Opis:: An original method of ERP in SME implementation efficiency assessment (EWE) is developed. It consists of 5 elements, that is: (1) ERP system parameters, (2) SME company parameters, (3) an SME experience which proceeded the ERP project, (4) functionality indicators values, (5) an algorithm that enables ERP and SME characteristics binding – a GMDH algorithm. The application of this method allows predicting economical effects as far as the implementation of ERP is concerned, taking into consideration efficiency indicators in the analyzed company. On the basis of the EWE method, a decision model for ERP efficiency implementation has been developed.

Opis:: Methods of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems modelling are presented in the paper. The modelling is necessary to adapt and ERP system to a company in such a way, that it fully supports a management at the operational level, i.e. it supports the business processes in the best possible way. The choice of methods (business process and graph grammarbased)described in the paper is based on the authors’ experiences in several dozen of implementation projects, realized in large Polish enterprises. Themethods can be used to select the best ERP system for a company, to designits implementation, and to customize the system accordingly to the requirementsof a company.

Opis:: Using cloud computing with web technology affects the scalability, reliability and availability of information and data systems, often reducing the cost of organization. The use and transfer to the cloud of IT systems, including the ERP, can be a source of many problems and difficulties. The aim of the article is, apart from theoretical considerations, an indication of how Polish companies perceive the advantages and barriers of implementation cloud based ERP. The article presents two case studies from Polish companies.

Przenoszenie do chmury systemów informatycznych (w tym klasy ERP) jest złożonym procesem i może być źródłem wielu problemów i trudności. Celem artykułu, oprócz rozważań teoretycznych, jest wskazanie, jakie zalety i bariery napotykają polskie firmy podczas wdrażania rozwiązań chmury obliczeniowej w swojej działalności. Zdefiniowanie wniosków umożliwiła analiza dwóch studiów przypadku.

Opis:: This paper discusses various aspects that should be considered when defining and executing extraction process-related information from the source data (ERP system) to an event log. This includes trace and event selection, as well as important project decisions that should be made beforehand. The basic idea of a proposed approach is demonstrated by performing a case study which is related to a standard sales order processing, that is, business process from sales quotation through sales order and delivery to invoicing. For this processes we showed the characteristics of the event logs, and the models we can discover.

Opis:: The aim of the article is to present the perspective of maintenance development in the context of the 4.0 industry concept. One of the factors that determine the safe and effective use of machines and devices is the properly maintained maintenance process. Correct performance of activities as part of this process requires the use of appropriate knowledge and experience from people implementing this process. Very important in this process is, above all, good organization of work and technical knowledge. The very rapid development of technology causes that teams dealing with the maintenance of traffic in enterprises must systematically acquire knowledge and optimize their activities. Effective exploitation of all types of devices is a set of rules, rules, procedures and actions, the main aspect of which is a human being. Knowledge resources should have appropriate substantive content adapted to the recipient. The article presents a modern solution supporting the maintenance process, taking into account the tools supporting the activities of human teams. The basic principles of maintenance in the enterprise covering machine monitoring systems, production management and management of information on the state of the machine park are discussed. There are also examples of the use of selected tools in the mining industry. Reference was also made to the prospects and directions of the development of maintenance in relation to the fourth industrial revolution.

Opis:: This paper presents ERP class system objective assessment method when using the neural systems GMDH basing on the Ivachnienko algorithm. An approach to ERPs evaluation aimed at their successful implementation into a class of the small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) is considered. The set of performance indices supporting an ERP evaluation in the context of its implementation into a given SME is proposed. Consequently the decision model binding the selected indicators of effectiveness of SME implementation with the parameters of a given ERP system and the parameters of the company as such, which introduced this system is discussed.
