    Opis:
    Transactional Analysis is currently one of the most holistic personality theories, well recognised in the vast business world reality. In contemporary organisations Transactional Analysis (TA) is applied in order to recognise psychological mechanisms of communication, interferences in its flow, and also to plan changes enhancing the information flow process. The article presents assumptions of Transactional Analysis with reference to the leadership practice that requires managerial maturity in developing responsible and satisfying relations with employees (the so-called transactions as referred to by the TA language). Having assumed the manager’s personality and its maturity level constitute the key factors in shaping leadership efficiency, tools proposed by the TA concept have been deployed to determine the transactional profile of an efficient manager and to formulate the development tendencies. Owing to its consistency with the partner leadership approach, the Transactional Analysis model offers a perspective of numerous references to managerial practice and provides precise development indications.

    Percepcja humanoidalnego robota przez dzieci w polskich i japońskich warunkach
    Children’s perception of a humanoid robot in Polish and Japanese settings

    Poniższa praca jest przedstawieniem analizy jakościowej interakcji dziecko-robot z udziałem polskich i japońskich uczestników w wieku przedszkolnym. 105 polskich dzieci w wieku 5-6 lat oraz 39 japońskich dzieci w wieku 4-6 lat wchodziło w swobodną interakcję z humanoidalnym robotem Pepperem w znajomym środowisku. Scenariusz spotkania zawierał w sobie aktywności wspólne z robotem (taniec), koordynowane przez robota (słuchanie czytanej historii, rysowanie) lub proaktywne (zadawanie Pepperowi pytań przez dzieci). Analiza wskazuje, że zarówno polskie, jak i japońskie dzieci chętnie angażują się w interakcje, ale przedstawiają inne postawy wobec robota. Japońskie dzieci wykazują mniejszą skłonność do antropomorfizacji robota, zdają się być mniej zainteresowane jego budową i mechaniką, z kolei polskie dzieci są bardziej prowokujące i bezpośrednie w kontakcie z robotem. Obie grupy zdają się być zaciekawione możliwościami, preferencjami i doświadczeniami robota.
    The following thesis presents a qualitative analysis of child-robot interaction with Polish and Japanese preschool participants. 105 Polish children aged 5-6 and 39 Japanese children aged 4-6 interacted freely with the humanoid robot Pepper in a familiar environment. The scenario of the meeting included activities performed together with the robot (dance), coordinated by the robot (storytelling, drawing) or proactive (asking questions to Pepper by children). The analysis indicates that both Polish and Japanese children willingly engage in interactions, but present different attitudes towards the robot. Japanese children are less inclined to anthropomorphize the robot, seem to be less interested in its construction and mechanics, while Polish children are more provocative and direct in contact with the robot. Both groups seem to be curious about the robot's possibilities, preferences and experiences.

    The actuality of our scientific research is determined by the necessity for the historical analysis of the free children’s upbringing in the spirit of Christianity in the educational and pedagogical concept of N. L. Zinzendorf in the 18th century. The principles of the free upbringing in the pedagogical concept of this pedagogue, namely the principles of the free development of the child’s full potential, combining both demanding as well as respectful attitude towards a child and the formation of the teacher-and-child relationships principle in the process of upbringing. Purpose. The main object of our scientific research is to investigate the Children’s upbringing in the spirit of Christianity in the educational and pedagogical concept of N.-L. Zinzendorf in the 18th century. Methods of investigation. The historic and logic analysis, generalization, systematization and classification of the archives and printed sources. The systematical and logical analysis of the scientific work, scientific literature and archive are used in this study. Results. The new approaches of Christian upbringing used by Zinzendorf in the 18th century gave the opportunity not only to reach children’s hearts, but also to reveal and enlarge the good in their lives. The sensibility and tolerance, which had nothing in common with the strict school upbringing of the early Pietism, were at the core of this new approach.

    Opis:
    The article contains a report of research on the experience of educators of young children in creche. The strategy of the constructivist theory established by K. Charmaz allowed, during the coding of data, to ask the question of what is the representation of the child in the narratives of the educators in a situation of play and organized activity. The concept of developmental accompaniment and the child’s initiative in the activity undertaken, pointed out by the narrators, became the starting point for the emergence of elements of a theory grounded in the data concerning the perception of the child by the educator in the creche, namely the concept of the causative child and the of efficient child.

    Przedmiotem opracowania jest status zabawy swobodnej we współczesnych tendencjach rodzicielskich i w zjawisku projektowania dzieciństwa. Celem autorki jest omówienie problemu marginalizowania roli zabawy swobodnej w wychowaniu. Klasyczne teorie zabawy definiują ją przez pryzmat swobodnej, spontanicznej aktywności, która stanowi nieodłączny element dzieciństwa. Współcześnie, w wychowaniu instytucjonalnym, zabawa swobodna ustępuje miejsca nauczaniu przez zabawę, o czym świadczą programy edukacji żłobkowej i przedszkolnej oraz bogata oferta zajęć dodatkowych. Autorka przyjmuje zatem, że środowiskiem, w którym należy rozpatrywać kwestię zabawy swobodnej, jest rodzina. W związku z powyższym w artykule podjęto refleksję nad współczesnymi tendencjami rodzicielskimi oraz nad zjawiskiem projektowania dzieciństwa. Z ich teoretycznej analizy wyłania się obraz zabawy swobodnej jako kategorii nieobecnej we współczesnym dzieciństwie. Autorka dostrzega problem zawłaszczania dziecięcej autonomii i stawia pytanie o prawo dziecka do zabawy w XXI wieku.
    The subject of the study is the status of free play in contemporary parenting trends and in the phenomenon of childhood design. The author’s objective is to discuss the problem of marginalized role of free play in children’s upbringing. Classic theories of play define it through the prism of free, spontaneous activity, which is an inseparable element of childhood. Nowadays, in institutional education, free play gives way to teaching through play, as evidenced by nursery and pre-school education curricula and a wide range of extra classes. The author therefore assumes that the issue of free play should be considered in the family environment. In view of the above, the article reflects upon contemporary parenting trends and the phenomenon of childhood design. The picture that emerges from their theoretical analysis is the picture of free play as a category which is missing in contemporary childhood. The author recognizes the problem of appropriating child’s autonomy and raises the question of the child’s right to play in the 21st century.

    Opis:
    Celem artykułu jest ukazanie aranżacji przestrzeni w szpitalu oraz sposobów spędzania czasu wolnego przez hospitalizowane dzieci. Badania własne są częścią większego projektu przeprowadzonego na potrzeby rozprawy doktorskiej, dotyczącej doświadczania rodzicielstwa w sytuacji choroby kardiologicznej dziecka. W artykule zaprezentowano szpital jako instytucję totalną oraz zamieszczono fotografie szpitalnych pomieszczeń i fragmenty narracji rodziców ilustrujące zagospodarowanie „pustego” czasu pacjentów na oddziale. Sposób organizacji przestrzeni, barwne korytarze, wyposażenie czy właściwe wypełnianie czasu wolnego mogą pomóc małym pacjentom przezwyciężyć trudny dla nich czas. 
    The aim of the article is to present the arrangement of space in hospital and forms of spending free time by hospitalised children. The presented pieces of research are a part of a larger project realised to the needs of a doctoral thesis regarding parenthood experiences in the context of a cardiological disease in a child. The article presents the hospital as a total institution and includes pictures of hospital rooms and fragments of parental narration which refer to the ways patients managed their “empty” time in a ward. The arrangement of space, colourful corridors, equipment or proper way of spending free time can help little patients to overcome in-hospital difficulties.
