Opis:
The world today calls a common language as a code to ease communication among different language speakers and almost this language is English which is being taught in four corners of world .For teaching languages there are many barriers of which the most important ones come to the structural and inherent differences, for several years teaching English to Kurd students it has been substantiated that in many cases the Kurd speaker encounters severe problems to understand what differences structural differences among languages exert. Some while these differences block the process of message transfer. Relying on semiotic iconic fragments many of these troublesome obstacles appear to be eliminated thoroughly it seems that there are shortages in quantity of structures to convey a message from a mind to one another: in order to understand what exactly the role of structures are I am going to illustrate the tense FUTURE which splits into (simple, progressive, perfect and perfect continuous in English) which are shown in one form in Kurdish thus a Kurd speaker would confront severe problems to think by those structures and consequently his or her perception of an English speaker using those structures might be challenged. Hence throughout this article it has been substantiated to get the significance of structure acquaintance known and likewise to imply how this trend could fruitfully push the Kurd learners to overwhelm the English structures grabbed and eventually will have them completely interact and interchange messages in English: knowing the structures and senses they have will dramatically enhance Kurd’s perception and uttering quality in English

Opis:
The paper discusses the use of English as a lingua franca (ELF), in pedagogical activities in the language class. On the basis of the didactic approach called CLT (Communicative Language Teaching it was pointed out that the treatment of learning a foreign language as a lingua franca rather than as a foreign language sensu stricto may be an effective aid for a student (and often a teacher) in their collaborative efforts leading to effective L2 learning.

Opis:
The article is devoted to the diversification of foreign language teaching methods. The Balanced Teaching approach accurately represents this approach since it rejects competition between the foreign language teaching methods which focus either on hermeticism or on openness. Balanced Teaching assumes their coexistence and suggests their remaining in balance in foreign language teaching.

Opis:
ABSTRACT   Numerous studies (e.g. Lipińska, 2014; Majer, 2002; Nowacka, 2003; Sobkowiak, 2002; Szpyra-Kozłowska, et al., 2002; Szpyra-Kozłowska, 2008; Waniek-Klimczak, 2002; Wrembel, 2002) have shown that although teaching L2 pronunciation is included in university curricula, it is at the same time virtually absent at lower stages of education. Moreover, it has been noticed that teaching phonetics to younger learners is advisable and may be really effective (e.g. Lipińska, in press a; Nixon and Tomlinson, 2005). Undoubtedly, one can say that there are a lot of books and courses designed for adults written by and for Polish learners of English (e.g. Porzuczek et al., 2013; Sawala et al., 2011) or dedicated to international users (e.g. Baker, 2006; Hancock, 2008; Hewings, 2010). But the materials and methods used while working with adult learners and university students are no longer applicable if one wants to teach phonetics in a different environment and create an attractive and efficient course for children or young teenagers, since, as e.g. Komorowska (2011) notices, each foreign language course has to be characterised by realistic goals and appropriate methods and components. The aim of this paper is to present various methods and materials which can be successfully applied while teaching English pronunciation to 11-13-year-olds. They have been used in three groups consisting of such L2 learners, and their usefulness and effectiveness have been proven by studies on both speech production and perception (e.g. Lipińska, in press b).

In math classes solving statistical tasks by using procedures which the student learned by heart is usually used. The authors, thus encouraged learning and teaching statistics on the basis of realistic problems and problem situations, so that the student gets to know statistical concepts within the experience of resolving a real-life problem situation. With this approach to learning and teaching statistics, students acquired a better knowledge and were able to grasp, interpret and make critical evaluations of the statistical information, which was confirmed by the experiment that involved 269 first-grade high school students.

Opis:
School geography is a subject which has more possibilities to modernize the teaching than other subjects. It is thanks to the interdisciplinary and cross-disciplinary character of the geography science in general. Modern geography could benefit mainly from the cross-curricular links. At the same time it applies modern, but concurrently established and verified concepts as for example inquiry-based education, philosophy for children, global development education or the use of mobile applications et al. The inquiry-based education (IBE) methods deepen pupils’ interest with exploration, they develop their critical thinking and teach them to orientate within the information smog, and they make school and teaching closer to real life. Presented case study is an example of use of the IBE teaching activity at the border geography and biology. The direct and real contact of pupils with the observed animals indicates that this kind of education awakes pupils’ interest in living nature. The teaching activity motivated the pupils to develop affection for animals and to get to know their zoogeographic area of habitat. At the same time, the activity is a perfect example of the so-called “inadvertent learning” (Petty, 2013).

V príspevku autori uvádzajú požiadavky kladené na materiálne vyučovacie prostriedky a ich základné funkcie (informačná, transformačná, aktivizačná a regulačná). Poukazujú na skĺbenie materiálnych didaktických prostriedkov a učební do didaktických pracovísk, ktoré zvyšujú intenzitu výučby a uvádzajú rozdelenie materiálnych vyučovacích prostriedkov vo vyučovacom procese. V prieskumnej časti článku autori dotazníkovým prieskumom zisťovali využívanie materiálnych vyučovacích prostriedkov vo vyučovacom procese na vysokých školách a univerzitách v Českej republike (393 respondentov), Slovenskej republike (208 respondentov) a v Poľsku (98 respondentov).
This article aims to show the position and dividing of material resources in teaching process. It describes them as accompaniment of teaching from the very beginning of the teaching and these reflected the level of their period. At the same time the authors state the requirements for teaching material resources and their basic functions (information, transformation, activation and regulation). In the next part of the article there is shown the joint of material didactical resources and schoolrooms for didactical departments, which increase the intensity of teaching by the fact that the teacher can prepare his practical demonstrations, experiments in advance or for example illustrate the production of the component on CNC machine programmed in advance and so on. In the exploratory part of the article the authors investigated by questionnaire survey the utilization of the teaching equipment in teaching process at colleges and universities in the Czech Republic (393 respondents), Slovak Republic (208 respondents) and Poland (98 respondents). In total 699 respondents participated in the survey.

Opis:
Ponad dwadzieścia cztery wieki temu Konfucjusz napisał: „Co usłyszę zapomnę. Co zobaczę, zapamiętam. Co sam zrobię, zrozumiem”. Silberman M., przy współpracy Auerbach C., rozwinęli tą sentencję Konfucjusza i nazwali ją „Credem uczącego się”. Brzmi ono następująco: „Gdy usłyszę zapomnę. Gdy usłyszę i zobaczę, zapamiętam. Gdy usłyszę, zobaczę i porozmawiam, zrozumiem. Gdy usłyszę, zobaczę, porozmawiam i zrobię, zdobywam sprawność i wiedzę. Gdy uczę innych, dochodzę do mistrzostwa”.
Confucius had written in 24th century odd: “Whatever it will comes to my notice I will forget. Whatever I will see I will remember. Whatever I will do myself, I will understand”. Silberman M., collaborated with Auerbach C., developed Confucius maxim and termed their maxim: “The creed of studying”. The creed of studying is as follows: “When it will comes to my notice I will forget. When it will comes to my notice and I will see, I will remember. When it will comes to my notice, I will see and I will talk, I will understand. When it will comes to my notice, I will see, I will talk and I will do I will have an efficiency and a knowledge. When I will teach I will be an expert” The maxim of Confucius and The creed of studying focus attention on a question of a correlation between the knowledge and the teaching method. The aim of the article is the identify and evaluation of modern teaching methods of logistics from student’s point of view. In article the results of empirical research have been described.
