Rozdział drugi traktuje o hermeneutyce tegoż autora, natomiast trzeci i ostatni dotyczy stricte samego języka. Celem pracy jest ukazanie miejsca jakie zajmuje język w rzeczywistości ludzkiej.
This work is about Hans Gorg Gadamer's philosophy of language. It contains three chapters, first one presents history of philosophy of language and the place of Gadamers theory. Next chapter refers to his hermeneutics. The third and the last chapter is about language. The purpose of this work is present a place of language in human reality.

The purpose of this article is to present the notion of beauty according to Hans-Georg Gadamer’s philosophy. The author describes Gadamer’s thoughts referring primarily to the essay The Relevance of the Beautiful and philosopher’s major work Truth and Method. The article consists of five parts which depict, inter alia, the relevance of the beauty, relation between beauty and truth, the glare of beauty and the problem of the lack of beauty.

Opis:: One of the conclusions emerging from Gadamer‟s thought on the traditional notion of the recipient of art suggests that s/he should be placed in a position highlighting his/her role as an active participant in an artistic situation. The framework marked out by the concepts used to tackle this problem allows me to create an interpretation of such a participant also on the axiological plane. It means that the person revealed in the terms “player” or “partaker” is overwhelmed with the values created by a work of art, which makes him/her its witness. The subject of this article is therefore the moral dimension of human existence at play in the transformation of human consciousness and its effect clearly visible in human works and doings. The model of participant-witness would accordingly play an important, unifying role for hermeneutics. A description of moral existence connected with participation in art reconciles philosophical tradition with the Christian model, while giving insight into the functioning of the practical consciousness.

Opis:: Hans Georg Gadamer w swoich rozważaniach nad istotą hermeneutyki w szczególny sposób akcentuje rolę języka w poznaniu i rozumieniu świata. W artykule podejmowana jest próba znalezienia zastosowania hermeneutyki Gadamera w prowadzonych przez lingwistów badaniach nad językowym obrazem świata. Pierwsza część pracy poświęcona jest językowemu obrazowi świata (JOS) w lingwistyce, druga dotyczy zaś hermeneutyki Hansa Georga Gadamera. Trzeci rozdział, łączący tematykę dwóch poprzednich, odpowiada na pytanie stawiane jako cel pracy. Prezentowane tu rozważania mieszczą się w szerszej refleksji nad filozoficznymi podstawami badań lingwistycznych.
Hans Georg Gadamer in his studies on the essence of hermeneutics emphasizes in a special way the role of language in cognition and the understanding of the world. The paper intends to find an application of Gadamer’s hermeneutics in the linguists’ research of the linguistic worldview. Section 1 of the paper considers the worldview in linguistics, section 2 analyzes some aspects of Gadamer’s hermeneutics, while section 3 connects the problems considered in sections 1 and 2 and determines the aim of the paper. The presented considerations are situated in the reflection on the philosophical foundations of linguistic research.

Artykuł jest wprowadzeniem do zagadnienia tradycji obecnego w refleksji H.-G. Gadamera. Autorka analizuje tradycję z uwagi na jej związki ze sztuką. W pierwszej części tekstu pojęcie tradycji zostaje opisane na tle całokształtu poglądów filozofa. Autorka przedstawia tradycję w powiązaniu z kolejno: rozumieniem, doświadczeniem hermeneutycznym, świadomością efektywnodziejową, horyzontem, autorytetem, przesądem. Druga część artykułu to opisanie sztuki jako doświadczenia tradycji. Propozycja Gadamera interpretowana jest jako ewentualne rozwiązanie problemu współczesnej kultury; służy ukazaniu dróg wyjścia z kryzysu, który polegać ma na postępującym niezrozumieniu człowieka i otaczającego go świata, także świata sztuki.

Opis:: W centrum filozoficznej hermeneutyki Gadamera znajduje się doświadczenie rozmowy, której decydującym elementem jest otwarcie się na Drugiego i słuchanie go. Rozmowa wokół tego, co domaga się rozumienia, dzieje się w horyzoncie pytania i odpowiedzi oraz przemienia się razem z partnerami rozmowy. Rozmowa hermeneutyczna, rozumiana jako perychoreza, uświadamia nam, że rozmowa jest sztuką życia i jej istotnym elementem jest hermeneutyczna gościnność. Wiele cennych intuicji dotyczących rozmowy hermeneutycznej znajdujemy u Platona i w „Wigilii” Schleiermachera. W poszukiwaniu odpowiedniego słowa, które miałoby dotrzeć do naszego rozmówcy, doświadczamy nieuchronności śmierci. Ona pozostaje brutalną cezurą, która jednocześnie przerywa rozmowę. Horyzont śmierci jest horyzontem rozmowy hermeneutycznej.
In the center of Gadamer's philosophical hermeneutics is the experience of aconversation. Its decisive element is opening and listening to the Other. A conversation focused on what needs to be understood is happening in the dialectics of question and answer, and is transformed along with the partners of the conversation. A hermeneutic conversation can be understood as perichoresis. It makes us realize that conversation is the art of living and hermeneutic hospitality is its essential element. We find numerous valuable intuitions concerning the hermeneutic conversation in Plato's works and in Schleiermacher's “Christmas Eve: Dialogue on the Incarnation”. Searching for a proper word that could reach our interlocutor, we experience the inevitability of death. It remains a brutal dividing line that, at the same time, breaks the conversation. The horizon of death is the horizon of the hermeneutic conversation.

Opis:: Heidegger thus attempted to give a hermeneutic circle base that would besomething more than just epistemology. His hermeneutics becomes a realontology, which prohibits return to epistemological issues. It is this aporia has become the central problem of philosophical hermeneutics H. G. Gadamer (1900-2002). First introduced to the scientific problem of consciousness essay of 1958,where he developed features of hermeneutical ontology. The essay can be foundin his greatest work, published in 1960 Wahrheit und Methode (Truth andmethod.) The author confirms her ontological universality of understanding, alsocalled the hermeneutic universalism. It follows that understanding as well as theoriginal ontological character of every human life.
