Opis:
The article is devoted to the issue of homosociety. The term became popularized by Eve Kosofsky Sedgwick in her book Between Men. English Literature and Male Homosocial Desire (1985). It refers to all the relationships between men who support one another’s strivings and interests, and who at the same time constitute a group grounded on the discrimination of women and homosexuals. This phenomenon is based for example on the “trade of women”: men exchange women, thus creating patriarchal and patrilineal relations. The issue has been extensively analysed by a great number of researchers (e.g. Luce Irigaray, Adrienne Rich, Pierre Bourdieu, Judith Butler, and in Poland: Maria Janion, Błażej Warkocki, Tomasz Basiuk or Jacek Kochanowski). The work is also worth noting is The Role of Eroticism in Male Society (Die Rolle der Erotik in der männlichen Gesellschaft) by Hans Blüher, who viewed male bonding (homosocial and homosexual) as the key to building and developing society.

Przedmiotem prezentowanych badań jest analiza powiązań między poczuciem osamotnienia a poziomem i strukturą niepokoju u homoseksualnych mężczyzn. W badaniach uczestniczyło 72 homoseksualnych mężczyzn w wieku od 18 do 41 lat. Zastosowano Arkusz Samopoznania R. B. Cattella i Skalę Samotności w opracowaniu J. de Jon-Gierveld i F. Komphuis. Przeprowadzone analizy wykazały obecność powiązań między niepokojem i poczuciem osamotnienia. Czynnik niepokoju wyjaśniał 28% wariancji wyników w zakresie poczucia osamotnienia u badanych homoseksualnych mężczyzn.
The present study focuses on the relationship between sense of loneliness and level and structure of anxiety in homosexual men. Seventy-two homosexual men, aged from 18 to 41, took part in the study and were investigated with the IPAT Scale and De Jong-Gierveld’s Loneliness Scale. The sexual orientation of each participant was determined by his direct declaration. The results of this study show that anxiety correlated with the level of loneliness and accounted for approximately 28% of variance in loneliness among homosexual men.

Opis:
Issues concerning homosexuality is well known both in the documents of the Catholic Church, as well as in the case law of the Roman Rota and the judgments of the ecclesiastical tribunals. Currently, homosexuality is a serious social problem, psychological and legal. The issue of homosexuality more often appears in ecclesiastical tribunals, as a cause of inability of people to take the essential obligations of marriage. Homosexuality causes inability to distinguish carefully the particular subject of matrimonial consent and conduct a critical assessment of the person affected by these disorders, which is unable to transfer the rights and assume the obligations of marriage.

Opis:
This work is to discuss the content of inspired texts concerning homosexuality. Homoeroticism was a phenomenon well-known and tolerated in the communities of the Ancient East. The authors of the Bible are opposed to the practice of homosexual acts finding them in contrary to the nature and will of God revealed in the act of creation (cf. Gen 1–2). Holiness Code defines it as “an abomination” (Lev 18,22) punishable by death (Lev 20,13). The Apostle Paul in his mission ad gentes teaches that homosexual acts are the result of human perversity which turns the truth of God into a lie. In the act of same-sex intercourse people assume roles opposite their nature, causing it to become distorted.

Opis:
The review sums up Piotr Seweryn Rosół’s book devoted to the relation between Witold Gombrowicz and Jean Genet. Despite his critical overtone, the author does not explicitly assess Rosół’s book. He argues with the general idea but notices ambitious intentions and interesting interpretations, which prevents him from rejecting the book as such. On the one hand, Rosół’s work bears the hallmarks of Gombrowicz studies truisms, and on the other hand, it renews some interpretations as it suggests that Gombrowicz uses Genet to “outline” the shape of generally avoided issue of homosexuality. Rosół’s book proves that certain way of critical reading of Gombrowicz is no longer valuable and although he attempts to transgress the traditional critical approach, he does it inconsistently.

Praca pt.: "postawy uczniów gimnazjalnych wobec homoseksualistów" odnosi się do aktualnej specyfiki postaw uczniów szkoły gimnazjalnej wobec osób ze skłonno-ściami homoseksualnymi. Niniejsza praca składa się z trzech rozdziałów. W pierwszym rozdziale przedstawiam zjawisko homoseksualizmu, poprzez zdefiniowanie owego pojęcia. Opisuję krótki rys historyczny osób homoseksualnych w Polsce oraz omawiam przyczyny homoseksualizmu. W tym rozdziale została również scharakteryzowana osobowość osób homoseksualnych. Następnie objaśniam pojęcie postaw, przedstawiam stosunek młodzieży gimnazjalnej do osób o orientacji homosek-sualnej oraz opisuję różnicę w poglądach i postawach dotyczących homoseksualistów pomiędzy pokoleniem dorosłych a współczesnej młodzieży. Rozważam również, czy homoseksualizm jest problemem pedagogicznym. Rozdział drugi zawiera informacje dotyczące problematyki badań własnych. Opisuję metody oraz narzędzia badawcze, którymi posłużyłam się w trakcie przeprowa-dzanych badań. Przedstawiam problem główny wraz z problemami szczegółowymi, prezentuję zmienne oraz wskaźniki. Opisuję miejsce i czas prowadzonych badań, cha-rakteryzuję badaną grupę, a następnie omawiam organizację oraz przebieg badań. Roz-dział drugi kończę na charakterystyce zgromadzonego materiału. Trzeci, ostatni rozdział pracy w całości poświęcony jest dokładnej analizie zgromadzonego materiału badawczego, który został pozyskany w wyniku badań wła-snych. Badania odnośnie postaw uczniów gimnazjalnych wobec homoseksualistów przeprowadzone w Gimnazjum nr 2 im. Św. Dominika Savio w Skawie wykazały, że grupa badanych kobiet przejawia większą tolerancje wobec jednostek homoseksualnych oraz wykazała się większą znajomością zagadnienia, niż grupa badanych mężczyzn.
The master thesis entitled “junior high school students’ attitude towards homosexuals” presents students’ present attitude towards people with homosexual behaviours. The thesis contains three chapters. In the first the author presents and defines the phenomenon of homosexuality. The author provides a short historical background of homosexual people in Poland as well as describes the causes of homosexual behaviours. This chapter also includes the description of a typical personality of people with homosexual orientation. Furthermore, the chapter explains the notion of an attitude, presents the attitude of junior high school students towards the homosexuals, presents the difference in opinions and attitudes towards homosexual people between adults and teenagers. In the last part of this chapter the author considers if homosexual orientation is a pedagogical issue. The second chapter contains information concerning author’s scientific research. It describes methods and scientific tools which were used during the research. The author presents the principal challenge together with detailed scientific problems as well as variables and indicators. The author describes the exact place and time of the conducted research, the target group as well as organization and the process of the research. Finally the author provides the summary of the gathered material. The last chapter of the thesis is devoted to an analysis of the scientific material which was gathered as a result of author’s research. The research which was conducted in Junior High School No 2 in Skawa shows that the group of female respondents display higher tolerance and bigger knowledge about homosexual behaviours and than a group of male respondents.
