To assist designers in efficiently generating clothing designs that align with consumer preferences and enhancing overall design effectiveness through optimized combinations of design elements, this study proposes a consumer preference-based clothing optimization model. Taking men’s suits as a case study, key design elements and corresponding features were systematically extracted, and orthogonal experiments were employed to determine representative experimental samples. Consumer preference data were collected through perception experiments. Aiming to maximize consumer preference for clothing design, an integrated algorithm combining the BP neural network with the genetic algorithm was applied to achieve design optimization. The experimental results show that the evaluation of the optimization scheme is significantly better than that of other design schemes. The research method can be applied to the generation and optimization of clothing design schemes and has practical significance for improving consumers’ satisfaction with clothing designs.

Opis:
Mooring ropes are essential components of ships and offshore floating structures and they are subjected to cyclic axial loads. This study investigates the evolution of the full-cycle stiffness of fibre polyester ropes under long-term static and dynamic loading. First, the static stiffness characteristics of the ropes, including the rope elongation properties at different stages, shrinkage rates, and creep coefficients after an idle period, are examined under static loads; an empirical formula for static stiffness is established. Second, the dynamic stiffness characteristics of the ropes are investigated under cyclic loads that are typical of platform production operations. The stabilities of the structure under different tensions are compared; the effects of mean tension, tension amplitude, and load cycle on the dynamic stiffness of the ropes are analysed and an empirical formula is established to predict the dynamic stiffness during the engineering design phase. The results of this study can be helpful for the rational design of deep-sea taut-leg mooring systems because they present the evolution of the full-cycle stiffness characteristics of mooring ropes.

Opis:
In order to overcome the challenge of quantifying the influence of environmental conditions and the coexistence of multiple failure modes involved in mechanism reliability modelling under different environments. In this paper, we propose a method for the analysis of mechanism reliability that takes into account the influence of environmental factors and failure modes’ correlation, quantifies the influence of environmental factors as the random distribution and degradation path of parameters, and derives the Copula description of failure mode correlation from the historical data of environmental experiments. On the basis of the discrete mechanism dynamics model, the output parameters of the characteristic points are calculated, and the failure rate of each failure mode is calculated based on the failure criterion and the performance margin theory. Additionally, the dynamic change pattern of the mechanism reliability is compared with the Kaplan-Meier estimation of the corresponding environmental test history data to assess the validity of the calculation results. The reliability modelling problem of a motion mechanism of an automatic rifle automaton in a high and low temperature environment is applied to the method, and the reliability calculation results are close to those of Kaplan-Meier estimation of the test history data, and all are within the upper and lower bounds given by the reliability boundary theory, demonstrating the method's validity.

Opis:
A ship’s wind energy utilization device with multi-mode arc-shaped sails is designed, which have different working modes for sail-assisting or wind power generation according to the ship’s navigation. The structural characteristics and working principles of this device are firstly described in this paper. Three sets of arc-shaped sails with different thickness (4.5 cm, 11.3 cm, 21.7 cm) were designed. Wind tunnel experiments were carried out in the respects of sail-assisting performance and wind-power generation to determine the best sail blade shape and to verify the energy-saving effect of this device. Experiments show that the sail with the smallest thickness (4.5 cm) has a better boosting effect than others, and the sail with the largest thickness (21.7 cm) has the best wind power generation performance. Considering the lateral force and the structural strength of the support, in the case of the comprehensive evaluation for the boosting and power generation performance, it is considered that the intermediate thickness (11.3 cm) is the best choice. The device has a good comprehensive energy utilization effect and has development and application value.

This paper addresses weighted L2 gain performance switching controller design of discrete-time switched linear systems with average dwell time (ADT) scheme. Two kinds of methods, so called linearizing change-of-variables based method and controller variable elimination method, are considered for the output-feedback control with a supervisor enforcing a reset rule at each switching instant are considered respectively. Furthermore, some comparison between these two methods are also given.

Opis:
Self compacting concrete (SCC) filling layer is core structure of China rail track system (CRTS) ? type ballastless track. Construction quality, service performance and durability of CRTS ? ballastless structure are affected by stability of SCC for filling layer. In this study, the stability of SCC of filling layer is researched at three levels as paste, mortar and concrete by theory and experiment. Evaluation indices including bleeding (B), surface bubble rate (θ), thickness of paste (paste) and thickness of surface mortar (L) are proposed based on the theoretical calculation and analysis. The threshold viscosity of paste 0.394 Pa·s and mixture satisfied area are obtained at paste level based on the relationship between viscosity and B, θ of paste. The mixture satisfied area was defined at mortar level under criterions of maximum value of paste and slump flow. Optimal range of gap between neighboring aggregates (λca) 12.4 mm-14.1 mm is chosen by flow ability, passing ability, stable ability of SCC. These research results will help to further understand the stability of SCC.

Opis:
In order to address the problem of the scarce stitch and color of conventional warp-knitted jacquard fabric, this paper puts forward a method of knitting single/double jacquard shoe vamp fabric with a multiple pattern and color on a high-speed warp knitting jacquard machine. In electronic jacquard systems, lateral movements of jacquard bars, relative to the needle bar, combined with controlled stitch structure and displacement data, facilitate the formation of loop and double loop stitches. And two split jacquard bars in half-gauge in odd and even wales can be threaded in yarns with different colors or varied dyeing performances, then the two-color jacquard effect can be obtained combined with stitch structure design. Taking the specific process as an example, this paper introduces a process design method for single/double jacquard shoe vamp materials, including raw material selection, stitch design, jacquard design, process parameter design, textile finishing design, et al., which can provide a theoretical foundation for the design and development of other warp-knitted jacquard fabrics.

Opis:
Berberine (BBR) an active natural plant alkaloid extracted from Coptidis rhizoma, displays potent anticancer activity over a variety of cancer cell lines. The cytotoxic activity of BBR in cancer cells is attributed to persuade, programmed cell death characterized by the release of cytochrome c, accompanied by activation of caspase-3 and caspase-9. In the present study, we evaluated BBR significantly reduces the cell viability and clonogenic property of head and neck squamous carcinoma (HNSC) cells. Our results revealed that BBR simultaneously induces apoptosis and autophagy in HNSC cells. Mechanistically, BBR induces autophagy in HNSC cells which were confirmed by acridine orange (AO) staining by visualization of prominent orange red color acidic autophagosomes in the cytoplasm. However, immunoblotting shows the steady conversion of MAP-LC-3I to LC-3II with concomitant degradation of autophagy substrate protein SQSTM1/p62. Annexin V FITC staining analysis by flow cytometry revealed a significant induction of apoptosis at higher doses of BBR. Furthermore, the immunoblotting analysis revealed a prominent cleavage of proapoptotic proteins procaspase-3 and PARP1 at higher doses of BBR. Additionally, we found significant upregulation and downregulation of tumor suppressor microRNA-155 (miR-155) and oncogenic miR-21 respectively, when HNSC cells were exposed to higher doses of BBR. In conclusion, these results demonstrate that BBR exhibits a significant anti-proliferative effect with the simultaneous induction of autophagy and apoptosis and modulates miRNA expression in HNSC cells.
