Opis:: In this paper we present a family of transforms that map existentially unforgeable signature schemes to signature schemes being strongly unforgeable. In spite of rising security, the transforms let us make a signature on a union of messages at once. The number of elements in this union depends on the signing algorithm of a scheme being transformed. In addition to that we define an existentially unforgeable signature scheme based on pairings, which satisfies all assumptions of the first part and is able to be subjected to transformation.

Opis:: The aim of this analysis is to draw conclusions from the consideration of the transformation of Polish economy from a command to a market driven one on the basis of results from innovation theory. As the starting point it is assumed that welfare is related to market economy with a considerable number of private and privatised companies. It will be further explained that these companies have to be innovative so as to be successful. The most visible innovation is related to the introduction of marketing units in companies. This, however, implies coping with two generic types of marketing conflicts. The first one is the structural marketing conflict: it results from the internal conflicting objectives. The second one is the marketing implementation problem: it results from the resistance attitudes. The model describing structural conflicts is presented in the paper. It is explained hope the model allows the use of existing computer software to support managers.

Opis:: The development of e-commerce site operators in Indonesia is now faced with intense competition for defending the market segment, especially regarding how e-commerce sites are attracting consumers through specic marketing strategies. This study implements a decision support system approach to help marketers to determine price discount alternatives using the Elimination et Choix Traduisant la Realite (ELECTRE) method. The ELECTRE method is widely recognized for having good performance in analyzing customer behavior criteria; however, there is little information about discount analysis using the ELECTRE method. This study implements a method for consumer behavior simulation that can be aected by the criteria to make a purchase on a simulated e-commerce website. Our model estimates three parts of the matrices' analysis: (a) average value of discounted price (DP); (b) average value of pro- duct brand (PB); and (c) average value of purchase decision (PD). We used these as the main alternatives; e.g., price discounts as rst alternative (A1), brand discount as second alternative (A2), and purchase discount as third alternative (A3). Based on the results of the dominant aggregation matrix, the study found that the results are dominated by brand discount (A2). In other words, it is recommended for the decision maker to focus their discount on certain brands more precisely as a marketing strategy than price discount or purchase discount.

Opis:: When solving problems in the real world using optimization tools, the model solved by the tools is often only an approximation of the underlying, real, problem. In these circumstances, a decision maker (DM) should consider a diverse set of good solutions, not just an optimal solution as produced using the model. On the other hand, the same DM will only be interested in seeing a few of the alternative solutions, and not the plethora of solutions often produced by modern search techniques. There is thus a need to distinguish between good solutions using the attributes of solutions. We develop a distance function of the type proposed in the Psychology literature by Tversky (1977) for the class of VRP problems. We base our difference on the underlying structure of solutions. A DM is often interested in focusing on a set of solutions fulfilling certain conditions that are of specific importance that day, or in general, like avoiding a certain road due to construction that day. This distance measure can also be used to generate solutions containing these specific classes of attributes, as the normal search process might not supply enough of these interesting solutions. We illustrate the use of the functions in a Multiobjective Decision Support System (DSS) setting, where the DM might want to see the presence (or absence) of certain attributes, and show the importance of identifying solutions not on the Pareto front. Our distance measure can use any attributes of the solutions, not just those defined in the optimization model.

Opis:: Wskaźniki złożone tworzy się poprzez zebranie pojedynczych wskaźników w jeden indeks. Idealnie, wskaźnik złożony powinien mierzyć pojęcia wielowymiarowe, których nie da się uchwycić przy pomocy pojedynczego indeksu. Ponieważzarządzanie aktywami jest dziedziną wielodyscyplinarną, przydatne byłoby wykorzystanie w niejwskaźników złożonych. W przedstawionej pracyopisano metodęmonitorowania złożonej jednostki w zakładzie przetwórczym. W podanym scenariuszu, złożony wskaźnik wykorzystania powstał z połączenia wskaźników wykorzystania niższego rzędu z wartościami ważonymi. Każdy wskaźnik wykorzystania zawiera informacje na temat statusu jednego aspektu jednostek niższego rzędu, a każda wartość ważona odpowiada jednej jednostce niższego rzędu.
Composite indicators formed when individual Indicators are compiled into a single index. A composite indicator should ideally measure multidimensional concepts that cannot be captured by a single index. Since asset management is multidisciplinary, composite indicators would be helpful. This paper describes a method of monitoring a complex entity in a processing plant. In this scenario, a composite use index from a combination of lower level use indices and weighting values. Each use index contains status information on one aspect of the lower level entities, and each weighting value corresponds to one lower level entity. The resulting composite indicator can be a decision-making tool for asset managers.

Opis:: A prototype for an operational ship routing Decision Support System using time‐dependent meteo‐oceanographic fields is presented. The control variable is ship course, which is modified using a directional resolution of less than 27 degrees. The shortest path is recovered using a modified Dijkstra’s algorithm. Safety restrictions for avoiding surfriding and parametric rolling according to the guidelines of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) are implemented. Numerical experiments tailored on a mediumsize vessel are presented and perspectives of development of the system are outlined.

Opis:: One of the ways that meta-design methodology, introduced into the DSS area by Moore and Chang, can be further advanced thanks to the DSS architecture approach. The seminal Sprague-Carlson DSS design paradigm (Data-Dialog-Modeling) underlies or underpins most discussions of DSS architectures. Research done by the authors for several Polish business enterprises in the 1980s indicated the need to extend the Sprague-Carlson architecture. Their proposed solution thus seeks to enhance the original meta-design DSS methodology. The paper aims to present the findings of the authors’ research efforts focusing on a solution which has been in effect for over a decade in large enterprises as well as in capital groups.

Opis:: A lot of companies have a problem with the selection of the type of computer network, because each of them has different characteristics and specifications. A businessman often does not know what he can expect from them and which type of network will allow him to fully exploit the potential of its business. The main objective of the work is to build a decision support system in this area. Intermediate target is to specify the characteristics or criteria which will be guided by a businessman in this selection. A comparative analysis of the type of access to the network using a case study was made in the work. The paper also developed the concept of a decision support system on the issue in question. As a result, six benchmarking criteria were specified and analyzed: security, data integrity, price, mobility, performance and configuration. As a result of the analysis, the final ranking was presented. Having used AHP method it showed which type of access to the network according to the given criteria provided by a businessman was the most suitable for him.
