Opis:
A simple and coumarin-based fluorescence probe has been designed and synthesized with silyl group as recognition group of fluoride ions (F−) in this study. The results showed that the fluorescence intensity of the probe displayed prominent enhancement with addition of F− at 445 nm with incubation of 1 min. There was an excellent linear relationship between fluorescence intensity and fluoride concentration from 0 to 30 μM (0~0.57 ppm), which offered the important condition for the quantitative analysis. In addition, the highly selective response to fluorion, the low detection limit with 28 nM (0.532 ppb), low toxicity and bioimaging afforded an advantage for practical application and detecting fluoride in biological systerms.

Opis:
Multituberculates are the most diverse and best known group of Mesozoic mammals; they also persisted into the Paleogene and became extinct in the Eocene, possibly outcompeted by rodents that have similar morphological and presumably ecological adaptations. Among the Paleogene multituberculates, those that have the largest body sizes belong to taeniolabidoids, which contain several derived species from North America and Asia and some species with uncertain taxonomic positions. Of the known taeniolabidoids, the poorest known taxon is Sphenopsalis nobilis from Mongolia and Inner Mongolia, China, represented previously by a few isolated teeth. Its relationship with other multituberculates thus has remained unclear. Here we report new specimens of Sphenopsalis nobilis collected from the upper Paleocene of the Erlian Basin, Inner Mongolia, China, during a multi-year field effort beginning in 2000. These new specimens document substantial parts of the dental, partial cranial and postcranial morphologies of Sphenopsalis, including the upper and lower incisors, partial premolars, complete upper and lower molars, a partial rostrum, fragments of the skull roof, middle ear cavity, a partial scapula, and partial limb bones. With the new specimens we are able to present a detailed description of Sphenopsalis, comparisons among relevant taeniolabidoids, and brief phylogenetic analyses based on a dataset consisting of 43 taxa and 102 characters. In light of the new evidence, we assess the phylogenetic position of Sphenopsalis and re-establish the family Lambdopsalidae. The monophyly of Taeniolabidoidea is supported in all our phylogenetic analyses. Within Taeniolabidoidea the Asian lambdopsalids and the North American taeniolabidids represent two significantly different trends of adaptations, one characterized by shearing (lambdopsalids) and the other by crushing and grinding (taeniolabidids) in mastication, which supports their wider systematic separation, as speculated when Sphenopsalis was named.

Opis:
The tufted carpet stop mark is an important factor affecting carpet final quality. It is closely related to the change in yarn tension caused by the tufting machine being improperly stopped and the yarn creep properties. The purpose of this paper is to develop a reasonable approach to eliminate the tufted carpet stop mark. Focusing on a typical tufting machine, the tufting equipment system and basic working principle of tufted carpet are briefly described. A yarn path flexing model which integrates yarn feeding parts, yarn guiders and the tufting needle for a typical tufting process is constructed. The yarn tension change is analysed along with the change in the yarn path. A Polypropylene yarn four-component model is used for analysing the relationship between tension and yarn creep properties. The creep property of polypropylene yarn under a certain tension is verified by experiments. According to the yarn tension change in different running positions of the tufting needle, a reasonable method of eliminating the stop mark which stops and restarts the machine in the highest position is put forward. Finally the experimental results prove that the method is effective and feasible.

Opis:
A new genus and species of Tritylodontidae, Yuanotherium minor, is described and compared with other known tritylodontids. The new taxon is represented by a partially preserved upper jaw with three postcanines, collected from the upper part of the Shishugou Formation (Oxfordian, Late Jurassic) in the Wucaiwan area of the Junggar Basin, northwestern Xinjiang, China. Like other tritylodontids its maxillary teeth have three rows of blade−like trenchant cusps separated by deep furrows. The new species differs from other tritylodontids mainly in having posteriormost two cusps of the median row on upper postcanines closely placed. The new tritylodontid may have been omnivorous rather than herbivorous, as previously suggested for tritylodontids in general.

Opis:
Amorphous Cu-Zn-Sn-S precursor films were prepared by sol-gel and spin-coating with copper chloride, zinc chloride, tin chloride and thiourea solutions as starting materials. A $Cu_2ZnSnS_4$ film with kesterite structure and a small amount of chlorine formed when the precursor was annealed under Ar ambient at temperature above 200°C, but its atomic ratios of Cu:Zn:Sn:S far deviated from stoichiometric ratios of the $Cu_2ZnSnS_4$. However, when the precursor films were annealed with sulfur powder together at temperatures between 360 and 480°C, the CZTS film containing a very small amount of Cl formed, and its atomic ratio change little for Cu, Zn, and Sn, increases for S and decreases for Cl with increasing temperature. When the temperature is 480°C, a CZTS only has Cu, Zn, Sn, and S element is fabricated, and the atomic ratio of Cu:Zn:Sn:S is near the stoichiometric ratio. The bandgap of the CZTS decreases with increasing annealing temperature. The mechanisms of the formation and the properties of the CZTS are suggested in the present work.

Opis:
Three kinds of precursor thin films with stacking orders of Cu/Sn/ZnS, Cu/Sn/ZnS/Cu/Sn/ZnS and Cu/Sn/ZnS/Cu/Sn/ZnS/Cu/Sn/ZnS were prepared by magnetron sputtering and annealed with sulfur powder. The microstructure, morphology and optical properties of thin films were investigated by X-ray diffraction, the Raman scattering, scanning electron microscopy and UV-visible spectrophotometer. The increase of cycle number decreases the sulfurizing temperature of the formation of Cu₂ZnSnS₄ phase. Chemical composition can be controlled by cycle sputtering deposition. After sulfurizing at 500°C, the particle size and the band gap increase with increasing cycle number.

Opis:
The introduction of anions and cations into energetic materials can significantly improve their physicochemical and energetic properties. The K, Zn, Ba, Cu and Pb salts of 1,1,2,2-tetranitraminoethane (TNAE) were synthesized using TNAE as the starting material, and were characterized by IR spectroscopy, NMR spectroscopy and elemental analysis. All of the energetic salts exhibited relatively high thermal stabilities (decomposition temperatures ranging from 195.1 °C to 279.3 °C) and high densities (ranging from 2.1 g·cm–3 to 3.7 g·cm–3). It was demonstrated that the introduction of metal ions conveys better thermal stability than covalent TNAE itself. More importantly, the Zn, Ba and Cu salts exhibited good thermal stability, high density, low sensitivity, and therefore have the potential to be a new class of insensitive, highly energetic explosives for practical applications.

Opis:
$Fe_{75}Co_5Zr_{10}B_{10}$ amorphous alloy prepared by melt-spinning was annealed at various temperatures. The thermal property and microstructures were investigated by differential thermal analysis, X-ray diffraction, and transmission electron microscopy. The crystallization process of $Fe_{75}Co_5Zr_{10}B_{10}$ amorphous alloy is complex. The α-Fe phase precipitates from the amorphous matrix in the initial stage of crystallization. The α-Mn type (χ) phase precipitates at 570°C, but transforms to α-Fe phase and the Laves C14(λ) phase at higher temperature. In the final stage of crystallization, $Fe_3Zr$, $Fe_2Zr$, and unknown phases are observed and the λ-phase disappears. The α-Fe phase preferentially nucleates after annealing at 530C for 10 min and the χ-phase preferentially nucleates after annealing at 600C for 10 min. The nucleation barrier of χ-phase is larger than that of α-Fe phase. The local structure of χ-phase is more similar to amorphous phase.
