Praca magisterska pt. „Wszystko co chcielibyście wiedzieć o Allenie, a o co boicie się zapytać” w założeniu ma odpowiedzieć na pytanie kim jest tak naprawdę ten wybitny artysta. Analizując jego dzieła możemy odkryć, że głównym bohaterem filmów jest właściwie zawsze ta sama postać, która ewoluuje wraz z reżyserem na przestrzeni lat. Postać ta, posiada również bardzo wiele cech wspólnych ze swoim kreatorem. Analizując wybrane filmy, otrzymujemy obraz człowieka, którego możemy określić jako inteligenta i neurotyka nie mającego szans na to, by doznać spełnienia w miłości. Bohater ten jest zwykle egzystencjalistą i pesymistą, który ma problemy, by odnaleźć się we współczesnym świecie. Sam Woody Allen w wywiadach zwykł mówić o sobie jako o człowieku pełnym fobii, niedoskonałości i lęków. Skąd zatem pojawił się u niego gatunek komediowy? W jaki sposób, osoba, która przedstawia siebie wyłącznie w pesymistycznych nastrojach, potrafi robić kino, które bawi ludzi na całym świecie? Jest wiele zagadek i ciekawostek, które kryje w sobie ten wybitny reżyser. Praca przybliża zarówno jego alter ego ukryte w filmach, jak i pokazuje pewne etapy procesu twórczego, począwszy od inspiracji, analizy trybu pracy, kończąc na samym reżyserowaniu dzieł filmowych. Woody Allen jest postacią niezwykle intrygującą i złożoną, a praca ma dać odpowiedź, kim jest tak naprawdę oraz w jaki sposób, jeżeli założymy że jest neurotykiem, potrafi tworzyć tak błyskotliwe i zabawne kino, które nieprzerwanie od kilkudziesięciu lat święci triumfy na całym świecie.
MA thesis entitled: " Everything which you would like to know about Allen but you are afraid to ask about" should answer the question who the outstanding artist really is. Analysing his works, we can discover that the main hero of his films is always the same person who changes like the director over the years. This person has much in common with his creator. Analysing the chosen films, we get the picture of the man who is intelligent and neurotic at the same time and has no chance to experience fulfillment in love. The hero is usually an existentionalist and pessimist, who has problems with finding his place in the present world. Woody Allen used to speak about himself as a person who is imperfect, suffering from phobias and fear. So why the comedy? How is it possible that a person who presents himself exclusively in a pessimistic mood, can make films, which make people laugh all over the world?The are many secrets and curiosities which this outstanding director keeps to himself. This thesis shows his alter ego hidden in his films and also some periods of the creation process, from inspiration, analylsis of the work process to the directing of the films. Woody Allen is a complicated and intriguing personality and this thesis should give an answer, who he really is and how, if we assume that he is neurotic, he can create such funny and witty cinema, which has continually triumphed all over the world for several years. - Dostawca treści:
