Opis:
The Tatra Mts are the highest mountain range in the Carpathians and are an important biodiversity region for many organisms. Plants, animals, and fungi are better studied in this region, while myxomycetes still remain understudied. This study presents the most up-to-date checklist of myxomycetes in the Polish Tatra Mts. The list is based on the published literature data and new records from the years 2000-2019. Overall, 85 species are reported, four are new to Poland (Arcyria cf. helvetica, Cribraria macrospora, Fuligo cf. licentii, and Nannengaella cf. mellea), and 30 taxa (species or varieties) are reported for the first time from the study area.

Opis:
A myxomycete species, Dianema depressum is reported for the first time in Poland. It has been found in the Jaszowiec stream valley, localized in the Beskid Śląski Mts (the Carpathians) in November 2015. The cool period seems to be the typical time of the species’ occurrence.

Revision of the genus Licea (Myxomycetes) in Poland

Opis:
Diversity and distribution of the Licea species in Poland is revised based on literature data and new records. Sixty-five specimens found in the field were examined representing 11 species and one unassigned morphotype (Licea sp.). Six species: Licea biforis, L. castanea, L. clarkii, L.cf. pedicellata, L. poculiformis and L. pygmaea are reported for the first time from Poland. Illustrations of macroscopic and microscopic characters of each species are provided. A key to the Licea species occurring in Poland is also included. Several specimens were collected on the bark of orchard apple trees that seems to be a favourable substrate for Licea species. Finally, phenology of the Polish field records indicates that the Licea sporophores occur all over the year.
