Opis:
Experimental determining of distributions of pulses forcing a linear system, where pulse amplitudes and occurrence instants are random values, is burdened with errors resulting from uncertainty of the measurement and the differences between the model and the physical phenomenon. The objective of this work is an attempt to minimize these errors through application of an approximation algorithm that allows to determine parameters of response of the system to a single pulse forcing. The conclusions issuing from the investigations indicate that the parameters of the vibrating system should be selected so that the impact of the local deformations that occur while the system is being forced on the parameters of the system response should be as small as possible.

Opis:
In the work at the level of basic laws of conservation of energy combined with the use of quadratic spline functions a resolving system of equations is constructed. Herewith, the procedure is prepared to minimize the functionals of total thermal energy and potential energy of elastic deformation involving temperature field.

Opis:
We study the influence of membrane noise on the fluctuations of membrane voltage in the Hodgkin-Huxley neuronal system for the giant axon of squids. We find that the resting potentials of membrane patches in the absence of any external stimulus, exhibit apparent rhythmic fluctuation behaviors. The intrinsic fluctuation frequencies of membrane voltage, due to channel noise, thermal noise, or both, roughly share the same frequency ranges, despite that the fluctuations arisen from the former noise are overwhelmingly larger in amplitude than that from the latter. We also show that the rhythmic fluctuations can help enhance the encoding of weak signals within the rhythmic frequencies ranges and thus contribute positively to the information processing in the nervous system.

Opis:
Dynamics of a neural network in the form of a linear chain of artificial neurons S$\text{}_{i}$∈(-1,1) influenced by an external sinusoidal stimulation is investigated as a function of the range k of synaptic connections with random values. Time evolution of the network is periodic for small k, however, clusters of neurons oscillating with a triple period of external stimulation, with quasiperiodic or with chaotic time evolution may occur. For increasing k the number and width of the chaotic clusters increase and for k >4 the chaotic motion occurs in the whole network. A route to chaos in the considered system is discussed.

Opis:
In this study, a new communication protocol, which addresses the rotary table, has been designed. Developed system works over a single line and is using slip rings. The designed communication protocol ensures the half duplex communication for multiple stations over a single cable. During the protocol design, media access methods, coding techniques and multi-node synchronization techniques were examined. These techniques have been adapted, updated and combined for the study, during the formation of the communication protocol. The designed protocol was tested and verified in the simulation environment with original software, on the microcontrollers. The protocol is aimed to be open source, flexible, easily applicable and a new solution for the distributed control problems in the field of automation and for the rotary table systems in particular.
