Celem artykułu jest pokazanie rodziny polskiej jako środowiska życia i wychowania w pierwszej dekadzie XXI wieku na przykładzie indywidualnych doświadczeń i interpretacji. Artykuł składa się z dwóch części. W pierwszej, przedstawiono charakterystyczne właściwości rodziny jako środowiska życia, jej możliwości rozwojowe i wychowawcze we współczesnym społeczeństwie i w kulturze oraz zasadnicze kierunki przemian rodziny polskiej w XXI wieku. W drugiej, dokonano analizy treści wypowiedzi pisemnych opublikowanych na łamach prasy ukazujących różne interpretacje wybranych aspektów życia rodzinnego życia na podstawie osobistych doświadczeń, w odniesieniu do takich zagadnień, jak: rozumienie rodziny, jej sens i atrakcyjność, warunki udanego życia w małżeństwie i rodzinie, trudności i kwestie związane z wychowaniem, przekaz wartości oraz kryzysy w rodzinie. W podsumowaniu, porównano tendencje wynikające z subiektywnej interpretacji zachodzących w rodzinie przemian z obiektywnym ich obrazem na przestrzeni ostatnich dziesięciu lat.
The purpose of this article is to show Polish family as environment of life and education in the first decade of the twenty-first century upon an example of individual experience and interpretation. The article consists of two parts. In the first one it shows the characteristics of the family as the life environment and its potential for development in contemporary society and culture. In the second one, an analysis has been done of the content of the written statements published in the press showing the different interpretations of certain aspects of family life based on their own experiences in relation to issues such as: understanding of the family, its meaning and appeal, conditions of a successful life in the family, difficulties, education, the transfer of values, family crises. In conclusion, we compared the trends resulting from subjective and objective perception of family, showing characteristic trends of Polish family changes the past ten years. In practical applications the knowledge range has been identified, necessary for the pro-family education of youth and adults.

This article is an attempt of making synthesis of Polish family changes as social and bringing-up environment in the first decade of the twenty-first century. Based on the concept of contemporary family change, tried to find answers to the following questions: 1. How has the importance of the family as the living and bringing-up environment developed in the consciousness of Polish society in the first decade of the twenty-first century? 2. How has the attitude towards family and its constituent values developed in this period? The specific questions were created on the basis of the above questions: 1. What validity and importance were given to the family? 2.How have its valuation, understanding and related expectations developed? 3.How has the attitude towards marriage changed, including the area of expectations and implementation? 4. What was the attitude towards procreation and having a child? 5. How has the upbringing culture of the family developed, including upbringing goals, upbringing awareness and family relationships? The analysis is a comparative study, which was based on ambient data, the research material published in Poland in the years 2000-2012 (reports, social diagnosis, nationwide surveys and studies of selected authors) and own research conducted in the years 2007-2009. The article in the first part presents the changes and the condition of the family, marriage, informal relationships and parenting in Poland in the twenty-first century. In the second one characteristics of the family as the upbringing environment are described. Finally, the conclusions of the partial analyzes are presented and the most important trends and phases of transformations of the Polish family are shown in the period from 2000 to 2012.
Artykuł jest próbą syntezy przemian rodziny polskiej jako środowiska społeczno-wychowawczego w pierwszej dekadzie XXI wieku. Opierając się na koncepcji przemian rodziny współczesnej, starano się uzyskać odpowiedź na następujące pytania: 1. Jak kształtowała się ważność rodziny jako środowiska życia i wychowania w świadomości polskiego społeczeństwa w pierwszej dekadzie XXI wieku? 2. Jak zmieniał się stosunek do rodziny i konstytuujących ją wartości w tym okresie? Na bazie powyższych pytań utworzono pytania szczegółowe: 1. Jaką ważność i znaczenie nadawano rodzinie? 2.Jak kształtowało się jej wartościowanie, rozumienie oraz związane z nią oczekiwania? 3.Jak zmieniał się stosunek do małżeństwa, w tym sfera oczekiwań i realizacji ? 4. Jak wyglądał stosunek do prokreacji i posiadania dziecka? 5. Jak kształtowała się kultura wychowawcza rodziny, a w niej cele wychowania, świadomość wychowawcza oraz relacje rodzinne? Przedstawiona analiza ma charakter badań porównawczych, które przeprowadzono w oparciu o dane zastane, czyli materiał badawczy opublikowany w Polsce w latach 2000-2012 (raporty, diagnozy społeczne, sondaże ogólnopolskie i wyniki badań wybranych autorów) oraz badania własne z lat 2007-2009. Artykuł składa się z dwóch części. W pierwszej, przedstawiono przemiany i kondycję rodziny, małżeństwa, związków nieformalnych i rodzicielstwa w Polsce w XXI wieku, a w drugiej cechy rodziny jako środowiska wychowawczego. W części końcowej zawarto wnioski z analiz cząstkowych oraz ukazano najważniejsze trendy i fazy przemian rodziny polskiej w latach 2000-2012.

Rodzina w poszukiwaniu intymności : na przykładzie przemian modelu rodziny
Family in search for intimacy example of changing family model

Artykuł jest teoretycznym studium poświęconym zagadnieniu przemian intymności rodzinnej w kontekście przeobrażeń społeczno-kulturowych rodziny europejskiej, począwszy od rodziny tradycyjnej poprzez rodzinę nowoczesną aż do ponowoczesnej. Rekonstrukcja tych trzech modeli rodziny, charakterystycznych dla odmiennych typów społeczeństw i kultur stanowi dogodną płaszczyznę ukazania przeobrażeń zachodzących w sferze relacji rodzinnych, zarówno małżeńskich, jak i rodzicielskich w dłuższej perspektywie czasowej. Analizując zjawisko intymności rodzinnej założono, iż: 1) jest ona wytworem kultury i społeczeństwa, które ją stworzyło, 2) ulega podobnym przeobrażeniom jak one, 3) istnieje podobieństwo między intymnością dorosłych a intymnością rodzice-dzieci, 4) intymność rodzinna tworzy określoną kulturą wychowawczą rodziny. W charakterystykach poszczególnych modeli rodziny, zwrócono uwagę na uwarunkowania, cele i status intymności w analizowanych okresach, jak również sens i znaczenie nadawane wartościom, które ją konstytuowały i konstytuują w XXI wieku. Ukazano także wpływ intymności dorosłych na stosunki rodzice-dzieci i kulturę wychowawczą rodziny. Starano się również pokazać zagrożenia i walory poszczególnych modeli rodziny w dziedzinie przemian intymności ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem niebezpieczeństw tkwiących w rodzinie ponowoczesnej oraz ich wpływu na socjalizację dziecka w rodzinie. Artykuł jest próbą przedstawienia zakresu i specyfiki przemian intymności małżeńskiej i rodzicielskiej, a nade wszystko poszukiwaniem odpowiedzi na pytanie, czy rodzina europejska XXI wieku na pewno ją odnalazła we wzajemnych relacjach swoich członków.
The article is devoted to theoretical study of the issue of transformation in the context of family intimacy socio-cultural transformation of the European family, ranging from the traditional family through the modern one to postmodern. Reconstruction of the three models of the family, specific to different types of societies and cultures, provides a convenient platform to show transformations taking place in the sphere of family relations, both marriage and parenting in the long term. Analyzing the phenomenon of family intimacy it was assumed that: 1) it is a product of culture and society that created it, 2) undergoes a similar transformation as they are, 3) there is a similarity between adult intimacy and intimacy of parent-child, 3) there is a similarity between adult intimacy and intimacy of parent-child, 4) the intimacy of a family creates its specific educational culture. The characteristics of the various models of the family draw attention to the conditions, objectives and status of intimacy in the analyzed periods, as well as the meaning and importance attached to the values that constituted the intimacy and constitute it in the twentyfirst century. The impact of adult intimacy on the relationship parents-children and family upbringing culture has been shown with particular attention to the dangers inherent in the postmodern family, and their impact on the socialization of the child in the family. The article is an attempt to present the scope and specifics of change of marital intimacy and parental one, and above all seeking to answer the question whether the twenty-first century European family certainly found it in the mutual relations of its members.

The article attempts to illustrate the social context of family life and its developmental potential in the decades of socialist realism in Poland in the light of S. E. Hobfoll’s resource theory. It was initially established that: 1) the family was subject to change and had different faces at different times, but also some common characteristics; 2) psychosocial characteristics of the family, its behavior, preferences, choices are understandable only in the context of the characteristics and properties of the whole system; 3) Family should be distinguished as an ideological-propaganda project from the family-product of everyday reality. Based on these assumptions and the theory of conservation of resources by S.E. Hobfoll it as attempted to discover and interpret the psychosocial behavior of the family in situations of stress and trauma, the source of which was the social context including effects of war, politic, propaganda and economic factors. The purpose of the analysis was to show the developmental potential of the family in the form of its external resources, which had an impact on its internal resources. It was particularly important to show the various adaptation strategies of the family to the prevailing living conditions, as they set the stage for development. An attempt was also made to identify the most important relationships among resources occurring in the family. The analysis was made on the basis of source materials, including personal documents (memories, letters), OBOP research and sociological and historical studies.
