Opis:
A series of polymer blends of nitrocellulose (NC) and hydroxy terminated polyether (HTPE) in different proportions were prepared by a solution mixing method. The diffraction peak positions and peak intensities of the blends were analyzed by X-ray diffraction. The relative crystallinity of HTPE in the blends was analyzed by differential scanning calorimetry. The crystal morphology of the NC/HTPE blends was observed with a polarizing microscope. The results demonstrated that there is a certain degree of crystallinity in pure HTPE, while the crystallinity of NC/HTPE blends was gradually decreased as NC was added. In addition, when the mass fraction of NC in the blends was more than 40%, the crystallinity of the blends was hardly observed by these characterization methods, which demonstrated that the crystallinity of HTPE could be easily inhibited by NC.

To assist designers in efficiently generating clothing designs that align with consumer preferences and enhancing overall design effectiveness through optimized combinations of design elements, this study proposes a consumer preference-based clothing optimization model. Taking men’s suits as a case study, key design elements and corresponding features were systematically extracted, and orthogonal experiments were employed to determine representative experimental samples. Consumer preference data were collected through perception experiments. Aiming to maximize consumer preference for clothing design, an integrated algorithm combining the BP neural network with the genetic algorithm was applied to achieve design optimization. The experimental results show that the evaluation of the optimization scheme is significantly better than that of other design schemes. The research method can be applied to the generation and optimization of clothing design schemes and has practical significance for improving consumers’ satisfaction with clothing designs.

Opis:
Various additives, including cement, quicklime, fly ash, montmorillonite, sepiolite and their proportions were employed to stabilize/solidify artificially prepared soils contaminated simultaneously with two kinds of ions such as Cd2+ and Pb2+. The unconfined compressive strength of the stabilized soils was measured to estimate the possibility of recycling. The efficiency of Cd2+ and Pb2+ immobilization in contaminated soils was also evaluated using the US EPA TCLP toxicity test. X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) were used to elucidate the mechanisms responsible for the immobilization of heavy metals. The experimental results demonstrate that in terms of soils simultaneously polluted with Cd2+ and Pb2+ ions, the curing effect of fly ash is better than that of montmorillonite and sepiolite. When Cd2+ and Pb2+ coexist in soil specimens, the curing is more difficult than for Cd2+ or Pb2+ alone, which is antagonistic mechanism. Also, the leaching concentration of Cd2+ and Pb2+ gradually decreases upon increasing pH when pH < 8. For pH ≥ 8, the leaching concentration of Cd2+ and Pb2+ reached a minimum. Besides, the results of XRD and SEM are in agreement with those of the strength and leaching tests.

Opis:
The instant foxtail millet was prepared using microwave vacuum drying (MVD), microwave-hot air drying (MHAD), hot air drying (HAD) and traditional roasting (TR). Their effects on drying kinetics, physicochemical properties as well as sensory quality were evaluated and compared. Results showed that the total drying time varied with the drying method used and was about 160, 100, 260, and 45 min for MVD, MHAD, HAD and TR, respectively. The effective moisture diffusion coefficients (Deff) were 6.57×10-9 m2/s, 9.80×10-9 m2/s, 4.14×10-9 m2/s and 6.20×10-9 m2/s for MVD, MHAD, HAD and TR, respectively. Drying resulted in a significant decrease in L* and an increase in a* and b* of the color of products. MVD, MHAD and HAD products had a comparable rehydration ratio and cooking time. Scanning electron microscopy and rehydration process revealed that MHAD and MVD samples had a similar structure with the HAD sample. Drying caused a loss of 6.5–54.9% in the total phenolic content and a loss of 38.4–62.2% in total yellow pigment content. MVD millet displayed the highest total phenolic content (142.56 mg GAE/100 g dry matter) and yellow pigment content (9.56 mg CE/kg dry matter). In sensory evaluation, MHAD, HAD and MVD samples had comparable scores and were all accepted by the panelists, either in dry or rehydrated form. MHAD and MVD can be used as an alternative to hot air drying or traditional roasting in the production of the instant millet due to shorter drying time and better product quality.

Opis:
A color image compression-encryption algorithm by combining quaternion discrete multi-fractional random transform with compressive sensing is investigated, in which the chaos-based fractional orders greatly improve key sensitivity. The original color image is compressed and encrypted with the assistance of compressive sensing, in which the partial Hadamard matrix adopted as a measurement matrix is constructed by iterating Chebyshev map instead of utilizing the entire Guassian matrix as a key. The sparse images are divided into 12 sub-images and then represented as three quaternion signals, which are modulated by the quaternion discrete multi-fractional random transform. The image blocking and the quaternion representation make the proposed cryptosystem avoid additional data extension existing in many transform-based methods. To further improve the level of security, the plaintext-related key streams generated by the 2D logistic-sine-coupling map are adopted to diffuse and confuse the intermediate results simultaneously. Consequently, the final ciphertext image is attained. Simulation results reveal that the proposed cryptosystem is feasible with high security and has strong robustness against various attacks.

Opis:
The dynamic evolution process of the coal gangue particles’ core retention phenomenon in the process of crushing under stress, the evolution law of grading and the corresponding microscopic mechanical characteristics after continuous particle crushing are analyzed. The meso-level which reveals deformation phenomena of granular materials under the action of external loads is highly complex. At the qualitative level, the static compaction process of coal gangue samples can be roughly divided into three stages: initial compaction stage, compaction and crushing stage, and crushing (compaction) stage. It is proved that the interaction of lateral confined unidirectional compression of granular materials is mainly compression.
