Opis:: The purpose of this document is to develop a Business Case for implementing a new RNAV approach to LNAV and LPV minima for the Mielec aerodrome (EPML). This business case aims to assist the management of small airports such as MIELEC, in their decision to implement RNAV procedures, by providing as much as possible relevant information. The basic methodology can be therefore reused in similar airports as long as the assumptions made for each case are updated. The document is a deliverable of the TEN-T funded programme “Support to the EGNOS APV Operational Implementation – APV MIELEC.
Artykuł ten prezentuje metodę analizy biznesowej dla realizowanych nowych procedur podejść RNAV do LNAV i minimów LPV dla mieleckiego lotniska (EPML). Metoda analizy biznesowej powinna pomóc w zarządzaniu małymi lotniskami, takimi jak Mielec, oraz w podjęciu decyzji o wprowadzeniu procedur RNAV przez dostarczanie, na ile jest to możliwe, istotnych informacji. Zaprezentowana metoda może być wielokrotnie stosowana dla podobnych lotnisk tak długo, jak tylko dla każdej analizy będą czynione uaktualnienia. Metoda została opracowana w obrębie europejskiego programu TEN-T, w ramach realizacji tematu „Wsparcie Operacyjnej Implementacji EGNOS APV – APV MIELEC”.

Opis:: In the paper, the author attempts to point out the meaning of procedures for the environmental management system (EMS). Particular attention is paid to form and content as well as to the functions, proprieties and structure of the procedures. The analyses were carried out taking into account a systemic approach of the essential topics to the ISO 14001 standard. Based on the chosen procedure, some fundamental methods of elaborating upon and implementing the EMS procedures were outlined. It was also presented that procedures written in accordance with these rules might provide vital support to the improvement of the organization’s management systems and might optimize the processes in the areas they cover.

Opis:: Every type of training can be improved. Trying to find ways to do so is a continuous process. The identification and implementation of the most effective of those can only be adequate to the changing environment in case of objective review, comparison and analysis. This paper discusses some approaches whose adoption can lead to the enhancement of the training for radio operators for working in tactical net-works for the Navy. It also shares some experience from the implementation of such methods when training cadets at the Bulgarian Naval Academy.

Opis:: W dniu dzisiejszym w świecie, w którym każdego dnia zalewani jesteśmy informacjami o różnego rodzaju zdarzeniach kryzysowych, tragediach dotykających jednostki albo całe społeczeństwa, zarządzanie kryzysowe nabiera coraz większego znaczenia. Wzrasta również zainteresowanie procedurami zarządzania kryzysowego, tak praktyczne, jak i naukowe. To sprawia, że rośnie zarówno liczba samych procedur, jak i naukowych opracowań na ich temat. Wciąż jednak brakuje jednej, oficjalnej i uznanej definicji procedur zarządzania kryzysowego. Dostrzegając ten brak, autor niniejszego artykułu stawia pytanie: czym są procedury zarządzania kryzysowego i jakie ich rodzaje lub/albo kategorie możemy wyróżnić. W artykule przedstawiono różne rodzaje procedur zarządzania kryzysowego oraz autorską propozycję definicji tego pojęcia.
Today, in a world where every day we are inundated with information concerning all sorts of crisis events, tragedies affecting individuals or entire societies, crisis management is becoming increasingly important. There is also a growing interest in crisis management procedures, both practical and scientific. This has resulted in a growing number of both procedures as such and scientific studies related to them. However, there is still no single, officially recognised definition of crisis management procedures. Recognising this lack, the author of this article poses the question: what are crisis management procedures and what types and/or categories of them can we distinguish. The article presents the different types of crisis management procedures and the author’s proposal for a definition of this concept.

Opis:: In this paper we show how to apply the closure test principle in case of testing linear hypotheses within the classical regression model. The closure test principle which was introduced by (Marcus, Peritz, Gabriel (1976)) results in the construction of test procedures which are in general much more powerful then conventional test procedures like the Bonferroni procedure or the Schöffe' procedure. A small simulation study provides some evidence of the superiority of closed test procedures compared to classical test procedures.
W pracy tej pokazujemy jak stosować zasadę testu domknięcia w przypadku badania hipotez liniowych w klasycznym modelu regresji. Zasada domknięcia, wprowadzona przez [Marcusa, Peritza, Gabriela (1976)], pozwala skonstruować procedury, które zasadniczo są o wiele silniejsze niż konwencjonalne procedury testowe, np. procedura Bonferroniego czy Scheffego. Krótkie badanie symulacyjne dostarcza pewnych dowodów wyższości procedury testu wielokrotnego domkniętego nad procedurą testu klasycznego.

Opis:: Introduction. Cardiovascular diseases are still the most frequent cause of morbidity and mortality in the western world. Nuclear medicine procedures have the potential to assess their significance on an individual basis and thus tailor the treatment. They can be effectively used in patients with ischemic heart disease, congestive heart failure, or metabolic heart diseases. Aim of the review. This review shortly describes the basic principle of nuclear medicine, the frequently used radiopharmaceuticals available in nuclear cardiology, the main procedures and their clinical significance. Conclusions. Nuclear medicine procedures used in cardiology make possible individual personalized assessments of the wide array of different cardiac metabolic conditions and functions in myocardial ischemia, heart failure and other myocardial pathologies.
