digital inclusion. It emphasizes the centrality of learning objectives as foundational elements in the design, implementation, and evaluation of educational programs. The study underscores the necessity of revising these objectives to promote the development of digital competences among older adults. As society becomes increasingly digitalized, traditional educational models must evolve to accommodate the dynamic digital landscape. The REMEDIS research initiative seeks to modernize educational frameworks and establish a more effective approach to cultivating digital skills in older populations. By employing SMART criteria and leveraging the expertise of senior and future trainers, the study identifies 12 key categories for contemporary educational objectives, including: basic computer and mobile device use, digital terminology, email communication, cybersecurity, online information retrieval, social media usage, instant messaging, culture and entertainment access, online financial management, e-commerce, smartphone software applications, and time management. The qualitative analysis of digital education objectives for older adults reveals a spectrum ranging from basic digital literacy to advanced e-service utilization, while also highlighting the importance of aligning these objectives with the practical needs of older adults.

The increased time spent using the Internet and smartphones is prevalent primarily among adolescents. This group is currently of particular interest to media educators and psychologists studying the impact of ICTs on quality of life. An example of the negative changes associated with the intensive computerisation of various spaces is the uncontrolled and inadequate use of the Internet, referred to as problematic Internet use (PUI). This text contributes to the discussion on the extent of PUI among adolescents (12–16 years) in the Czech Republic (N=1555), Poland (N=501), and Slovakia (N=478). Based on the collected data, it was found that: 1) Polish and Czech adolescents are similar in terms of the intensity of PUI symptoms (adolescents from Slovakia are characterised by lower levels of PUI); 2) The vast majority of young people do not exceed PUI thresholds that could be considered alarming; 3) Lack of sleep or neglecting meals in favour of Internet use are the least frequent factors in the study group; 4) Most often adolescents declare that they are bored when they do not have access to the Internet; 5) Adolescents are a nonhomogeneous group in terms of the intensity of occurrence of PUI traits, but only 0.3% of adolescents in the Czech Republic and 0.4% in Poland had all 6 PUI factors present in maximum intensity.

Creation of open educational resources (OER) and digital and media competences of future teachers

The digital and media competencies of future teachers are foundational for driving positive change in education. Recognizing this, and addressing the gaps in new media proficiency among pre-service teachers, a pedagogical experiment was designed to enhance their creative use of new technologies. In the 2023/2024 academic year, a new initiative was introduced at Jagiellonian University, Poland, aimed at improving pre-service teachers' knowledge and skills in creating open educational resources (OER). Leveraging the theoretical and diagnostic framework of the international REMEDIS project, a series of activities were conducted over multiple sessions, enabling pre-service teachers to develop their own original OER using video tutorials. Quantitative research conducted during this experiment revealed the following insights: 1) The proposed training model has significantly enhanced teachers' digital competence and shows promise for long-term implementation; 2) However, one area needing improvement is the dissemination of OER (e.g., via YouTube). While YouTube is widely used, this does not necessarily mean that all participants are proficient in uploading videos to popular platforms; 3) As age increases, there is a noticeable decline in digital competence among teachers in certain areas; 4) An effective training program should have highly focused learning objectives related to the essential skills for creating, editing, and sharing OER; 5) Overloading the program with additional digital and media skills does not effectively improve teachers' competence in OER creation.
