Opis:
Energies and transitions for allowed (E1) and forbidden (E2, M1, and M2) lines for low-lying configurations in magnesium-like tungsten $(W^{62+})$ are studied using the multiconfiguration Dirac-Hartree-Fock approach. It is shown that the correlations within the n=3 complex, quantum electrodynamic and Breit effects are very important for the calculation of fine structure energies. The present results are compared to and agree very well with other theoretical energies, wavelengths, transition probabilities and line strengths previously published for a few lines, and are generally found to be more reliable than previous theoretical predictions. The data for E2, M1, and M2 for transitions between the levels are presented as supplemental material. Results are also compared with other theory, when available.

Opis:
Energy levels, wavelengths, transition rates and line strengths are reported for the $2s^2$ $2p^3-2s2p^{4}$ transition array in Kr(XXX), Rb(XXXI) and Sr(XXXII). Wave functions were determined using the multiconfiguration Dirac-Fock method with account for valence and core-valence correlation effects. The present results are presented and compared with experimental data and with values from other calculations. The calculated values including core-valence correlation are in good agreement with other available theoretical and experimental values, and therefore can be used for the further astrophysical investigations.

Opis:
Soil acidification, fertility depletion, food insecurity, and environmental pollution all are consequences of the extensive use of chemical fertilizers (CF) in intensively managed plantations. Recent studies have shown that incorporating organic manure (OM) to partially replace CF can help to maintain productivity and soil health. There are no reports on integrated fertilizer management of Zanthoxylum armatum, for optimal ecological services and economic profitability. A pot experiment with Z. armatum was performed to investigate the possibility of incorporating OM in reducing CF use, enhancing soil fertility, and increasing plant growth. For this, seven treatments were designed: NPK, PK, NP, NK, OM, MNPK (50%NPK+50%OM), and control (CK, no fertilizer application). The results showed that NPK application significantly (P < 0.05) increased plant growth, soil nitrate-N, ammonium-N and available K compared to CK. However conventional CF application induced soil acidification. OM application raised the soil pH from 5.50 (CK) to 6.58 and significantly enhanced soil fertility by increasing alkali-hydrolysable N (2.3 times), ammonium-N (1.4 times), available P (4.3 times), the activity of invertase (1.5 times), catalase (2.8 times), acid phosphatase (1.5 times), and count of soil culturable microbes (2.9 times) compared to CK. Conversely, sole OM application did not result in optimum plant growth. Integrating OM with NPK (MNPK), on the other hand, not only provided the highest growth comprehensive value (0.84), but also substantially higher soil fertility comprehensive value (0.71) than traditional CF treatments. Correlation analysis also indicated a positive and significant correlation between soil microbes, enzyme activities and available nutrients. Therefore, OM+NPK could be an optimum measure to get maximum benefits regarding soil fertility, growth of Z. armatum, fertilizer savings and sustainable agroecology.

Opis:
A scheme for real-time optical demultiplexing is proposed by utilizing the time-broadened and linearly chirped pulses instead of the conventional mode-locked pulses. The copies of the optical-time-division-multiplexed signal are acquired through a dual-pump parametric gate and used as the parametric multicast block. Simulation results show that the demultiplexing from 160 Gb/s down to sixteen 10 Gb/s tributaries can be achieved only by using a sampling source of 10 GHz. The proposed scheme can effectively reduce the complexity of parallel processing, and find important applications in the high-speed all-optical signal processing.

Opis:
Tests of the T, CP and CPT symmetries in the neutral kaon system are performed by the direct comparison of the probabilities of a kaon transition process to its symmetry-conjugate. The exchange of in and out states required for a genuine test involving an antiunitary transformation implied by time-reversal is implemented exploiting the entanglement of $K^{0}{\bar{K}}^{0}$ pairs produced at a $\phi$-factory. A data sample collected by the KLOE experiment at DAΦNE corresponding to an integrated luminosity of about 1.7 fb$^{−1}$ is analysed to study the Δt distributions of the $\phi \to K_{S}K_{L} \to \pi^{+}\pi^{-}\pi^{\pm}e^{\mp}v$ and $\phi \to K_{S}K_{L} \to \pi^{\pm}e^{\mp}v 3\pi^{0}$ processes, with Δt the difference of the kaon decay times. A comparison of the measured Δt distributions in the asymptotic region Δt $\gg \tau _{S}$ allows to test for the first time T and CPT symmetries in kaon transitions with a precision of few percent, and to observe CP violation with this novel method.

Opis:
The ratio $\mathcal{R}=\Gamma (K_{S} \to \pi ev)/\Gamma (K_{S} \to \pi ^{+}\pi ^{-})$ has been measured with a sample of 300 million $K_{S}$ mesons produced in $\phi \to K_{L}K_{S}$ decays recorded by the KLOE experiment at the DAΦNE e$^{+}$e$^{-}$ collider. $K_{S} \to \pi ev$ events are selected by a boosted decision tree built with kinematic variables and time-of-flight measurements. Data control samples of $K_{L} \to \pi ev$ decays are used to evaluate signal selection efficiencies. With 49647 ± 316 signal events we measure $\mathcal{R}$ = (1.0421 ± 0.0066$_{stat}$ ± 0.0075$_{syst}) \times$ 10$^{−3}$. The combination with our previous measurement gives $\mathcal{R}$ = (1.0338 ± 0.0054$_{stat}$ ± 0.0064$_{syst}) \times$ 10$^{−3}$. From this value we derive the branching fraction $\mathcal{B}(K_{S} \to \pi ev)$ = (7.153 ± 0.037$_{stat}$ ± 0.044$_{syst}) \times$ 10$^{−4}$ and f$_{+}$(O) $\left|V_{us} \right|$ = 0.2170 ± 0.009.

Opis:
We present a measurement of the doubly radiative decay $\eta \to \pi^{0}\gamma \gamma$ based on a sample of 82 million $\eta$ mesons produced in the $e^{+}e^{-} \to \phi \to \eta\gamma$ process at the Frascati $\phi$-factory DAΦNE. From the data analysis, 1246 ± 133 signal events were observed. By normalising the signal to the well-known $\eta \to 3\pi^{0}$ decay the branching fraction $\mathcal{B}(\eta \to \pi^{0}\gamma \gamma)$ is measured to be (0.98 ± 0.11$_{stat}$ ± 0.14$_{syst}$) $\times$ 10$^{−4}$. This result agrees with a preliminary KLOE measurement, but is a factor of two smaller than the current world average. Results for $d\Gamma(\eta \to \pi^{0}\gamma \gamma)/dM^{2}(\gamma\gamma)$ are also presented and compared with the latest theoretical predictions.
