Opis:
With the vigorous development of maritime traffic, the importance of maritime navigation safety is increasing day by day. Ship trajectory extraction and analysis play an important role in ensuring navigation safety. At present, the DBSCAN (density-based spatial clustering of applications with noise) algorithm is the most common method in the research of ship trajectory extraction, but it has shortcomings such as missing ship trajectories in the process of trajectory division. The improved multi-attribute DBSCAN algorithm avoids trajectory division and greatly reduces the probability of missing sub-trajectories. By introducing the position, speed and heading of the ship track point, dividing the complex water area and vectorising the ship track, the function of guaranteeing the track integrity can be achieved and the ship clustering effect can be better realised. The result shows that the cluster fitting effect reaches up to 99.83%, which proves that the multi-attribute DBSCAN algorithm and cluster analysis algorithm have higher reliability and provide better theoretical guidance for the analysis of ship abnormal behaviour.

Opis:
With the rapid development of the wind energy industry, there is an increasing concern about operation safety and reliability of high-strength wind turbine bolts. The aim of this paper is to monitor the strain change around the cracks in wind turbine bolts by means of fiber Bragg grating (FBG) sensors for crack detection. Firstly, the strain distributions of wind turbine bolts’ cracks with different locations and angles in the service condition are simulated using finite element analysis (FEA). Then, three-point grating string FBG sensors were pasted on the surface of wind turbine bolts with fatigue cracks to monitor the strain changes around the cracks in real time. By analysing the monitored strain data elaborately, the location of the crack on the bolt surface was successfully detected by identifying the location of the maximum strain detected by FBG sensors. In addition, the strain distributions in the vicinity area of the crack at different angles (0◦, 45◦and 90◦) were also monitored and analysed in depth. The different types of crack angles could be distinguished based on of different strain distribution of the vicinity of the crack tip at different angles. The experimental results show that the FBG sensing technology has a high degree of sensitivity and accuracy in crack detection of high-strength wind turbine bolts.

Opis:
Looseness of high-strength wind turbine bolts is one of the main types of mechanical failure that threaten the quality and safety of wind turbines, and how to non-destructively detect bolt loosening is essential to accurate assessment of operational reliability of wind turbine structures. Therefore, to address the issue of looseness detection of high-strength wind turbine bolts, this paper proposes a non-destructive detection method based on digital image correlation (DIC). Firstly, the mathematical relationships between the in-plane displacement component of the bolt’s nut surface, the bolt’s preload force loss and the bolt loosening angle are both deduced theoretically. Then, experimental measurements are respectively conducted with DIC with different small bolt loosening angles. The results show that the bolt loosening angle detection method based on DIC has a detection accuracy of over 95%, and the bolt’s preload force loss evaluated by the deduced relationship has a good agreement with the empirical value. Therefore, the proposed DIC-based bolt loosening angle detection method can meet the requirements of engineering inspection, and can achieve quantitative assessment of preload forces loss of wind turbine bolt.

Opis:
The Turán number of a graph H, denoted by ex(n, H), is the maximum number of edges of an n-vertex simple graph having no H as a subgraph. Let S denote the star on ℓ + 1 vertices, and let k · S denote k disjoint copies of Sℓ. Erdős and Gallai determined the value ex(n, k · S1) for all positive integers k and n. Yuan and Zhang determined the value ex(n, k · S2) and characterized all extremal graphs for all positive integers k and n. Recently, Lan et al. determined the value ex(n, 2 · S3) for all positive integers n, and Li and Yin determined the values ex(n, k · S) for k = 2, 3 and all positive integers ℓ and n. In this paper, we further determine the value ex(n, 4 · S) for all positive integers ℓ and almost all n, improving one of the results of Lidický et al.

Opis:
In order to obtain the hydrodynamic coefficients that can save cost and meet the accuracy requirements, a new hydrodynamic test platform based on a 6DoF (six degrees of freedom) parallel mechanism is proposed in this paper. The test platform can drive the ship to move in six degrees of freedom. By using this experimental platform, the corresponding hydrodynamic coefficients can be measured. Firstly, the structure of the new device is introduced. The working principle of the model is deduced based on the mathematical model. Then the hydrodynamic coefficients of a test ship model of a KELC tank ship with a scale of 1:150 are measured and 8 typical hydrodynamic coefficients are obtained. Finally, the measured data are compared with the value of a real ship. The deviation is less than 10% which meets the technical requirements of the practical project. The efficiency of measuring the hydrodynamic coefficients of physical models of ships and offshore structures is improved by the device. The method of measuring the hydrodynamic coefficients by using the proposed platform provides a certain reference for predicting the hydrodynamic performance of ships and offshore structures.

Opis:
In gold ore, quartz plays an important role in mineral formation by acting as the follower. Understanding counterion release, transport, and deposition in alkali solution is a prerequisite for evaluating the potential role of gold separate from quartz deposits in pretreatment. In this work, the aggregation, retention, and release of counterion in alkali solution media were investigated by kinetic research and pure mineral experiments, the correlation and mechanism of these processes were revealed by combining geochemical theory, interaction energy calculation, and quantum chemistry. The results showed that the retention and release of counterion were closely related to the dissolution and corrosion rate of quartz. The NH4+ and Fe2+ with higher mineral affinity reduced the quartz stability, and the dispersion stability and mobility of the quartz were greatly improved by an alkaline substance due to the enhancement of steric hindrance effects. Quantum chemical calculation results show that ammonium ion promotes the dissolution of quartz stronger than ferrous ion, which is mainly reflected in reducing the activation energy required for the formation of transition state (TS1), which can be verified by kinetic calculation. These findings provide essential insight into the extraction of gold coated by quartz as well as a vital reference for the experiment of gold-loaded quartz leaching in mineral processing.

Opis:
The time-dependent Ginzburg-Landau equations have been solved numerically by a finite element analysis for the mesoscopic superconducting samples with cylindrical shape in a uniform axial magnetic field. We obtain the different vortex patterns as a function of the applied field perpendicular to its surface. We find that multi-vortex states are ground state in three-dimensional mesoscopic cylinders. These results show that our approach is an effective and useful to interpret experimental data on vortex states in the mesoscopic superconductors.

Opis:
A hybrid watermarking algorithm with an optical watermark image based on singular value decomposition (SVD) ghost imaging is designed. Simultaneously, the blended watermarking algorithm is designed based on 4-level discrete wavelet transform (DWT), discrete cosine transform (DCT) and singular value decomposition (SVD). The 4-level diagonal sub-band image is obtained by performing 4-level two-dimensional wavelet transform on the original image, and the coefficient matrix is produced by applying the discrete cosine transform on the 4-level diagonal sub-band image. Then, three matrices are obtained by performing the singular value decomposition on the coefficient matrix. In addition, the optical watermark image is encrypted by an SVD ghost imaging system. The system could generate a secret key, and unauthorized users could not decrypt and reconstruct the original watermark image without this key. Later the encrypted watermark image is generated into the other three matrices by singular value decomposition. Afterwards, the encrypted watermark is embedded in the host image by mutual operation of different matrices in the algorithm. Simulation results validate the feasibility of the proposed hybrid watermarking scheme.

Opis:
In order to solve the issues of high muzzle flash, smoke, residue, migration rate and carcinogenicity of double-base oblate propellants deterred by dibutyl phthalate (DBP), skin-core structure microporous oblate propellants to replace DBP deterring technology were fabricated in the present work by supercritical carbon dioxide (SC-CO2) foaming technology. Poly(neopentanediol adipate) (NA) was employed as the deterrent to modify the combustion properties because of ist lower migration rate in storage. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) was used to observe the morphology of the microporous oblate propellants generated by different processing conditions, and the combustion properties were investigated by closed bomb tests. The SEM images indicated that the skin region displayed smaller cell diameters and lower cell density compared with cells in the core region. The closed bomb tests demonstrated that it was feasible to adjust the progressive combustion performance by controlling the skin-core structure and the NA deterred layer. The burning time values of the original, the microcellular, and the NA deterred samples were 3.45, 2.14, and 4.20 ms, respectively. Microcellular oblate propellants, with a skin-core structure foamed by SC-CO2 and deterred by NA, provides a novel and promising method to realize progressive combustion performance.
