W artykule opisano działanie systemu antykradzieżowego sieci jezdnej, którego zastosowanie ograniczy przypadki kradzieży przewodów jezdnych i lin nośnych oraz elementów układów naprężających. Wdrożenie systemu umożliwi nie tylko ograniczenie strat fi nansowych powodowanych dewastacją i kradzieżami infrastruktury, ale również zdecydowanie poprawi bezpieczeństwo pracowników, pasażerów i osób postronnych. Stały monitoring parametrów sieci jezdnej oraz przekazywanie (w czasie rzeczywistym) sygnałów alarmowych do odpowiednich służb (SOK i Policja) zapewni wysoką skuteczność systemu. Dodatkowo, stworzenie układu zasilania urządzeń montowanych na sieci jezdnej (lub w jej pobliżu), który nie ma galwanicznego połączenia z siecią trakcyjną zwiększy niezawodność i dyspozycyjność systemów zasilania trakcji elektrycznej.

Opis:
The given article presents the results of the development of algorithms for the operation of elements of the anti-theft system of the contact line dedicated to limit the cases of theft of contact and catenary wires and elements of tensioning devices. The implementation of the system not only reduces the financial losses caused by devastation and theft of infrastructure, but also significantly improves the safety of employees, passengers and bystanders. Constant monitoring of the parameters of the overhead contact line and the transmission of alarm signals in real time to the relevant services (SOK and Police) ensures high efficiency of the system. In addition, the creation of a power supply system for devices mounted on (or near) the contact line, which does not have a galvanic connection to the overhead line, will increase the reliability and availability of traction power supply systems.

Opis:
The article deals with the problems of handling used motor oils on the railways of Ukraine. At the moment, this waste is transferred to other enterprises for disposal. But, based on international experience, it is advisable to be regenerated directly at the enterprise where it is formed. The purpose of this work is to develop a modern scheme for oil waste disposal. In this regard, various indicators were investigated, reflecting both the operational suitability of oils and their toxicological parameters. As a result, we proposed a scheme and selected special equipment for handling the used engine oils, which allows to reduce the technogenic load associated with their accumulation, handling and minimization, contributes to the return of oil to the technological process. The calculated value of the conditional environmental effect and the approximate payback period allowed us to draw conclusions about the undoubted environmental and economic effect of implementing the proposed scheme.

Opis:
Processing of metals by cutting under modern conditions becomes impossible without the use of effective cutting fluids. The main purpose of cutting fluids is cooling, lubrication of the workpiece processing area. Spent emulsion is a special type of wastewater, very dangerous to the environment, as it contains a large number of persistently emulsified petroleum products. The methods using various surfactants were tested for the cutting fluid disposal. The obtained results allowed proposing a general flow diagram of treatment of spent cutting fluids, as well as a block diagram of their purification. After processing the spent cutting fluids according to the proposed diagram, two products were obtained, namely water and sludge. This technology can be used in metalworking shops of railway enterprises, as well as the enterprises of machine-building, metallurgical and other industries where CF-effluents are formed within the wastewater complex. It will provide both an economic result through the reuse of water and will give a significant environmental effect by minimizing the amount of hazardous waste.

Opis:
The analysis of the problem of innovative transformation of power supply networks of railways made it possible to scientifically substantiate the direction of research related to an optimal strategy for computer monitoring and intellectualization of the processes of power supply of traction substations of railways. Conceptual approaches to the formation of a new model of intellectualization of power supply networks have been developed. Differential models of high organization of synchronous vector measurements are proposed, allowing to determine the comprehensive information content of the primary data. Based on the concept of smart energy, a set of differential models and methods of harmonic and correlation analysis of anomalous and transient processes occurring in power systems has been developed. The REGINA computer system has been designed and manufactured to carry out, in real-time, intelligent monitoring, diagnostics, identification of accidents, optimization of power consumption and expanding the range of market services in managing railway power supply networks. The REGINA system complies with the requirements of ISO 9001: 2015 and the German certification body DOS. Many actual results obtained during the operation of the REGINA on the railways are presented.

Opis:
When comparing the performance indicators of electrical networks with different types of neutral grounding, along with the fulfilment of the requirement to ensure reliability of power supply to consumers, serious attention is drawn to the main network parameters influencing the performance of power supply systems. Analysis of research and its results, reported above, on the influence of the neutral ground of power networks on the reliability and electrical safety conditions of the power supply systems as a whole, on the damage of distribution networks and electrical equipment as well as on the working capacity of relay protection devices, provides an opportunity to estimate each specific operation mode of the neutral and to develop recommendations aimed at strengthening the positive indicators of the corresponding modes. Other things being equal, reliability of power supply to electrical receivers or reliability of distribution networks is mainly determined by the damage to network elements and the performance of relay protection devices. The degree of influence of these factors on the reliability of distribution networks depends on the neutral mode, which in turn determines the level of internal overvoltages and the nature of transient processes at earth fault.

In recent years, electric and hybrid vehicles have taken more and more attention due to their apparent advantages in saving fuel resources and reducing harmful emissions into the environment. Even though electric vehicles can solve the ecological problem, their operation is faced with a number of inconveniences associated with a limited driving distance from a single charge due to limited storage of energy from an independent power source and a lack of the required service and repair infrastructure. In hybrid and electric vehicles one of the main parameters is the curb weight, which affects energy consumption, vehicle speed, stability, controllability and maneuverability. In this regard, leading car manufacturers use parts with a low specific weight (non-metallic, aluminum alloys, etc.) in the design and also exclude some units from the design. Due to these technical solutions, the vehicle's operating is improved. One of the groups of parameters to be defined when designing a new electric vehicle is the parameters relating to the electric motor. The purpose of the article is determination of the mechanical characteristics of a two-rotor electric motor during magnetic flux control and assessment of the possibility of organizing the drive of the drive wheels of the vehicle. The electric motor has two mechanically independent outputs. For the study, an electrical equivalent diagram has been developed for the given two-rotor electric motor. A simulation model of the equivalent diagram has been built. Simulating the interaction processes of the rotors with the stator made it possible to obtain data for building the mechanical characteristics for each output of the electric motor. Analysis and processing of the mechanical characteristics data of the electric motors showed the conformity and the range of changes in the torque on each of the rotors when changing their slip and revolution, which are required when building algorithms for the operation of electric motor control systems as part of drives for various purposes. Analysis of the simulation results made it possible to assess the possibility of using the considered two-rotor electric motor for the drive of drive wheels in an electric and hybrid wheeled vehicle.

Opis:
The paper represents laboratory bench to analyse a system of automated control with a fuzzy controller. The laboratory bench consists of a thermal object, and software and hardware complex involving logic controller VIPA System 200 V as well as HMI / SCADA system Zenon Supervisor 7.0. The thermal object is described with the help of the second-order differential equation using “current value within the power converter of electric heater-air temperature inside a thermal object” control channel. Coefficients of the differential equation depend upon location of a dampener and upon rotation frequency of a centrifugal fan. Control error (ie deviation between the specified temperature value within the thermal object and its current value), and derivative of the error, represented in the form of linguistic variables involving five triangular terms and two trapezoidal (extreme) ones have been used as the input values of the fuzzy controller. Output value of the fuzzy controller is the electric power supplied to the electric heater and assuming seven specified values. Selection of the specific value of electric power depends upon knowledge base being a finite set of rules of fuzzy sets falling into line with the applied linguistic variables. To implement such a system of automated control with a fuzzy controller, original software has been developed making it possible to analyze a process of thermal object heating with the use of human-computer interface. Interaction algorithm of certain program elements has been described. Experimental results, concerning the thermal object transfer from different initial conditions to terminal ones, have been demonstrated. A dependence of mean-square error of the controlled value upon the control period has been demonstrated.

The peculiarities of the operation of distributed generation systems lead to a change in the requirements for the reliability and safety of the power distribution systems in which they are integrated. To meet the increased requirements, continuous monitoring of the insulation parameters (active resistance and capacitance to ground) is often used with operating artificial non-industrial frequency operational signals introduced into the network. In the case of a sudden touch, such a system is not effective, since the response time of the protection device, which consists of the signal processing time and the operating of the actuator, is crucially important. For the used operational signals with a frequency of 100 and 200 Hz, the processing time using the Fourier transform is 10 ms for 100 Hz and 5 ms for 200 Hz. Considering that the response time of the fastest actuators (based on vacuum switches) is from 3 to 7 ms, this is a rather significant period of time. To develop an effective resolver system, the capabilities of the Matlab environment were used to determine the most successful design of an analog prototype (Butterworth, Bessel, Chebyshev and Cauer of 6th order) for an operational signal with a frequency of 200 Hz. As a result, the processing time was established, which varies widely from 3.5 to 19 ms. Taking into account the known indicators, namely the frequency and number of operational signals, a signal processing system was developed using the vector-matrix analysis method. As a result of modeling the processing characteristics of functional signals (at a sampling rate of 1 kHz), the system quick-response was 3 ms, with the possibility of its further decrease as its productiveness increases.
