Opis:
Research background: Previous studies on the economic and social development of urban agglomerations mostly focus on a single primacy comparative analysis and efficiency evaluation. Spatial structure differentiation is an important feature of urban agglomeration. The lack of economic and social analysis on the spatial structure makes it impossible to determine the development positioning of each city in the urban agglomeration, which affects the sustainable economic development ability of these areas. Purpose of the article: The objective of the article is to analyze the spatial development law and experience of urban agglomeration, this study explores the practice of economic and population spatial structure of city areas in China. For this purpose, CPUA and its central city Zhengzhou was taken as an example, the spatial gradient structure of example was analyzed. Methods: Using economic and population data of 32 cities in this region, growth pole theory, and pole-axis theory, the economic and population spatial structure of urban agglomeration, the spatial gradient structure of central cities in urban agglomerations were analyzed with the method of cluster about radiation index. Findings & value added: (1) In the process of the formation of CPUA, the geo-graphical spatial pattern plays a decisive role in economic and social development. This is an experience from developing countries. (2) CPUA presents a gradient development pattern with Zhengzhou as the center, and economic and social development gradually radiates to the metropolitan area, the core development area, and the character development demonstration area. (3) The economic and social gradients of Zhengzhou, the central city, present the hierarchy rules and characteristics which are driven by the Beijing-Guangzhou-Railway axis and the Longhai-Railway axis. (4) The central city of Zhengzhou still presents insufficient primacy in regional development, which shows that Zhengzhou accounts for 6% of the population of the Central Plains Economic Zone and 14% of GDP, and insufficient agglomeration. Different countries at different stages of economic development have different urban agglomeration development models. The conclusions from China provide new decision-making ideas and methods for spatial structure research and development strategy analysis of urban agglomerations.

In the calculation of the acoustic performance of mufflers, the walls of mufflers are usually treated rigidly without considering the acoustic-structural coupling, but the results so calculated differ significantly from the actual situation. Based on the basic equations, the article derives the finite element equations of the muffler system while considering the acoustic-structural coupling effect and theoretically analyses the connection between the acoustic-structural coupling system and the structural and acoustic modes. The structural and acoustic modes of the muffler are calculated and the reasons for the mutation of the transmission loss curve of the muffler when the acoustic-structural coupling is considered are analysed. The results show that the acoustic-structural coupling is the result of the interaction between the structure and the air inside the expansion chamber under acoustic excitation, which manifests mutations in the sound pressure inside the muffler in some frequency bands. Then, using a single-chamber muffler as an example, the transmission loss is used to characterise the performance of the muffler. The effects of different factors such as shell thickness, structure, porous media material lining, and restraint method on the acoustic-structural coupling effect of the muffler are analysed, and the structure of a double-chamber muffler is successfully optimised according to the conclusions.

Opis:
The transportation service for the cluster of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) is different with traditional vehicle routing problems. In the cluster of SMEs, parts of enterprises are pickup and delivery spots simultaneously, but some enterprises are partly pickup and delivery simultaneously. It is necessary to optimize this transportation service with an effective mathematics and algorithm to reduce transportation costs for manufacturers. However, traditional mathematics models and algorithms are not suitable to solve the vehicle routing problem partly simultaneous pickup and delivery (VRPPSD) because these items mainly focus on the vehicle routing problem with pickup and delivery simultaneously. In this paper, a mathematics operational model is proposed to analyze the transportation service of the cluster companies and to describe transportation processes. A hybrid algorithm which is composed by tabu search, genetic algorithm and local search is used to optimize the operational model. The crossover and mutation contained by genetic algorithm are used to generate neighborhood solutions for tabu search, and the local search is used to improve optimizing solutions. The data of a cluster of SMEs, investigating from Changzhou city, China, are employed to show the validity of our mathematical model and algorithm. The results indicate that our model and hybrid algorithm is effective to solve VRPPSD. In this paper, the satisfied solutions of VRPPSD are found by hybrid algorithm. At the same time, the results also show that carriers with optimal routs can service customers with more profits (increasing 5.6%). The potential saving of transport cost will increase profits of carriers in SMEs. Sensitivity analyses about adjusting service time and rate of new orders are lunched to analyze how these two factors influence the profits of the VRPPSPD in a dynamic case. A bottleneck that influences the profits is found, and there has a shorter service time which could increase gross profits, but not significantly.

Based on the respective characteristics of line-commutated converter highvoltage direct current (LCC-HVDC) and voltage-source converter high voltage direct current (VSC-HVDC), two additional emergency DC power support (EDCPS) controllers are designed, respectively. In addition a coordinated control strategy based on a hybrid multi-infeed HVDC system for EDCPS is proposed. Considering the difference in system recovery between LCC-HVDC and VSC-HVDC in EDCPS, according to the magnitude of the amount of potential power loss, the LCC-HVDC and VSC-HVDC priority issues of boosting power for EDCPS are discussed in detail. Finally, a hybrid three-infeed HVDC that consists of two parallel LCC-HVDCs and one VSC-HVDC that is built in PSCAD/EMTDC are simulated. The effectiveness of the proposed approach is verified based on this hybrid three-infeed HVDC system.

Gear pitting fault is one of the most common faults in mechanical transmission. Acoustic emission (AE) signals have been effective for gear fault detection because they are less affected by ambient noise than traditional vibration signals. To overcome the problem of low gear pitting fault recognition rate using AE signals and convolutional neural networks, this paper proposes a new method named augmented convolution sparse autoencoder (ACSAE) for gear pitting fault diagnosis using raw AE signals. First, the proposed method combines sparse autoencoder and one-dimensional convolutional neural networks for unsupervised learning and then uses the reinforcement theory to enhance the adaptability and robustness of the network. The ACSAE method can automatically extract fault features directly from the original AE signals without time and frequency domain conversion of the AE signals. AE signals collected from gear test experiments are used to validate the ACSAE method. The analysis result of the gear pitting fault test shows that the proposed method can effectively performing recognition of the gear pitting faults, and the recognition rate reaches above 98%. The comparative analysis shows that in comparison with fully-connected neural networks, convolutional neural networks, and recurrent neural networks, the ACSAE method has achieved a better diagnostic accuracy for gear fitting faults.
Pitting kół zębatych stanowi jedno z najczęstszych uszkodzeń przekładni mechanicznych. Do wykrywania takich uszkodzeń stosuje się sygnały emisji akustycznej (AE), które, ze względu na niższą wrażliwość na hałas otoczenia, stanowią skuteczniejsze narzędzie diagnostyczne niż tradycyjne sygnały wibracyjne. Wykrywalność zużycia guzełkowatego (pittingu) kół zębatych przy użyciu sygnałów AE i splotowych sieci neuronowych jest jednak niska. Aby rozwiązać ten problem, w niniejszym artykule zaproponowano nową metodę diagnozowania uszkodzeń kół zębatych za pomocą surowych sygnałów AE, którą nazwano augmented convolution sparse autoencoder (konwolucją rozszerzoną z wykorzystaniem autoenkodera rzadkiego, ACSAE). Jest to metoda samouczenia jednowymiarowych splotowych sieci neuronowych realizowanego za pomocą autoenkodera rzadkiego. Metoda ta wykorzystuje teorię wzmocnienia do zwiększania adaptacyjności i odporności sieci. Metoda ACSAE pozwala na automatyczne wyodrębnianie cech degradacji bezpośrednio z oryginalnych sygnałów AE bez konieczności ich konwersji do domeny czasu i częstotliwości. Walidację metody przeprowadzono na podstawie sygnałów AE otrzymanych w badaniach kół zębatych. Analiza wyników badań pittingu kół zębatych wskazuje, że proponowana metoda pozwala na skuteczną detekcję tego typu uszkodzeń, przy wskaźniku wykrywalności powyżej 98%. Analiza porównawcza pokazuje, że metoda ACSAE cechuje się większą trafnością diagnostyczną w wykrywaniu błędów montażowych kół zębatych w porównaniu z sieciami neuronowymi w pełni połączonymi, splotowymi i rekurencyjnymi.

Seasonal drought stress is common in farmland even under humid climate conditions. Low soil water content and high penetration resistance in clayey soil are both factors that limit crop growth, which is significantly affected by tillage. In a twoyear (2014-2015) field experiment conducted in Hubei, China, the effects of conventional tillage, along with occasional deep tillage and no-till, on the soil water content and penetration resistance values of red soil and on the crop water potentials of the maize crop (Zea mays L.) were tested. Compared to conventional tillage, deep tillage reduced the difference in the soil water characteristic curve between 0-40 cm soil layers, resulting in a more loose and homogeneous topsoil. The deep tillage significantly (p<0.05) decreased soil penetration resistance, increased soil-available water content and soil water content during the dry period, promoted an increase in maize root density by 11.4~31.6%, and increased the water potential of the maize root and leaf during most growth stages. In contrast, the effect of no-till was opposite to that of deep tillage, reducing maize grain yield by 25.3~26.3%. The results confirmed that no-till is not appropriate for the clayey red soil but rather that tillage is needed. This suggests that occasional deep tillage is helpful in mitigating seasonal crop drought stress under the conditions of a humid climate.

Opis:
A challenge for developing acoustic metamaterials (AMMs) is considering the application of broadband muffling and load bearing capacity simultaneously. In this paper, a honeycomb based graded AMM muffler is proposed, which can widen the attenuation band and improve the structural stiffness without any external device by means of integrated design. Firstly, the acoustic and mechanical characteristics of the muffler unit cell are theoretically and numerically studied, and the graded muffler is designed based on these characteristics. The numerical results show that the graded muffler widens the attenuation bandwidth of the unit cell, and the simulation also shows that the graded muffler has greater stiffness than the uniform one. The stiffness driven muffler provides new possibilities for the design of advanced metamaterial with simultaneous sound insulation and load bearing performances.

The unmanned underwater tracked bulldozer (UUTB) is an indispensable equipment for dredging and cleaning obstacles on the river bed in the flood season. The investigation on the interaction properties between the UUTB tracks and sediments provides foundation for the evaluation of operation performance when it works on the inland river bed. Based on the current worldwide research, the sediments mixed by sand, bentonite and water with sand content 0%, 10% and 20% were configured in this study to replace the real sediments on the inland river bed in China. The current pressure-sinkage model and shear stress-shear displacement model were discussed. Three different tracks were tested for the pressure-sinkage and the shear stress-shear displacement on the platform. The relationship between pressure and sinkage under sand content 0%, 10% and 20% are revealed based on the experimental results. The modulus of cohesive deformation and friction deformation of the sediments under said sand content are presented. The curves of shear stress and shear displacement are also obtained, which demonstrates the properties between the tracks and configured sediments under sand content 0%, 10% and 20%. The relationship between the tractive force and slip ratio with three different tracks under said sand content is also presented based on the quantitative analysis, which provides reference for the dynamics control and performance evaluation of UUTB on the inland river bed.

Analyzing the impact coefficient of tied arch bridges considering heavy transport vehicles is important for safety assessment. There are few studies on the vehicle-bridge coupled dynamic analysis involving heavy transport vehicles passing through bridges. In order to properly evaluate the impact coefficient of heavy transport vehicles passing through tied-arch bridges, this study takes an 80 m-span tied-arch bridge as an example. Based on the ANSYS platform, a vehicle-bridge coupling model under the load of low-speed heavy transport vehicles is established. By analyzing the vibration characteristics of the vehicle-bridge coupling system, the influence of vehicle speed and load on the impact coefficient of the bridge is discussed. The results show that even when the vehicle travels at a speed of 2 m/s under Class B roughness, the maximum impact coefficient reaches 0.061 when the vehicle is 4 m/s. When evaluating the passage of heavy transport vehicles over tied-arch bridges, the impact effect should be considered even at low speeds. The influence of vehicle load on the internal force impact coefficient of tied-arch bridges is greater than that of the displacement impact coefficient. When the vehicle load is large, the impact on the bridge is small, but an excessive increase in vehicle load will increase the burden on the bridge. A load of 400 t is considered a more ideal value.
