Opis:: In this paper the diagnostic methods used to detect failures in the drive systems with induction motors are described. Compensation techniques of electric motor drives components failures are presented. Advantages and disadvantages of commonly used methods are described. Additionally, diagnostic systems that can be successfully used in the studies of failures to the current and angular velocity sensors are described.

Opis:: In the paper, an analysis is made of the stator current sensor fault detector based on artificial neural network for vector controlled induction motor drive system. The systems with different learning algorithms and structures are analyzed and tested in different drive conditions. Simulation results are obtained in direct torque control algorithm (DTC-SVM) and performed in MATLAB/SimPowerSystem software.

Opis:: Chosen speed and current sensor fault detectors for a vector controlled induction motor drive system have been presented. Systems based on the artificial intelligence (neural network) and simple algorithmic systems were analyzed and tested in various drive conditions. The influence of chosen sensor faults on performance of the drive system has been presented. The compensation strategy was proposed and tested. A fault tolerant drive, based on hardware redundancy, has been developed and presented. Simulation and experimental results are obtained in direct field oriented control algorithm (DFOC) on the laboratory set-up with rapid prototyping card Micro Lab Box DS1202 by dSpace.

Opis:: W artykule przedstawiono możliwości wykorzystania adaptacyjnego regulatora neuronowo rozmytego (ANFC – Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Controller) pracującego w charakterze kompensatora, w układzie bezpośredniego sterowania momentem elektromagnetycznym (DTC-SVM – Direct Torque Control)) silnika indukcyjnego o zwiększonym stopniu bezpieczeństwa. Wykonano badania ilustrujące wpływ połączenia układu adaptacyjnego z klasycznym regulatorem liniowym typu PI w torze regulacji prędkości kątowej na jakość pracy napędu podczas zmiany topologii sterowania, wywołanej uszkodzeniem czujnika prędkości kątowej. Badania wykonano w środowisku Sim Power System.
In the paper the fault tolerant drive system with adaptive neuro – fuzzy compensator (ANFC) is presented. The Direct Torque Control algorithm was applied and tested during the faulted conditions. Simulation results of the vector controlled induction motor drive with PI controller and ANFC during the topology changing is presented. To the flux and rotor speed reconstruction MRAS type estimator is used. Simulation results are performed in Sim Power System.

Opis:: W artykule opisano zagadnienia detekcji i identyfikacji uszkodzeń czujników prądu stojana w układach wektorowego sterowania polowo zorientowanego (DFOC) silnikiem indukcyjnym. The issue of identifying stator current sensor fault is described. Diagnostic system based on simple algorithmic relations between measured currents is analyzed and tested in different drive conditions. An influence of the chosen sensor faults to the performance of drive system is presented. Simulation results are obtained in direct field oriented control algorithm (DFOC) and performed in MATLAB/SimPowerSystem software.

Opis:: In the paper the concept of safety vector controlled drive system with induction motor is presented. The speed sensor fault detector, based on the neural network, is described and tested in vector controlled (DFOC) induction motor drive.
