Cyberspace has emerged as a new theatre of international conflict, equivalent to other spaces like air, land and sea. This places states in the position of answering the new questions posed in demand for national security in this new field. One of the crucial issues emerging is the anonymity of cyber attackers and offenders. Nation states and various other organisations are forced to respond to those challenges. One of the most important aspects of responding to a threat is knowing the adversary. Without an attribution of cybercrime in international security no serious and professional counter strategy may work. This paper gives an overview how various disciplines address the attribution and profiling question and offers a theoretical concept of combining various theories to provide a cross-disciplinary concept of attributing cyber offences. - Dostawca treści:
