Opis:: The problem of usury has been discussed in this article. It was a condemned form of gaining profit in the European tradition. The source of such approach is found in the Biblical trafition which expressly banned lending money on interest. That moral guideline contained in the Bible was followed both in Islam as well as Christianity. It was not a pracice that was excluded from theological discussions, especially that there always appered some cases of abuse. The theological interpretation of authority figures, the Sobor rulings and the Popes’ teachings are all crucial in this matter. The teaching on usury has not changed, but the moral ecaluation of the loans granted on the so-called interest evolved. In the modern times the real and just criteria of charging fees for lending money have been formulated. This problem is especially crucial and current since in the modern practice of chasing the maximum profit, in the situation of ruthless competition, the economic crisis, as well as the vision of the downfall of the bank, there exists a real danger of the emergence of usury. The practices of money trading are not excludes from moral evaluation

Opis:: The family is the union of two people whose relationship aims, among other things, at having children. The relationship built within the smallest cells of society, but also relationship affected by external factors. One of these external factors is the statutory law, including the constitution. The Polish Constitution with its regulations and principles protects the rights of both the child and family well-being. These rules, which form the basis of other legislative acts, should be respected and interpreted in the appropriate way. Pope John Paul II emphasized that family and children are the most important values for humanity. In papal teaching the protection of the family is discussed frequently and from many different angles. Modern Poland needs the family to exist. Hence one should not only listen to the voice of the Holy Father, but also explore the papal teachings on the family and children in Poland in subsequent research.

Opis:: W prowadzonych analizach ukazano rozwój technologiczny środków społecznego przekazu, które od samego początku budziły zainteresowanie Kościoła. Analizie poddano ich ewolucję począwszy od petroglifów i piktogramów, przez wynalezienie druku aż po zjawisko nowych mediów. W nauczaniu Kościoła, początkowa nieufność przerodziła się w ograniczone zaufanie do środków społecznego przekazu w zakresie ich wykorzystania w ewangelizacji. Papieże zauważają w nich narzędzie ewangelizacji i formacji chrześcijańskiej, ale jednocześnie przestrzegają przed ich możliwym złym wykorzystaniem. Analizie poddano czasopisma misyjne wydawane po Vaticanum Secundum – 33 tytuły, z których dziewięć zaprzestało działalności w ostatnich latach. Autor przedstawił prawdopodobne przyczyny tego zjawiska. Tematyka nowych mediów misyjnych w Polsce (ich powstanie, rozwój i perspektywy) stanowić będzie drugą część niniejszego pracowania.
The conducted analyzes show the technological development of the means of social communication, which from the very beginning aroused the interest of the Church. The author analyzed their evolution from petroglyphs and pictograms, through the invention of printing to the phenomenon of new media. In the teaching of the Church, initial suspicion turned into limited confidence in using them in evangelization. The Popes see in them a tool of evangelization and Christian formation, but, at the same time, they warn against possible misuse. The missionary magazines issued after the Vaticanum Secundum were analyzed – 33 titles in all, of which nine ceased their activity in recent years. The author presented the probable causes of this phenomenon. Topics of new missionary media in Poland, namely, their emergence, development and perspectives will constitute the second part of this work.

Ponadto przedstawił możliwości ich wykorzystania w informacji, formacji oraz animacji misyjnej.
Investigations carried out in the first part of the study showed the technological development of the means of social communication, which aroused the Church’s interest from the very beginning. Missionary magazines issued after the Vaticanum Secundum were analyzed and their current crisis was pointed out. It is worth noting that the author presented the probable causes of this phenomenon. The content of this study refers to the issue of new missionary media in Poland, their origin, development and perspectives. The author presented new media in the Web 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0 perspective, scrutinizing the portal, websites and web applications. In addition, he presented some possibilities of their use in information, formation and mission animation.

The contemporary documents of the Church, referring to earlier traditions, willingly take up the subject of nurturing. The subject discusses both general and religious education. This issue is also a frequent topic of the Pope’s statements as well as catechetical reflections. The study presents a plethora of the post-Conciliar Church teaching about the definition and the essence of education, the relationship between the educator and education defining educational goals and the ways to achieve them. The statements build a comprehensive educational vision characterized by the respect for the process of upbringing and foster children. It also refers to the purpose of education, both temporal and eternal.

Opis:: The theme of holiness has been present in the teaching of the Church from the very beginning of her existence. Un capitolo importante in queste sue riflessioni riguardava la bellezza nel contesto liturgico, cioè la bellezza della liturgia che è in grado di mostrare la bellezza di Dio stesso. Parlando della bellezza poi, papa ratzinger, si riferiva sia a ciò che è materiale e artistico, sia alla natura, alla creazione e a Dio. Anche l’attuale pontefice francesco parla della via della bellezza che, secondo lui, può condurre al bene, a Dio ed è capace di creare la comunione interpersonale, interculturale ed interreligiosa.
The dialogue with the world of art was taken up again by Vatican II and continues to this day. The post-conciliar popes dedicated several pronouncements to artists. But it was especially Benedict XVI that put into action a real search for the via pulchritudinis. In his teaching, he showed a particular predilection for the theme of beauty, art, as well as the relationship with the various arts. An important chapter of his reflection concerns beauty in the liturgical context. According to the Pontiff, the beauty of the liturgy manifests the beauty of God who is communicated through the beauty of the Church, and also the beauty of the assembly gathered in the liturgical celebration. Speaking of beauty, according to Ratzinger, it is necessary to take into consideration both the material, artistic one and also that referring to nature, to creation, to God.
