Opis:: The institutionalization of the Polish movement in Ukraine, 1988–1991For a long time the Polish minority in Ukraine was unable to fulfill its religious, cultural, educational, and political needs because of the Soviet communist regime. All institutions were controlled by the Communist Party and state security organs. Nevertheless, the process of the rebirth of Polish institutions and organizations began in 1989 via the former channels of the communist apparatus which was prepared to allow limited concessions. Thus the process was from above and not from below, from the center to the periphery, according to the former command political system. It relied on former organisations, mostly Towarzystwo Łączności i Związków Kulturalnych z Zagranicą.However, the ethnic mobilization of the Polish minority in Ukraine proceeded faster than the equivalent process embracing the Ukrainians themselves, who fought also for sovereignty for the nation. The article describes in detail the phases of forming the Polish organizations for which Polskie Stowarzyszenie Kulturalno-Oświatowe was a precursor, and its forms of activity, later imitated by other social organizations, such as Polish language courses, festivals and competitions, folk dancing, travel to Poland.

Opis:: Artykuł jest próbą przedstawienia procesu instytucjonalizacji rachunkowości w Polsce i określenia etapu jej rozwoju. Autor zwraca uwagę na związek między instytucjonalizacją rachunkowości a jej tożsamością jako nauki; wyższy poziom instytucjonalizacji decyduje o silniejszej tożsamości. W pracy posłużono się koncepcją instytucjonalizacji nauki Terry’ego N. Clarka. Autor zestawił zjawiska wyrażające proces instytucjonalizacji rachunkowości w Polsce i podjął próbę ich przypisania do następujących etapów tego procesu: samotny uczony, nauka amatorska, początek nauki akademickiej, dojrzała nauka i wielka nauka W pracy opisano poszczególne zjawiska wyrażające instytucjonalizację. Autor ustalił, że rachunkowość osiągnęła etap wielkiej nauki. Artykuł jest zaproszeniem do dyskusji w zakresie rozwoju instytucjonalnego rachunkowości w Polsce. Autor ma świadomość, że niektóre jego stwierdzenia mają charakter polemiczny i subiektywny. Dlatego też udział w tej dyskusji osób o innych poglądach będzie cennym wkładem w rozwój rachunkowości jako dyscypliny naukowej.
This article is an attempt to present the process of accounting institutionalization in Poland and to identify the stage of its development. The author pays attention to the relationship between the institutionalization of accounting and its identity as a science. The higher the level of institutionalization, the stronger the identity. The study uses Terry N. Clark’s concept of science institutionalization. The article presents the phenomena representing the process of accounting institutionalization in Po- land and made an attempt to assign them to successive stages of this process: the solitary scientist, amateur science, emerging academic science, established science, and big science. The author concludes that accounting has reached the stage of big science. This work is an invitation to discussion on institutional development of accounting in Poland. The author is well aware that some of his statements have a subjective and controversial character, so participation in this discussion of persons with other views will be a valuable contribution to the development of accounting as a scientific discipline.

Opis:: Tools are one of the basic carriers of culture. Most individual activities, including family practices, have their roots in objects. The introduction of new tools has always been resisted at the beginning because it violatedthe institutionalized forms of life. Contemporary processes that deeply change the family make old behaviour patterns affecting family life useless. Furthermore, tools continue to develop and new devices, such as thecomputer or the mobile phone, keep coming out. New communication technologies require new behaviour patterns that institutionalize various forms of family life occurring in liquid modernity.

Opis:: Komunikacja społeczna posiada zarówno aspekt żywiołowy, spontaniczny, jak i instytucjonalny. Obydwa te aspekty są ze sobą powiązane, wzajemnie się warunkując. Analiza jakichkolwiek procesów winna zatem uwzględniać i jeden, i drugi. Szwajcaria słusznie uchodzi dzisiaj za przykład systematycznego podejścia do problemów wynikających z długotrwałego kontaktu kulturowego. Szwajcarzy wypracowali szereg interesujących modeli instytucjonalnych, przy pomocy których ryzyko konfliktu bywa znacząco redukowane, choć nie jest ostatecznie zlikwidowane.
Social communication is not only unrestrained, spontaneous, but also institutional. These aspects are interrelated, mutually conditioned. Analysis of any process must, therefore, take into account both of these aspects. Today, Switzerland is rightly regarded as an example of the systematic approach to problems arising from long-term cultural contact. The Swiss have developed a number of interesting institutional models by which the risk of conflict is at times significantly reduced, though it has not been fully eliminated.

Opis:: Celem niniejszego artykułu było przeanalizowanie stanu prawnej (bezpośredniej) instytucjonalizacji opozycji politycznej we współczesnych państwach, a także wyszczególnienie i uporządkowanie rozwiązań, jakie stosowane są w tym procesie. W opracowaniu postawiono hipotezę, że obecny stan wiedzy na ten temat jest nieaktualny, a prawna instytucjonalizacja, w tym jej konstytucjonalizacja, staje się zjawiskiem coraz powszechniejszym. W celu rozwiązania problemu badawczego i zweryfikowania hipotezy w trakcie badań skorzystano z metody analizy treści i metody porównawczej. Bazę źródłową stanowiły akty normatywne, monografie i opracowania zbiorowe oraz artykuły naukowe. Wynik analizy pokazał, że bezpośrednia instytucjonalizacja opozycji politycznej jest zjawiskiem coraz częstszym, obejmującym również państwa o bogatych tradycjach demokratycznych.
The aim of this article was to analyze the condition of legal (direct) institutionalization of political opposition in contemporary states, as well as to specify and organize solutions that are used in this process. The elaboration hypothesized that current conditio of knowledge on this subject is out of date, and legal institutionalization, including its constitutionalization, becomes more and more common phenomenon. To solve the research problem and verify the hypothesis, the content analysis and comparative methods are used during research. The source base were normative acts, monographs and collective studies as well as scientific articles. The result of the analysis showed that the direct institutionalization of the political opposition is more and more frequent phenomenon, concerning also states with rich democratic traditions.

Opis:: Political relevance is one of the most essential elements of political subjectivity. The process of its acquisition by political parties is not only a factor of their success, but also the foundation of their ability to influence the sphere of current politics. The political relevance of political parties combines both the institutional dimension of political processes and the practice of competition in three dimensions: electoral, parliamentary and cabinet. Only when parties are able to participate in all the three dimensions will they be able to perform the most important functions.
