Praca Policji w środowisku społeczeństwa obywatelskiego wymaga od niej pozyskania niezbędnych narzędzi oraz umiejętności. Aby korzyści płynące ze współpracy ze społeczeństwem były jak największe służba ta musi kierować się w swych działaniach określonym planem. Odpowiedzią na wyzwania stawiane przed funkcjonariuszami, a zarazem instrukcją w tworzeniu tego planu jest community policing. Koncepcja ta określa najważniejsze z punktu widzenia Policji zagadnienia, którymi powinna kierować się, jeśli chce jak najefektywniej wykorzystać współpracę ze społecznościami lokalnymi. W pracy tej zostanie przedstawiona geneza policji środowiskowej, jej najważniejsze założenia oraz ocena jej przydatności. Omówione i zestawione z pierwowzorem zostaną działania polskiej Policji mające na celu stworzenie policji środowiskowej. Szczególna uwaga poświęcona będzie dzielnicowemu, jako osobie najbliższej społeczności lokalnej z ramienia Policji. Na koniec przedstawione zostaną wyniki ankiety przeprowadzone wśród studentów Instytutu Nauk Politycznych i Stosunków Międzynarodowych Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego. Głównym celem ankiety było zbadanie stosunku studentów do Policji oraz weryfikacja ich wiedzy na temat jej pracy prewencyjnej, community policing oraz dzielnicowego.
The work of the Police in a civil society environment requires her to obtain the necessary tools and skills. In order for the benefits of cooperation with the society to be as great as possible, this service must be guided by the specific plan in its activities. The answer to the challenges posed to officers and, at the same time, instruction to the creation of this plan is community policing. This concept defines the most important issues from the Police's point of view, which should guide it if it wants to make the most effective use of cooperation with local communities. In this work the genesis of the community policing, its most important assumptions and assessment of its usefulness will be presented. The activities of the Polish Police aimed at creating the environmental police will be discussed and juxtaposed with the prototype. Particular attention will be devoted to the first contact officer, as a person closest to the local community on behalf of the Police. At the end, the results of the survey will be presented among students of the Institute of Political Sciences and International Relations of the Jagiellonian University. The main purpose of the survey was to examine students' attitude to the Police and verify their knowledge about its preventive work, community policing and first contact officer. - Dostawca treści:
