Tezą pracy jest przekonanie, że literatura (zwłaszcza współczesna) wymaga takich sposobów lektury, które choć rozmijają się z “normalnymi” metodami interpretacji, są uzasadnione i pozwalają wiarygodnie badać wieloznaczność tekstów. Taką metodologią jest dekonstrukcjonizm, który kwestionuje tradycyjny model polisemiczny i stara się przedstawić własne ujęcie problematyki pluralizmu (które zostaje zestawione z propozycją hermeneutyki Gadamerowskiej i myśli słabej).
Main topic of the thesis is ambiguity of literature, which (especially contemporary) demands special ways of reading. Although different from "normal" methods of interpretation, they are justified and reliably explore ambiguity of texts. Such an alternative method is deconstruction, which questions traditional polisemic schema and proposes different approach to pluralism (which is confronted with propositions of Gadamerian hermeneutics and weak thought).

Ten rozdział śledzi wpływ Kierkegaarda na sformułowanie przez Derridę pojęcia mimesis. Ten, dotąd niebadany w studium porównawczym Kierkegaarda i Derridy, temat oferuje czytelnikom wgląd w niezwykłe pokrewieństwo między myślicielami w ich unikalnym odczytaniu mimesis. Derrida przyjmuje filozoficzną metodę Kierkegaarda polegającą na rozkładaniu pojęć i przypisywaniu im nowych znaczeń, które uwzględniają dynamiczną naturę ludzkiej egzystencji. Znajduje to odzwierciedlenie w sposobie, w jaki Derrida bawi się słowami i pojęciami, próbując uchwycić to, co nazywa pharmakonem, a mianowicie dwoistą naturę mimesis. Podczas gdy Kierkegaard przedstawia mimesis w sposób pośredni, zgodnie ze swoją "dialektyką inwersji", i umiejscawia jej właściwą funkcję w złożonościach ludzkiej egzystencji, etymologiczne badania Derridy przedstawiają mimesis wymykającą się kategoryzacjom, które często sytuowane są w ramach pojęciowych antynomii. This chapter traces Kierkegaard’s influence on Derrida’s formulation of the concept of mimesis. This hitherto unexplored subject in a comparative study of Kierkegaard and Derrida offers readers an insight into a remarkable affinity between the thinkers regarding their unique reading of mimesis. Derrida adopts Kierkegaard’s philosophical method of breaking down concepts and ascribing new meanings to them that account for the dynamic nature of human existence. This is reflected in the way Derrida plays with words and concepts in his attempt to grasp what he calls the pharmakon, namely, the dual nature of mimesis. While Kierkegaard presents mimesis in an indirect way according to his ‘dialectic of inversion’ and situates its proper function in the complexities of human existence, Derrida’s etymological investigations present mimesis slipping out of categorizations that are often situated in frameworks of conceptual antinomies. Both thinkers engage the concept mimesis to reevaluate the copy. For Kierkegaard, the idea of the copy is critical to our understanding that all humans are created in the image of God; for Derrida the copy is the only "thing" we have access to, a trace of the ideal that is inaccessible to us.

Unconditional hospitality is not only exposure to the coming of that coming, which is welcomed. It will be a hospitality that gives what she has, what has not as its own. Thus, it is hospitality as impossible. Does the impossible and is not only impossible, as an invitation to do what is impossible. Therefore, the absolute hospitality requires that I open in “chez moi” and that gives me not only abroad, but also the absolute Other, unknown, anonymous, and I give place, that lets you come, come and let have a place in the place that offers you, without asking reciprocity, not even your name. The law of unconditional hospitality commands unconditionally, without power over the visitor arrives or absolute. This form of hospitality, Derrida means of hospitality for visitors, as opposed to normative or conditional hospitality, which follows the logic of the call. Hospitality is deconstruction and deconstruction is hospitality. Hospitality is the output of the proper place to seek the stranger-Other accepted.

Opis:
In this article I endeavour to tackle the myth of Derrida’s untranslatability. First, I present the theoretical basis for my research – Henri Meschonnic’s poetics of translation. Then, I try to determine the factors which make translating Derrida’s texts difficult: the polysemy of his most important terms and the “terminological fields,” that is all the terms related to each other. Two examples of these fields support my argument. Finally, I analyse some Polish translations of Derrida’s text and show linguistic difficulties in Polish translations of La différance and other texts, where not only the Derridean style, but also grammar, vocabulary, and expertise in philosophy leave a lot to be desired.

The topic of this paper is the golden dust metaphor in Bolesław Leśmian’s poems, fairy-tale prose, essays and plays. It is interpreted as one of many variations of the black sun trope, the gnostic and alchemical symbol for the unity of oppositions and for transformation. Analysis of Leśmian’s metaphor leads to the conclusion that his writing corresponds to gnosticism and alchemy. It takes up the concept of material concreteness, nudging the reader to combine oppositions and transmutation. Acting through words, through tropes, reflects the performative status of Leśmian’s creative work.
