The paper concerns the scope and cost-benefit analysis of modernization and repair of two objects: forester's house and multi-family house. Modernisation involves the repair of defects in the existing part of the forester's house before constructing a new part of the building and on the adaptation of multi-family building living quarters into the retail and service building.

Opis:: The paper concerns a device for testing diagonal anchorages, designed by the author. This device constitutes the basis for the testing equipment used for the performed test. Opis:: Tematem artykułu jest wariantowanie sposobów modernizacji zabudowy mieszkaniowej wielorodzinnej, zrealizowanej według technologii tradycyjnej z cegły pełnej. W pierwotnej wersji cały obiekt był przeznaczony do zamieszkania przez lokatorów. Zanalizowano możliwość przekształcenia części parteru budynku (dwóch z trzech segmentów) na lokale handlowo – usługowe i związane z tym przedsięwzięciem prace modernizacyjne. Budynek mieszkalny wielorodzinny to obiekt trzy segmentowy, posiadający trzy kondygnacje mieszkalne. Znajdują się w nim mieszkania jedno-, dwu- i trzypokojowe. Modernizowany blok znajduje się w terenie otwartym. Posiada także strych, który jest częściowo zagospodarowany – znajdują się tam dwa mieszkania. Planowana modernizacja miałaby na celu utworzenie 6 lokali handlowo – usługowych, które nie byłyby ze sobą połączone. Przy lokalu od strony wejścia z podjazdem dla osób niepełnosprawnych znajdowałaby się toaleta przystosowana specjalnie dla potrzeb osób niepełnosprawnych.
The topic of this article is preparing variants ways of modernizing residential multifamily, realized according to the traditional technology of solid brick. In the original version of the entire facility was designed to live by tenants. It analyzed the ability to convert part of the ground floor of the building (two of the three segments) for commercial premises - services and associated with this project and modernization works. Multifamily residential building it object three segments having a three-storey residential housing. It includes flat one-, two- and three-room apartments. Modernized block is located in the open. It also has a loft, which is partially developed - there are two apartments. The planned modernization would be to create a 6 commercial premises - services that would not be connected. With the flat side of the entrance of the driveway for the disabled would be significantly toilet specially adapted for the disabled.

The paper presents several methods of layered wall reinforcements used in construction practice and, in particular, the system, which is used to strengthen of the walls for panel buildings in Lomza. It is the COPY-ECO system, for which the calculations of static anchors were carried out.

Opis:: Z uwagi na zagrożenie odspojeniem warstwy fakturowej w budynkach wielkopłytowych, podejmowane są działania mające na celu zapobieganie temu zjawisku. Stopień zniszczenia oprocz jakości wykonania i oddziaływania czynnikow zewnętrznych, zależy przede wszystkim od lokalizacji obiektu (np. tereny gornicze). Na trwałość mocowania warstwy fakturowej mają wpływ: parametry żywicy (wytrzymałość na ściskanie, zginanie, rozciąganie oraz odporność termiczna), klasa betonu (stopień jego degradacji w konstrukcji) oraz gatunek i jakość stali (zwykła lub nierdzewna). W artykule zostaną przedstawione poprzez plan eksperymentalny parametry określające trwałość elewacyjnej warstwy fakturowej.
With attention to the disconnection threat of the textured layer in the buildings of large slab, actions are taken to prevent this phenomenon. The degree of destruction apart from the quality of performance and the influence of external factors depends primarily on the location of the facility (e.g. mining areas). The stability of fixing of the texture layer is influenced by: the characteristics of the resin (compressive strength, bending, stretching, and heat resistance),concrete class (the degree of degradation of the structure) and the species and quality of the steel (ordinary or stainless steel). In the article will be presented trough the experimental plan parameters determining the durability of the texture layer facade.

Opis:: Purpose: The article presents the possibilities of using anchoring systems in the walls of three-layer large slab panel buildings. The use of diagonal anchors allows to increase the effective anchorage depth, which significantly increases the durability of the façade textured layer. Design/methodology/approach: Pilot tests have confirmed the necessity to use an anchor system in various configurations. Findings: The documents used included the conclusions of the pilot tests on the real object and the main experimental tests carried out on concrete samples. Research limitations/implications: The design of new anchorage systems and the proposed theoretical models for estimating their theoretical load capacity are based on the Guidelines contained in the European Technical Approvals. Practical implications: Single bonded anchorages used in engineering practice require evaluation in order to increase the durability of larger areas of the façade textured layer. Originality/value: The possibility of differentiating system anchors makes it possible to use them in very thin structural layers (diagonal anchors).

Opis:: Budynki wielkopłytowe tworzące osiedla mieszkaniowe to specyficzne obiekty budowlane wykonane według ujednoliconych wzorców urbanistycznych, architektonicznych i konstrukcyjnych, uwzględniające głównie aspekt sanitarny zamieszkania z pominięciem zagadnień związanych z ochroną środowiska naturalnego. Obiekty te często są eksploatowane niezgodnie z wymaganiami prawa budowlanego i ochrony środowiska, zmieniają się również wymagania mieszkańców. Zjawiska te powodują szybsze ich zużycie i w następstwie wymuszają ich modernizację. Aktualne wymagania normowe narzucają, aby wszystkie budynki mieszkalne spełniały warunek projektowanego okresu użytkowania (50 lat). Modernizacja budynków wielkopłytowych przyczynia się do poprawy warunków mieszkaniowych, sprzyja rozwiązywaniu problemów społecznych, tworzy lepszy klimat w środowisku zamieszkania oraz zapewnia bardziej przyjazne dla środowiska przyrodniczego formy przystosowania do potrzeb człowieka. W artykule poruszono problematykę połączeń docieplonej warstwy elewacyjnej z konstrukcyjną w budynkach wielorodzinnych Łomżyńskiej Spółdzielni Mieszkaniowej wykonanych w technologii OWT-67N.
“Grade plate” houses creator people settles are specific building objects executed according to standardized patterns objects, architectural and constructional, taking into account connected with protection of natural environment the sanitary aspect of residence from omission the questions mainly. Objects these be exploited incompatibly with requirements of right often and of environment, the occupants’ requirements change also. Phenomena these cause quicker their waste and they in after-effect extort their modernization. Legal requirements throw on, to all habitable buildings fulfilled condition projected of use (50 years). The modernization of “Grade plate” houses contributes to improvement of conditions, favours solving social problems, creates better climate in environment as well as it assures more friendly for natural environment of form to people needs. In article describes problems with modernization in connection among elevation and constructional layer in houses of Lomza Housing Cooperative executed in OWT-67N technology.

Opis:: Purpose: The topic of this article is the use of anchors bonded in the outer walls of threelayer large slab panel buildings in Poland. Design/methodology/approach: Comprehensive laboratory tests of anchoring systems bonded in various configurations were carried out. On this basis, the theoretical load capacity of the new bonded anchorages can be estimated. Findings: These considerations are the aftermath of the current problem of the former large slab panel buildings in Poland, and more specifically the risk of detachment of the external textured layer in the walls of three-layer large slab panel buildings. Research limitations/implications: The presented variants of experimental research and their comparison with the MES analysis indicate the directions of conduct in strengthening three-layer walls. It should be remembered that the use of additional reinforcement anchorages is practically a necessity, as the next stage of renewing large slab panel buildings is their thermo-modernization. Practical implications: This process results in an increase of the load on the external textured layer, and hence also on hangers. Originality/value: Experimental research is aimed at determining the optimal variant of application of bonded anchors.
