Opis:
Real time processing enables online reactions to dynamic environment changes. The author focuses on possibilities of implementing the Finite Element Method (FEM) to real time algorithms on microcontrollers. The paper presents the current state of the Real Time Finite Element Method (RTFEM) and describes results obtained by the author. The RTFEM for microcontrollers (with examples of use cases) is presented and results of the computations for the chosen platform are given. The results consider optimization of RTFEM computational algorithms for a microcontroller taking into account their execution time. All the tests were performed on the ARM-CortexM4F based STM32F429ZIT6 microcontroller. The obtained results were compared, discussed and presented in the paper.

Opis:
Spółka Restrukturyzacji Kopalń S.A. Zakład Centralny Zakład Odwadniania Kopalń (CZOK) z siedzibą w Czeladzi powołany został w związku z koniecznością prowadzenia odwadniania zlikwidowanych kopalń, w celu ochrony przed zatopieniem kopalń istniejących. Zakład CZOK odwadnia 15 zlikwidowanych kopalń węgla kamiennego. W 2008 roku Zakład CZOK przystąpił do projektu odzyskiwania ciepła z wód kopalnianych. W ramach projektu zdecydowano o wybudowaniu pierwszej w Polsce instalacji centralnego ogrzewania z wykorzystaniem pomp ciepła, w której źródło ciepła stanowi woda pompowana ze zlikwidowanej kopalni – w tym przypadku Kopalni „Saturn” w Czeladzi. Na realizację projektu pozyskano środki finansowe z dotacji budżetowej oraz z projektu REMINING – LOWEX, współfinansowanego przez Unię Europejską. Inwestycja obejmowała kompleksową termomodernizację budynku administracji CZOK i zastąpienie ogrzewania elektrycznego energią cieplną z wody kopalnianej. Zastosowane przez Zakład CZOK przedsięwzięcie jest innowacyjnym i ekologicznym rozwiązaniem. Otwiera ono perspektywy jego wykorzystania w znacznie szerszej skali m.in. do ogrzewania zespołu budynków i budowli, osiedli mieszkaniowych, obiektów użyteczności publicznej itp., co wpłynie na poprawę stanu środowiska poprzez zmniejszenie emisji szkodliwych gazów do atmosfery.
Spółka Restrukturyzacji Kopalń S.A. Zakład Centralny Zakład Odwadniania Kopalń (CZOK) based in Czeladź was created to dewaterate closed coal mines, in order to protect existing mines from beeing flooded. The CZOK dewaters 15 closed coal mines. In 2008 the CZOK joined the water’s mine heat recovery project. This project involved construction of the first central heating system based on heat pumps that use energy from mine’s water in Poland. The innovation of this investment consist of recovering heat from the mine’s water. The project is situated in a flooded ‘Saturn’ coal mine in Czeladź. The realisation of the project was possible thanks to the financial backing of European Union project REMINING – LOWEX (Redevelopment of European Mining Areas into Sustainable Communities by Integrating Supply and Demand Side based on Low Energy Principles). The investment involves complex thermo-modernisation of CZOK’s administration building and replacement of the electric heating by geothermal energy. The presented project is an innovative and ecological solution – it can improve condition of the environment by reducing the emission of harmful gases into the atmosphere. Additionaly, the same kind of instalation can be reused in many other cases, to heating for example residential complexes, schools, institutions or factories.

In 1918–1939 in the voivodship of Łódź there was a multi-stage, hierarchical structure, social bodies supervising the operation of primary public education. All the institutions covered the area of the whole voivodship, individual counties, municipalities and towns where the elementary schools were established. They were selected in a similar way – the members were selected and appointed because of their local governmental functions. The method of picking of individual institutions and reflection in their broad representation of local factors deciding and participating in educational activities (local authorities, teachers, clergy, representatives of citizens) had in his assumption to engage and involve the public in the effort aimed to reduce the scourge of illiteracy, the full implementation of the compulsory education and to raise the level of education. Each institution had similar range of competence in relation to the represented and governed area. The units carrying out their responsibilities took resolutions, formed conclusions and recommended the development and strengthening of the elements forming the education system. Unfortunately, they did not have any significant decision-making powers and regulations that could be used effectively on the local governments, who were responsible for founding the new and the maintenance and development of existing educational institutions. Thus, their role was mainly to act as consultative and advisory bodies. Probably the lower than expected effectiveness of the education supervising social factors also largely contributed the elimination of their structures. It is difficult to state clearly how the putting into force at the beginning of 1939 legal solutions could be effective in achieving the demands associated with general education. Perhaps an attempt of closer relationship between the new educational committee – the district and municipal – with the local authorities had a chance to strengthen the case and the position of education in the bodies responsible for them and financing them. However, as we know, the new government related bodies had no time to develop their activities. The process of their forming was interrupted by the forthcoming Second World War.

Józef Piłsudski at his 51, succeeded to the office of the Temporary Chief of the State on November 22nd 1918. He was expected to be on the post till the first session of the parliament that only was to be elected. Nevertheless it was his decision to announced the elections and convoke the parliament as soon as possible. Doing that J. Piłsudski was looking mainly for the legitimisation of his power by the democratic representation of the people, and not by the organ in which the sovereignty of the restitution state was fixed. We can presume that he did not believe in fact that this body was able to represent an authentic wish of the nation. He was convinced that he had understood himself the true interests of the people correctly enough to be able to act in the name of the nation. On the other hand the Seym (Polish Parliament) that had been elected, treated its post seriously considering itself the only sovereign of the Republic of Poland. This difference of views on the political roles contributed very much to the future conflicts. It was an important factor that created Piłsudski’s opinion on the function of parliament in the political system of the state. There were four questions in Pilsudski’s views concerning the parliament. The first one was connected with the opinions about the particular Seyms. He depreciated all of them, gave them sarcastic epithets, unjust accusations and invectives. In his other public speeches Piłsudski made the differences between the Parliament as an institution and its members as the individuals. According to his views however the parliament as an element of the political system of the state was useless, but still more useless was the individual member of parliament about whom his opinion was even worst. The third question very much underlined in Pitsudski’s speeches was the place of parliament determined by the March constitution. In his eyes there was no excuse for the position of the parliament as the first and most important element of the state political system. To the contrary - he was convinced that the position of both Houses of Parliament as it was fixed by the constitution, could produce nothing but bad results for the state and just a catastrophe as far as the power of the president was concerned. Last but not least he formulated comprehensive opinions about the parliamentary system in general and about the Polish one in particular. He maintained that the parliamentary system was in a deep crisis in the world. He said that the Polish parliament was extremely and incurably ill, and that as an institution it was hated by the society. In those circumstances there is nothing surprising in the fact that it was in Pilsudski’s political environment where the idea of depriving the parliament of its most important attributes and minimising its influence on the political life of the country was born. I t was the main direction of changes introduced by the constitution of April 1935. The postulate of Piłsudski was then realised by that constitution. The Seym still existed but without the real power and influence on the government of the state. In a great part it preserved only the externals of the real parliament.

Badania nad występowaniem węgla w powietrzu wewnętrznym wybranych uczelni w Polsce. Prezentowane badania miały na celu rozpoznanie stężeń submikronowego pyłu (PM1) i związanego z nim węgla organicznego (OC) i elementarnego (EC) w sali wykładowej i tzw. laboratorium studenckim. W pracy omówiono zmienność 24-godzinnych stężeń PM1, OC i EC w obu pomieszczeniach (I, ang. indoor) oraz w powietrzu atmosferycznym (O, ang. outdoor), a także przeanalizowano stosunek I do O. Na przełomie wiosny i lata, niezależnie od lokalizacji (Gliwice – laboratorium studenckie, Warszawa – sala wykładowa), stężenie węgla elementarnego (EC) i organicznego (OC) wewnątrz sal dydaktycznych kształtowała intensywność migracji tych zanieczyszczeń wraz z powietrzem atmosferycznym. Tym samym można uznać, że w żadnym z badanych pomieszczeń dydaktycznych nie występuje istotne źródło OC i EC. Mimo to należy zauważyć, że warunki sprzyjające sorpcji różnych zanieczyszczeń, w tym zwłaszcza związków organicznych tworzących grupę OC na cząstkach pyłu, zmieniają się dynamicznie w czasie i przestrzeni. Wydaje się, że w innym okresie pomiarowym, na przykład w zimie, kiedy wietrzenie sal jest rzadsze a pył atmosferyczny ma inny skład, kumulacja zanieczyszczeń, w tym OC, wewnątrz sal może być większa niż w okresie ciepłym.
Research on carbon occurrence in indoor air of selected universities in Poland. The research presented herein aimed at recognition of submicrone particulate matter concentration as well as organic (OC) and elemental (EC) carbon bound to it in a lecture room and students’ laboratory. The 24-h variability of PM1, OC and EC concentration in both rooms were also discussed along with I : O ratio. In the analysed period – the turn of spring and summer – independent of the location (Gliwice – students’ laboratory, Warsaw – lecture room) the indoor concentration of elemental carbon EC was conditioned by the intensity of those contaminants migration along with atmospheric air. Because of this, it can be concluded that in neither of the rooms there was an important source of OC and EC. However, it should be noted, that conditions favourable for different contaminant sorption, in particular those belonging to OC bound to particulate matter, vary in time and space. It is expected, that for other measurement period – for instance in winter, when rooms are ventilated seldom and PM has different composition, the cummulation of indoor contaminants, including OC, may be higher than for warm period.

W oparciu o dane z 29 małych oczyszczalni ścieków z Sekwencyjnymi Reaktorami Biologicznymi, ustalono koszty inwestycyjne tych jednostek. W pracy podjęto próbę klasyfikacji struktury tych kosztów. Badania wskazują, że współczynnik relacji pomiędzy kosztami inwestycyjnymi jednostki i pojemnością oczyszczalni a Równoważną Liczbą Mieszkańców jest wysoki, odpowiednio: 0,801 i 0,864. Ponadto, koszty inwestycyjne oczyszczalni ścieków opartych na Sekwencyjnych Reaktorach Biologicznych w 2013 były dwa razy większe w porównaniu do kosztów z 2004.
The study shows that coefficients of correlation between the unit investment costs and plant capacity, as well as Equivalent Inhabitants Number are high: – 0.801 and – 0.864 respectively Investemnt costs of wastewater treatment plants with SBR type biological reactors in year 2013 were twice higher compering to the costs in year 2004. Developed indicators of investment costs can be used in feasibilities studies as well for comparisons with the costs proposed by the contractors during the tenders procedures.

W artykule przedstawiono zagadnienie wytrzymałości okrłgłych połączeń przetłoczeniowych wykonanych dla cienkiej blachy stalowej z materiału 1.0338 (DC04). Dla blach poniżej 1 mm niezwykle istotne jest zachowanie wysokiej sztywności narzędzi oraz czystości powierzchni łączonych elementów. Podczas badań eksperymentalnych analizowano wytrzymałość na ścinanie oraz zachowanie się przetłoczenia podczas testu rozdzielenia. Na podstawie otrzymanych wyników stwierdzono pewną niejednorodność w wartościach maksymalnej siły niszczącej złącze.
This paper presents the strength issue for round clinching joints made of 1.0338 (DC04) thin steel sheet. For sheets of thickness below 1 mm it is important to maintain high toolrigidity and cleanliness of joined element surfaces. Their shearing strength and redrawingjoint behavior during separation test was analyzed during experimental researches. Basedon achieved results, some heterogeneity in maximum joint breaking force was observed.

Opis:
The article presents the analysis of the structure of the load capacity of riveted joints. For the four joining systems the lap joint specimens were made and tested in the shearing test. The joints were prepared for the three combinations of the DC01 steel and EN AW- 5754 aluminium alloy sheets with the thickness of 2mm. On the basis of the obtained load-elongation diagram tensile shear test curves, the basic parameters defined in the ISO/DIS 12996 standard were determined. In the case of the conventional riveted joints the maximum load capacity of the joint is determined by the strength of the fastener. For the joints with aluminium-steel blind rivet , the load capacity of the joint was on the strength limit of the rivet tubular part and on the strength limit of the sheet material. The strength of the SSPR joint is determined by the mechanical properties of the material of the joined sheets. From all sheets and rivet specimens arrangements the highest load capacity of the joint was obtained for the DC01 sheet material joints, and the lowest load capacity of the joint was obtained for the EN AW-5754 sheet material joints.
